It was a basic inspection, he came, looked at the outlets and told me he'd email me feedback after.

It went well. The two technicians were knowledgeable and did their work in a professional and prompt manner.

Background: I had older breaker box, that had a "spaghetti" type situation with the internal wiring, some breakers were doubled up, some breakers were not correctly matching the amperage of the wire going in, etc. In general, a neglected situation from the previous homeowner, and something I knew would need attention soon. Dan showed up to do an initial inspection, and informed me of the possibility of a service upgrade, and what it would mean. His explanations were clear and concise. ~2 weeks later: Dan's 2 man crew showed up at 8:30AM and got immediately to work. They gave me some notice and instructed me to shut down any appliances, computers, etc that would be sensitive to a power cut-off. One of the techs worked outside on installing PVC from the previous rusted metal run that I had, while the other tech worked inside sorting out the panel and meticulously labeling all the circuits. After about 7 hours of basically non-stop work, the box was installed and the service was looking AWESOME from the top of the house all the way to the box. Inside the box the wiring was clean and done *VERY* well. Also, they took exhausting time to label every breaker, so now I know what to turn off when I need to! Long story short: I am extremely happy with the work performed, and the precision and care that both techs exhibited. As long as Dan is in business, I will never need to find another electrical contractor ever again. For that, I am thankful. In addition to a great job, the technicians also educated me a lot on what exactly they were doing, and how electrical work should be done properly in general. I asked them a lot of questions, but they were ready to answer and open with information and I learned a lot; I really appreciated this. Both techs were extremely confident in their own abilities and I never had a doubt that they knew *exactly* what they were doing. They were also up to date on the industry in general, and let me know about certain newer technologies like whole house surge protection, and harmonic filters -- being a technology-focused person, I was impressed and reassured by their overall knowledge of the industry and how to get the most efficient and safe electrical service in your home as possible. If you're reading this still, know this: You have found the last electrical contractor you will ever need. Dan's shop goes well above and beyond to make sure their customers are 110% satisfied with the work performed.

They were pretty good. They were prompt and professional but we didn't use them any further because they recommended some things that needed to be done around the house but it was a little expensive. They were prompt and on time. The guy was pretty professional. For the actual service with the big deal, they were pretty good. They did everything that they said they would do and they were on time.

The personnel was extremely thorough, very honest and pleasant. I'd recommend them to anybody else. I liked them.

As far as I am concerned there are no other electrical companies you should hire. Superior Wirework is outstanding. From the owner to all of his employees everyone was fantastic. I also have hired them for some other work and have no worries. I will never use anyone else ever again. Superior Wirework is in my forever contact list for life.

Sperior work accomodated my two work requests on the same day and completed everthing within that day. First Jonasan came and worked on my list: fixed two light switches (bath room and living room), checked the garage external outlet and gave me the information along with exact guidance what needs to be done, fixed 4 garden lights (connectivities) in the front yard and finshed everything in two hours. He was very professional and very informative. I really liked his work and also price was reasonable. Dan came right after that and conducted entire house electric checking which I bought the service package for $88 on Angie's List. He checked all the outlets in the house/garage for an about 1 hour and send me a detailed list of reccomended fixes on a later date. I felt that estimated price was little hight and none of them seemed to be urgent issues to me, but still it was good to know what they are. Glad that I hired them.

He was punctual to the appointment, very professional, answered my questions, came up with a plan to get the cable to the house, without rewiring the whole house, unless we chose to do so. Very professional and friendly. Returned the quote in the time frame he promised, and the price wasn't too bad either. My husband was able to get us to the point we needed to be without hiring him, but I would have considered hiring him based on the experience I had obtaining the quote.

After Superstorm Sandy, having a reliable generator became one of my highest priorities. Not knowing exactly what I wanted, I contacted Superior Wirework based on their reviews here. Dan was incredibly responsive to all my emails as I tried to determine exactly what type of generator I wanted and he even prepared numerous estimates for me. He gave me a very fair estimate based on the installation and delivery of the generator, which he also set up and tested prior to the installation. His crew was very professional and talked me through the various options of the installation, since my electrical panel was on the opposite side of the house from where the generator would need to be. They were efficient and professional, and took the time to walk me through hooking it up so that I wouldn't run the risk of any power surges when I turned it on. I hope to never have to use it, but I am glad to have it and also rest easy knowing that if there is ever any issue with the generator that Superior Wirework is an authorized Generac service provider.

Prior to using Superior Electrical, I used another highly rated eletrician on angie's list and unfortunately that experience wasn't too great. But I found my experience with Superior Wireworks to be very pleasant and professional. Overall it went very well. Received the quote from the owner couple of prior to the work. Very good follow up and detailed list of work that needed to be don. John and another man came to do the work - overall the experience went well. It helped to have a detailed list to ensure accuracy of the work. I would definitely recommend and would use again.

Very good, especially after we got hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. We lost power for two weeks and that is what prompted us doing this with Superior Wirework. They came out and gave us a very competitive quote, showed up when they were supposed to show up and did great work. Far better than other contractors! Very professional and really nice people to work with.

Dan originally showed up on Wednesday to do the replacement, and was very understanding about the fact that I had made a mistake in buying too few replacement detectors. Later that evening, I had purchased the remaining two, and he showed up the next day to complete the work. My wife and I appreciated his understanding, professionalism, and especially his consideration of our shy/sensitive greyhound when he was about to test each detector (which would result in the piercing noise we're all familiar with). All in all, it was a great experience and we would recommend Dan highly.

I got the name of this company from Angie's List and decided to give them a call because of their high rating. First call, I left a message. They called me back later on in the day and gave me an estimate of about $125 for first hour of work (I can't remember exact amount). I told them I had to discuss it with my fiance and that I would call them back. They called me back and left several messages to see if I wanted to make an appointment. Finally, someone called me about 8:00AM one morning. He said that he was free all day and since I didn't have to go to work that day I scheduled an appointment. The guy said he would be at my house in about an hour. Well, needless to say, he NEVER showed up! And I did not receive a call until about 8:00PM. I'm glad I didn't take off of work!

I didn't like it. He did not even fell like asking me so I felt obligated to pay him which is not appropriate for a business.

They are extremely busy.... so I had to wait a week from the original estimate until the work could be completed. As long as you are willing to wait, (and they are worth the wait) they will get to you as quickly as they can.

I contacted a number of electricians concerned that my house might need a complete rewiring. Where others did not do much to really assess the state of my wiring, Dan took the time to check out the panel and the exposed wiring he could see in the basement to try to determine the age and condition of the wiring. Relieved that I did not need to rewire my home, and impressed with the level of service Dan provided, I hired Superior Wirework to do a number of jobs I had piling up since I purchased my house. I changed the scope of work and Dan happily revised the estimate (3 or 4 times) to prioritize what I needed so it fit within my budget. The day of the work, a crew, led by Jon, came to the house, laid out dropcloths before coming in, reviewed the work to be done, made sure I didn't have any questions, and got right to work. The crew worked hard, were friendly, professional, took care of my home, and made sure I could work from home with as little disruption as possible. They did a great job. Living in an older home, I've come to appreciate even simple fixes are hardly ever simple and everything takes longer than I thought it would. This was the case here too, and at the end of the day, it was clear there was another day's work to be done. Dan arranged for the crew to come back the following day to complete the work, even though we were not scheduled for that day. They cleaned up so thoroughly the previous day, the disruption would have been minimal, had they not been able to return so quickly. The second day was a repeat of the first. Jon was super about addressing a few concerns I had after the first day. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Not only is he a knowledgeable electrician, he also understands the importance of customer service. A rare combination, to be sure. Again, all of the guys were great, worked hard and well into the evening to finish up the job and make sure my house was clean before they left. Their work, and my house looks fantastic. I highly recommend Superior Wirework without reservation and will use them for all my electrical needs from now on.

We decided to do the work in phases rather than all at once. Dan quickly adjusted his bill to fit our immediate needs. Scheduling the work was easy and the crew Dan sent did a first rate job. We recommended Superior Wirework to our family and friends.

After calling for an estimate, Dan returned my call within 24 hrs and was able to provide me a verbal estimate followed up by a written one via email. The price was reasonable and broken out in a way that I could pick and choose the work if I wanted. The appointment window was broad but I received a call first thing that morning from the guys en-route with 1hr notice. They did a great job hanging the lights and were careful in the house while setting up the scaffolding they'd need in the vaulted foyer. They lights look great. They also were up front in how much they could do for my Nutone doorbell system - they checked power in multiple places but couldn't fully service it as it needs a certified technician with all the circuitry. Through it all they dealt with my obnoxious dog and me on calls for work.

I called the company to wire a combo switch outlet with constant power to outlet at 8AM. The job was completed by noon. Although Dan did offer to come within the next hour if it was necessary. The workers John and Jonathan were professional pleasant and efficient.

Excellent, professional service. Superior wirework team members were polite, friendly, helpful and professional. They did not stop working until I was happy with the outcome, and went above and beyond to help me. I will definitely be looking to this company for help with electrical work in the future.HIGHLY recommend!

This was a very pleasant experience. I wanted to install recessed lighting in my living room and dining room, as well as having some directional spot lights for a wall where future artwork is planned. Dan came out for an estimate to our home. For those wondering about hours, my understanding is that estimates are done between 8:30 AM to 4 PM Mon through Thurs. And Services are performed Monday through Friday. I had a rough idea what we wanted to do, and Dan was able to give us expert advise on the best available products and applications. He was very quick in responding to numerous emails and questions I had about the type of products and pricing. 50% of payment was submitted before the work began along with a signed contract. Dan sent a crew of 3 electricians. All 3 were gentleman, very polite, and very clean. They worked straight through from 9AM to 6 PM for one whole day to finish the job. As expected there were some holes in the ceiling and wall that needed to be made to run all the wiring. They did rough patching, but I'm presently looking around for a good drywall repair person to help me professionally patch it all up for a seamless look. The finished product came out very nice, and I will definitely use Superior Wirework again for my future electrical needs (lighting, generator, remodel, etc.).
