First Rate 1 Construction did an excellent job in matching the color of existing mortar when repairing stonework on the interior and exterior of my house, as well as a loose step (concrete slab) that I discovered after their estimate). They were prompt, polite, professional and friendly - and their charge was excellent.

Inserted s.s. Liner in chimney. Replaced rusted cap with s.s. Cap. Stuccoed and repainted cracks and stains. Fixed the pitch of water heater heat vent pipe.

These guys quote me way less than the previous contractors. I do not know the quality of their work, I only got an inspection done but their quote was very reasonable compared to the other guys. Customer service was great as well.

They repaired concrete steps, walkway and replaced wood connected steps to house. They were great.

things went fairly well

Initially wasn't happy with the job (some cracks in cement) but they came back the next day and redid the job. I give them an A for responsiveness - they called on Saturday and the job was done on Thursday.

With roof repair it's hard to tell right away if the repair is going to last, but in all other respects these guys were great to work with and instilled confidence. They responded quickly, got the work done, price was competitive, were nice and friendly. Couldn't ask for more.

Time will tell if the repair holds up. We have not had much rain, but if it does hold up and the work is as good as it looks on the surface, then it was well worth it. The best part of using Home Advisor was the quick and thorough response. We were called within seconds of making the request and the repair was done the very next day.
