However, their administration and treatment of their clients is
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I have spent about
$100,000 with RBVH over the last 5 years for four special needs dogs. For one dog, that would have a monthly
prescription bill of over $250/month, I have been going to a CanadaDrug
supplier, that will give the same meds at about $40/mos.
We had personally taken a script for a 3 months supply and
sent it to Canada drug. When that ran
out, CanadaDrug said they would fax a renew request to Dr. Ringel. I called both Dr. Ringel and the RBVH
pharmacy and let them know this was coming, and if there were any problems, to
please give me a call. No call, no
problems, right? WRONG.
About a week later I called CanadaDrug to verify the script
had been filled. They said, no, the Dr.
Ringel requires that you come in.
Now, that's fine, but wouldn't you think they might have the
decency to perhaps call the client and tell them that there were additional
hoops to jump through? YES, THEY SHOULD.
But don't worry, it gets worse. I call back to Dr. Ringel and left a message
explaining that we needed the refill and that it took about three weeks, so
could he please approve it and we’d schedule an appointment. No return call. CanadaDrug sent the request again – denied.
Now remember at this point, he doesn't know that I know that
he wants to see my dog again. Just no
response. So I call again two days again
explaining the need in detail, ask for him to resolve this matter, and the same
time set up an appointment for my dog.
Yet again, no response.
I call attain the very next day, and am now not quite nice,
and ask that they leave a message for Dr. Ringel in his office that he cannot
miss to please call me to resolve. NO
RESPONSE.
Finally, I call up RBVH and simply blow a gasket. Finally I get Dr. Ringel on the line. and quot;Oh, I'll do it this timeand quot;. What you needed to do was at ANY TIME make a simple response telling me what you needed.
It's clear what is really wanted here at RBVH - they want to
keep the income flow, and they take all measures to prevent you from saving
money elsewhere. UNSATISFACTORY.
