movers were on time, efficient but when I listed the move as a local move less than two miles; the truck/travel time was fixed which included $88.00 in tolls. next time I wish home advisor offered a better screen for a local company- better on the environment and the wallet

Everyone from Demetria at the office to the movers themselves.... John Dexter and Reiss were nothing less than spectacular. On time, neat, respectful, job was done sooner than expected and well within the quote. Could not ask for a smoother experience. Moving is stressfilul by itself. These guys made it a breeze!!!

When I spoke to the customer service rep., to set up the moving date, I was given a quote, and was told I'll be getting ten boxes. It wasn't made clear that those boxes were a separate price.

I do not often write reviews especially when they are positive, but I figured this company deserved the credit. I was worried about our upcoming move, and we would delayed a bit in hiring, thinking maybe we could rent an Uhaul or something. So glad we chose not to do that and instead searched for a moving company online. The entire experience was easy from the get-go with the sales representative asking exactly what we needed to be moved. I could tell that they were not entirely sure what everything would look like, and so I offered to send a video to them. After that, we got our quote (the lowest one we had received compared to any other company we reached out to in early July). Normally in July (the busiest month) jobs get canceled left and right, especially smaller ones like our apartment, but the guy on the phone promised that would not happen. Finally, moving day came and having previously worked as a mover myself during college, I thought I would watch them like a hawk, eyes on the clock (hourly rate), and kept note of the original quote. I was so relieved and surprised by the end of the day that the guys they sent moved our whole apartment much faster than we would planned, no damages whatever, and at the end, the bill came out less than the quote. How often does that happen? I usually hear it only goes up after secret fees and miscommunications, etc. But like I mentioned, the sales rep really took the time to get the exact quote, check the video I sent, and explain everything ahead of time to avoid any confusions on the day. I had no choice but to tip them well when it was over! Through and through great job guys.

Got a competitive quote for just under $600 and just after he took my card number for deposit added extra time for the bed which was not included on the original quote, and he did not confirm, moving from 2 to 1 bdrm. Then kicked up the price for wrapping glass table tops which he did not ask if any mirror or glass were involved. By the end of the move, price doubled! Did not even plan the travel time right. Don?t use them!

The main guy they sent complained a lot and was very unprofessional. I ended up moving half of the stuff myself later on - for a 1BR I ended up paying $800 and they wanted all cash towards the end. They almost doubled the original cost and did half the work. so unless you have all solid wood furniture, don't bother hiring them. the guy will complain so much and you would think you are better off doing it yourself. Once they reached the new location, they just dumped the whole thing as fast they they can, didn't assemble all parts of the bed. the legs of they couch is tilted. I ended up paying for their time till 8pm but they zoomed out at 7. Since you paid up all upfront you can't do much at the time and I decided not to bother having another conversation with the main guy. Moving is stressful and since you are paying hourly rate anyways, I don't understand why he complained so much.

These guys were fast, professional, and packed my things so well! I would definitely hire them again!

Very professional and did everything correctly

they were very professional, systematic and thorough. new trucks no breakdowns, plenty of padding for furniture, no glass lost, taped goods to hold padding in place and never saw a truck so well packed to prevent shifting of goods.

Terrible experience. They charged almost twice the initial quote, justifying it with the fact that the actual movers knew nothing about the initial quote and only go by cubic feet. Also, they shattered the TV, the slow cooker, a few plats and mugs, and a wooden TV desk. When we sent an email asking the owners to address the situation, we received a one-line reply saying *Attach is a claims form. Please file a claim for compensation.* They would not even provide a phone number to speak with someone. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

The truck was a little late and I had to pay for their tolls (I guess because they came from NJ?), but it was still worth it. The movers were friendly and worked quickly. I would use them again.

Great experience!

Northern part of company was good and careful. Florida part of company had no regard for personal property. Dumped heavy furniture on top of fragile glass and fragile items like tv's breaking things like $1000.00 coffee table which cannot be repaired or replaced and glass stemware. Florida movers were day hires and not professionals. Shocking based on cost of the move.
