Matt and Allen were absolutely professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Matt really took the time to explain what was needed and I felt very safe with. I would highly recommend this company!

Efficient

First "mason" built crooked chimney which didn't meet code (6 inches too short even after I showed him my towns code was 36" above peak), held cap on with silicone, ruined my 2 year old roof (damaged many shingles and spilled cement all over). I stopped payment and complained. They sent the same guy to fix after I specified I didn't want him to come back. They sent a second guy who redid everything, replaced some shingles but failed to remove cement all over roof. Shingles don't match originals and have now blown off leaving a hole at the peak which obviously leaks. I complained about the cement on the roof and shingles blowing off and was told they were trying to find a company to come repair. It has been almost 2 weeks now with a dozen un-answered calls and messages.

Work was done fast and clean. They did reschedule the first appointment and I had to call within the new appointment window to see if they were still coming. They gave me a time, but were early which was a problem because I was out. Not a big crisis though. I was a bit frustrated at the low quote received over the phone for a “cleaning and inspection” which ended up costing me $250 more. Felt like bait and switch. Only caveat to that is my chimney hadn’t been cleaned in about 10 years, so I expected to pay more than the quoted price anyway. I just would have preferred they were more forthcoming about that possibility

I set a window for the professional to show up and they missed it. They came on their time.

They arrived when they said they would and they got the repair done quickly. Price could have been a bit better but the important thing is the roof isn't leaking anymore.

Immediate response, walked me through their inspection, made recommendations, did the repairs on the spot. Affordable, prompt, informative. Highly recommend!

Crew worked hard in difficult conditions

Shamrock Chimney came out to our house, within one day of requesting their services. They inspected and repaired our oil burner flue the same day, with a new flue insert. The job was done quickly and professionally. They also installed a new chimney cap, and cleaned everything that needed cleaning. I would highly recommend their services, and will call on them for future chimney cleanings.

I was rather shocked a few days after the repair work was done. While cleaning up the brush from the side of the house, I discovered that the repairman simply dropped the old cement pieces in the brush and left the chunks there - without cleaning up the work.

Great job cleaning the fireplace and chimney. Did have additional work done after their recommendations. Happy with the service overall and would recommend.

It was difficult to get them to the scheduled appointment due to their policy of calling the night before to confirm. It was hard to catch the evening call (unknown number) which once missed cancelled the appointment. This happened on the first and third appointments. The second appointment was cancelled at the end of the time window due to them running behind. Finally, on the third scheduled appointment they did show up but not in the agreed upon prearranged way. The work was done quickly and professionally.
