WE called them for a chimney sweep but we had other problem bigger than that . so Mike called the company and told them so we got senior discount which was very good being only on Social security they were good showed us what they were going to install and in a couple of hours it was done all cleaned yes I would let people know if they needed them.

I would hire Shamrock again. The value was certainly there, and I feel confident they did the job I asked them to. They were also honest with me about the shape of my chimney. They were actually TOO EARLY for a job, which threw me off a little, but certainly better than being late, and I appreciated their flexibility.

I had 3 other estimates before hiring Mike and Allen to repoint my chimney.theydid such a nice job that my neighbors are going to have work done on their chimney as well.

The worked quickly and job was completed on time. Work looks great I would highly recommend them

Very professional and attentive.

I needed repairs to my chimney and the work he did made an improvement but I felt it was a little overpriced for what I got. When he came to look at the job he convinced me he was the best for the job so that s why I chose him. He was polite and when the job was done he did go over what he did. He left the job a little bit of a mess but it wasn t bad loose mortar on the ground. I might use them for any future jobs I might have but the price has to be right. - Mike C.

spoke over the phone the same dsy thst my project was posted. setbup an appointment gor the following week. Needed repair work done ti my stone wall. recieved a call back this week to let me know thst a technician would be in my area the following day, between 11am and 2pm received a follow up call the next day around 12pm. telling me a tech. was in his way and should be there with in 30mins. Matt,wasst my door with in 30 mins. loooked at the wall we agreed on a price. and he did the repairs and was finished in no time. Very nice youngman. Very pleased with work that was done. Would recommend . And hire again. Thanks again,

Given 0.5 because you have to pick something. Very expensive for minimal work and materials. After multiple schedules we finally got Shamrock out for a quote. High pressure sales leading me to believe that I was being given 3 discounts, (military, AARP, and same day discounts) total BS, original quote to repoint sections, repair a cracked chimney cap, seal chimney and flashing. Quoted $3,900, but if I agreed to same day price would be adjusted to $3,300. Agreed to do job, felt highly pressured and knowing nothing about masonry work, felt I would go with the same day quote. Both workers left at 8:45 to get supplies; returned at 11:45, one man up on ladder, the other retrieved to the truck for a 2-hour nap, we called Shamrock after my husband came home and obviously startled the sleeping worker in the truck @ 2:45. We asked that both workers leave, Shamrock insisted on talking to the worker in the truck, he was very adamant and blamed my husband for getting him in trouble with his boss. He did pop up onto the roof after a conversation with his boss, then both workers were off the roof, ladder packed back up and out of the driveway by 3:45. Ridiculous, I called Shamrock and stated I was going to file complaints with both state of NY and MA attorney generals offices as well as BBB. $3,300 for one worker working possibly 3 hours the other perhaps an hour. Seriously scammed and I did not feel this was fair or equitable. After deliberation with Shamrock, and the promise to send another worker out to fix our chimney (but again never called or showed) we stated we wanted nothing more to do with Shamrock, they did refund us back $1,000 that afternoon, We have never dealt with a company with what we feel are deceptive sales practices. I would highly recommend you do not do business with these people. Very uncomfortable dealing with workers, unprofessional, and we feel we got scam.

Fast service and reasonably priced.

This was a repair of 2 chimneys. Mike and his crew were very nice, professional and the work looks very good (although I have yet to test for leaks on a rainy day, but I don't expect to have any). The only criticism I have is that I had 2 appointments (for the estimate and for the work) and they were late both times and did not call to let me know that they were delayed...I had to call them to follow up. That said, I would still recommend them overall.

They came promptly, completed the job with contact with me in another state. The end product of the job looks great.

I used them for a home purchase chimney inspection. They accommodated the date and time. They were professional, took pictures and provided a written estimate for a flue liner. If i get the home i will use them for the repair.

Guys communicated what time they would show up. Checked out the job Put 2 covers up charged me $300 And left. They were very professional and did a nice job.

Some confusion with dispatch over arrival times for quote and work. Workers were very careful of protecting plantings near work area. Generallly pleased with work completed.

They are a very professional business. Jen is the assistant and she always kept in touch with me to keep me updated as to what time they would be coming. I would definitely recommend this company and would definitely use them again!!
