Great service and Evan and Tommy are very knowledgable.

While they were very quick to schedule an appt., they were a little slow to show up. They did cap the chimney (all I really wanted), they gave me a rather expensive quote for doing additional work that a local stove person said he didn't see the need for. There are several more local companies that I wish I had used.

Extremely expensive for what they did in less than an hour and I still can?t convince the towns building inspector that the chimney was actually cleaned based on the paperwork.

They repointed our chimney. Redid all of the flashing and installed a new stainless steel liner to replace the old, crumbling clay lining from basement to the caps in two days. Great job. Good value.

They put up my new chimney cap in July. In October a piece of it fell off. I have called nine times to get someone to come back. STILL WAITING!!!

Great customer service

I had a fantastic experience with Shamrock. From Jen on the phones scheduling, to Matt and Charlie quoting, to Fred and Charlie fixing my chimney. The company was super fast and the crew explained everything to me. Fred and Charlie are absolute artists when it comes to making a horrendous chimney look lovely (and stay safe!) it was the hottest, most miserable day possible, but they worked through it and made sure everything was done perfectly and cleaned thoroughly afterwards. I will continue to use the company for chimney cleanings from here on out!

CROOK COMPANY, DO NOT HIRE THEM. Do not HIRE them, because, after they take your money they will not respond to your warranty. They did the job on the chimney and after I paid them, a few months after I have other workers come out and clean my gutters they said that my chimney is falling apart, in the roof, when it was just repaired by this company. I called them a few times. Spoke to someone named Jen, she said that she is the wife of the owner and kept on saying will call me back. Never called me. Never responded to my calls. It is the busy time of the year, I would understand if she is busy, but, if she can call me back, I would expect her to! But, never calls me back. Crook company, DO NOT HIRE them besides, they charged me 4,500 dollars on their LOUSY JOB!

This was the only company to have someone actually answer the phone. The others I had to leave message.

The guys were very nice, didn quick and clean work. They notified me about some potential future issues with my chimney and gave me a quote but we re not pushy about doing the work. I will use them again in the future for cleaning and repair.

The two workers were very helpful in explaining the work and showing me pictures of the before or after of the work.

Jen was courteous and efficient in the phone conversations. The worker came promptly for the estimate and called if there needed to be any changes. The work was done on time. Thank you!

Hired Joseph and Daniel to replace crumbling terracotta lining in one chimney, repair a chimney crown, and seal flashing on both chimneys. I originally hired them just to inspect one of my fireplaces and both chimneys since I just purchased the home and knew of the cracked crown and brittle flashing seal. Joseph found the crumbling terracotta lining in one of my chimneys and explained what would happen if it wasn't fixed. Every step of the way Joseph explained how things should have been done previously, the proper way to do things, and gave me options without being the least bit pushy or trying to "sell" me. He even kind of talked me out of getting work done on one of my fireboxes because of the price it would cost when things were not quite bad enough to warrant it yet, and explained options I could do myself in the meantime and the drawbacks to each. He also showed me photos and stopped a few times during their work to make sure I was aware of what they were currently doing. Talking to them felt like a family friend was doing the work rather than a business, and the seal on the flashing alone made things look almost new. They take pride in their work and it shows. I will certainly be using them again if anything arises with my chimneys or fireplaces.
