Arctic Air Conditioning

I can't say any more about this company and the technician, Christian Vance, who came out to deal with our unfortunate situation. They responded a few hours after I called and were early for their scheduled time. Mr. Vance was extremely polite, knowledgeable and quick when swapping out condensate pumps. He also took the time to answer any questions I had and showed me what he was doing. I will be using this company without hesitation in the future as well as recommending them to family and friends.

Arctic Air was great! They arrived on time, completed the job nicely, and very attentive to our needs. They did contract out for the Insulation but we were warned of that ahead of time. Due to their expertise we saved a lot of money and even qualified for a 10 year interest free loan.

I used Arctic Heating & Air and I would never use anybody else that's how wonderful they are.

Air Conditioning Repair. We had originally called C&C and felt like I was being pushed into buying a new unit. Our current AC is only 5 years old! My brother said to call Artic and boy are we glad we did! There was just a part that needed to be replaced-no leak as C&C said. It was fixed in no time. Thank you Artic for your honesty, professionalism and great work! So glad we called and wouldn't hesitate to use you again!

Excellent work. Superior craftsmanship. All of the metal work was custom made on site. Sales process was not high pressure and the price was significantly better than 2 other highly recommended Companies in the area. I now see why Arctic Air has received as many accolades as they have.

My AC stopped working so I called for repair. (No air from the vent and no fan outside) Scheduled smoothly and I was told the trip fee covers the labor for the first half hour. The staff arrived on time and started working immediately in my attic where the equipment is. He is very professional and fixed a wire that got disconnected in 20 minutes. So I only paid trip fee. I was very satisfied with the whole process and won't be hesitate to hire them again in the future!

The were very prompt in quoting the job. After I signed the contract they showed up on time, every time. They were very professional and courteous. They completed all the work with high quality. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after they were done. They took the time to explain everything I needed to know about the new system.

The technician arrived on time and immediately entered the attic to evaluate the problem. The pan below the attic unit was full of water and the serviceman carried three buckets of water down from the attic. He also added a union to allow for easier clearing of the line which was clogged. He worked quickly and in about an hour the problem was solved. The serviceman was courteous and proficient. I plan on having Arctic Air Conditioning service my air conditioner and boiler in the future.

One night I found my air condition leaking condensation water. I just moved into a new house and had no idea what the history of this ac unit was . Called Arctic Air Conditioning and they gave me an appointment the next day, which was a Saturday. The technician called about 30 minutes befor he arrived and was within the agreed time window. I explained the situation and the tech immediately seemed to know what the issue was: A clogged drainage pipe. He could have told me whatever he wanted, but he gave me the true reason and it only ended up taking 30 minutes to fix it. I definitely will use Artic Air Conditioning again in the future.

Vendor represented the AC unit sold to me was top of the line in quality and met all the SEER, EER requirements to be eligible for energy savings rebate from both the state and federal agencies. Vendor acknowledged when the job was completed on the proposal invoice which I paid in full that they would forward all appropriate paper work required by the state and federal agencies to secure all rebates for me July, August 2013 I provided additional info they requested regarding the Heating System specs because the SEER / EER rating of the heating system is combined with the AC specs to provide an overall SEER/EER rating for the rebate. Several inquiries were emailed to the vendor requesting the status of the rebates from August, 2013 thru May, 2013. The vendor never responded which made no sense to me. Their avoidance of the issue, i.e. their lack of a response which in it's context seemed so simple made absolutely no sense to me. I played a hunch and called Lennox, the Manufacturer. I provided both model #'s and serial #'s of the Heating and AC units. The hunch payed off. The SEER/EER rating of the New AC unit sold and installed for me by Arctic Air Conditioning DID NOT in fact meet the minimum SEER/EER ratings to be eligible for the energy rebate. Arctic Air conditioning misrepresented and sold me a bogus AC unit which did not meet the SEER/EER requirements to be eligible for the energy savings rebate. The AC unit alone did not meet the minimum SEER/EER requirements for the rebate and when combined with the heating system specs fell short as well to be eligible for the rebate.

Just had a complete HVAC system replacement. New A/C unit, furnace, air filter, humidifier. These guys are very professional. Dave came out a few days ago and performed a complete evaluation of my old system and went over every possible option for new equipment. They promptly scheduled me just a few days later. They showed up at 8:00 am with 3 guys and two more guys later I'm the day. Super polite, friendly and professional. They laid out drop cloths and even took their shoes off when coming in from working outside. The resulting work was perfection. Every wire, tube and pipe was run to such perfection it looks like a work of art. They accommodated every request and answered all of my questions. When they were finished they cleaned up everything. Then they reviewed the full installation with me. Everything was done exactly as they promised and quoted. I would very highly recommend Arctic Air to anyone who needs HVAC work!!!

We had our AC system replaced as well as installed a new ductless system in our den. The Artic AC team was great. They came in and took care if the job as promised. Their professionalism and customer service was outstanding. They listened to my concerns and went out of way to answer all my questions and made the whole process so easy.

Our air conditioner died the day before I was having 12 people for Passover. When I called Arctic Air to schedule a service call I was told they couldn't be there until the next afternoon, about the same time I was having my guests. Because I was desperate, I said that even though I was having 12 people for Passover the same time, I'd take it. When she heard that, she immediately tried to arrange something and gave me an after hours service call that same night! I was thrilled with her response to my situation. We were prepared to hear we needed a new central air conditioning unit, since our unit was old and had several issues in the past. The service call was prompt, extremely courteous and professional. The technician discovered three burnt out wires that he easily replaced and our air conditioner was working again. We were thrilled with the outcome ad the cost. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing this service.

Their salesman "Mike" came 3 times to my house over 14 months period to give an estimate for AC installation. Every time he promised to email me the estimate. He confirmed my email address and I never received anything from him.

Scheduling an appointment was easy. Ross came over, checked the current hvac system and provided options and estimates for new HVAC systems as well as financing options through HD. Installation went smoothly as technicians were punctual, courteous and professional.

Arctic was great. Ross stopped by and gave me a very fair estimate. He took the time to explain all my options and made sure all my questions were answered. There were others in the same ballpark but I liked the fact that they were backed by HD and that gave me piece of mind. Ross even threw in a nice add on to sweeten the deal. Installation was completed in one day with no problems.

They had an excellent rating on Angie’s List. Scheduling was no problem, they were out within a day or so. Their pricing was reasonable. I was very pleased with their service. We also used them to check our furnace this winter.

After getting a few quotes because we needed a new air conditioner unit and furnace we decided to call Arctic Air for one more quote because of all of the great ratings here on Angie's list. What we didn't expect that the person coming to do our quote would be Ross the owner. From the moment he walked in he put us at ease and we knew we weren't going to be getting a hard sell salesman. Ross was upfront and honest about our needs and was forthcoming and patient in answering our questions. We learned allot that morning. He gave us a better price from what we had gotten previously and the units he was giving us were on par with our needs as well as met our expectations. He gave us a great interest free financing deal and told us about the tax rebates we would get. You've really got to meet Ross to understand that he is the type of man that you really believe is going to do the right thing for you. He inspired our confidence enough that we signed a contract that morning. The following week his guys showed up right on time and everything was done the same day as he had promised. My wife was home alone and she told me that the workers that came to the house were respectful, clean, timely and took the time to show her everything and answer all of her questions. When I got home that night you would never be able to tell that any work had been done save for the beautiful new unit in the basement. When I called a few weeks later to ask a few questions about the rebates the people in the office (Kathy I think?) were nice and polite and gave me all of the information I requested. This is a first class organization and the reviews on here allow you to clearly see that. I would highly recommend Arctic Air to anyone.

We contacted Arctic when we learned we would need a township inspection for the CO. Since the work was done several years ago, none of us could recall why an inspection wasn't done at the time. Nevertheless, Arctic returned, assessed the installation, made a minor repair (extending a drain pipe), and then handled the necessary paperwork needed to get the Township to approve the installation. They did this as a matter of course, considering it part of the original job. They accepted responsibility without question. They kept us informed throughout the process. And everything was done as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The price was outstanding compared to the competition. Howard was a straight shooter and knew his stuff. All went exactly as planned. All techs were courteous, efficient and trust worthy. Could not ask for a better crew. There was one small issue which was resolved quickly and above expectation ***This is where a contractor shows there true color and Arctic was GOLD! The office - Cathy and Susan did a great job with all the permits and rebate paperwork. All was done on time and above expectation. Everything is working perfectly and my heating Bills are substantially lower. Adjusting my thermostat using my Iphone & ipad is great. This is one of the best contractor experiences I have had.

The boiler they replaced was 50 years old. They were very responsive to my needs, and I was impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, demeanor, punctuality, etc. I had about seven estimates for the work, and aside from Arctic's price being very competitive, they were also the only company that said they could do the entire job in one day (and they did). Additionally, they did the job one business day after my signing the agreement. Overall, I was very pleased with them, and would definitely recommend them.

Our unit runs like it is brand new. I am very glad I didn't decide to replace entire unit. This is the 2nd time I used Arctic Air and I was equally satisfied the last time I used their services. It is nice to have a reliable company you can trust. I originally called Arctic Air based on reviews I read on this Angie's List site.

Called the provider's number to request an estimate and was told the person who gives estimates would be back in a few hours. I did not receive a call back. I called several days later and a receptionist answered and I explained I was waiting for a call back. I was told the person who gives estimates had just returned from vacation and would need a few days before calling me back. At this point several more days have passed with no call back.

I was given a time window of 2pm-4pm. When four o'clock showed up and still no ARTIC AIR I called up to complain and was told that the tech was on his way. Well another hour rolled by and by then I was absolutely livid but kept my composure. I called up and was told once again that the tech was on his way. Well it is all about professionalism to me and if you know that your are going to be late then notify the customer. I had things to get done myself but waited around for this tech. I canceled and will never go with this company again.
