Decided that the humidistat's location was better than the thermostat's location so it was left there. There was not enough wires to change the way the thermostat was controlling the furnace, so it was left the way it was. I appreciate that Dan answered all my questions.

Excellant - I called Arctic Air on Jan 25, 2017 at 4 pm and they were able to get someone out to my home on the same day by 7 pm. Fred, the Technician quickly identified the problem, although the replacement part (High Limit Switch) needed to be ordered, Arctic Air contacted me the next day around 8am to advise me they had the part for my Furnance. Arctic Air was very accommodating to my schedule. The Technician, Fred Bielaeski arrived at my home on Jan 26, promptly at 5pm, as requested .he installed the part and ensured the Furnace was throughly functioning before leaving. The professionalism of everyone I encountered at Arctic Air was refreshing. Jessica in the office was fantastic also. Everyone I encountered at Arctic Air treated my concerns like it was their own and addressed my issues promptly. Thank You Arctic !

Great service, very professional and friendly

I use them twice a year. They cleaned the machine and they serviced the machine, makes sure it’s running right. The heats on or whatever season it is. They’re very good. I have been using him 20 or 30 years. They’re always on time, do a fantastic job and they’re very nice. Price very good, excellent. I’ve been using him for 30 years, that’s the only person I use.

They come twice a year. They come in the Winter and they did the Fall. They come in the Spring and turn on everything for the Summer. They come Fall & Spring. I have been using them for 30/40 years already. They’re great! That is all I use, is them.

They recommended replace oversized high efficiency furnace & ac installed about 3 years ago by previous owner, new hot water heater, and detailed insulation program along with some other maintenance items for about $14k. Only chose Arctic because of two employees (the salesperson being one of them) they hired from C&C. Not from any recommendations. After they got my ok they subsequently fired my friend. I cancelled the contract. Working with C & C to reestimate and reprice the job. The owners made no effort to save the job. Assuming from the lack of caring this job was not big enough for them to make any effort. The salesperson was professional and thorough. Still getting letters coming to my house 3 months later to cancel permits meant to go to Hazlet township. Made several attempt to tell them of the mistake but letters kept coming, one asking me to pay for the permit.

The process of obtaining quote from MIKE KOWAL was very straighforward and to the point. The quote was very competitive. The finalization, scheduling and installation process with Arctic Air was fairly smooth. Post installation had minor anticipated technical hiccups but the responsiveness to those events from Arctic Air was very skillful and professional. Would like to point out that a technician SAL from the company who came to fix the issue later was extremely competent and professional to resolve the the work in hand. All in all had a good experience working with this company.

They replaced the air conditioner and furnace, when we had discovered that we had a problem with the air conditioner. I have worked with them about every six months for several years.

I was initially a bit frustrated because after buying the Angie's List coupon, they never reached out to me to schedule, and didn't reply to messages sent via Angie's List regarding scheduling. HOWEVER, when I finally got around to just picking up the phone and calling them, it was a wonderful experience from that point forward. Scheduling over the phone was easy and they were very courteous. On the day of the appointment, Sal showed up on time and was SO kind and professional. He was very sweet and friendly with our kids too, which says a lot about a person! He was clean and had covers on his shoes, and didn't complain about having to go into our gross crawl space to get the job done. Overall it was a really pleasant experience and I 100% recommend them to anyone needing any work with cooling or heating... just be sure to call them instead of reaching out on here :)

Tom the salesman who I made an appointment with for an estimate was rude and unprofessional. He asks "do you want the house to be energy efficient?" Now, this may sound dumb but don't we all. No, Tom I want an inefficient energy system installed because that is usually a great idea. Well, when I said do want to stay on budget he says "oh well I have to tell my colleague salesman NOT TO COME FINISH the estimate." Apparently, if I dont' want to go above my budget I don't get a real estimate performed. Well Tom, did a quick estimate and gave me a price of $27,000. No details of what this entails. When I said that is outrageous for a house of this size I was told to go get other quotes then. I NEVER leave reviews on Angies list, but this experience was the worst of my life, I felt compelled to let the other Angies list members in my area know that they should STEER CLEAR of this company. Most vendors tell you that they want to work with your budget (btw saying you want to stay on budget does not mean we were not willing to spend a significant sum to do a complete overhaul.) but apparently Tom got offended when a little lady wasnt going to be suckered.

Tech found two possible problems quickly. Intake filter (in house) seriously blocked. I'd thought it was a blower and never changed the filter. Possible low coolant pressure, verified next day and corrected. Tech was competent and knowledgeable and easy to work with. Tech had to check for clear drainage of catch basin and other possibilities. The AC had not been serviced for many years, I am a new owner of the apartment. The cost of service, as reported in the panel below, includes $120 for the refilling of the coolant (a proper price for its level). The tech took the time to explain to me what I needed to do in the future.

It went ok. Needed to get a dehumidifier for my basement.

This is a great company and great group of people who know what they are doing. They went out of their way to make everything go smoothly. From start Connor was great to deal with, he was knowledgeable and provided several options that we were able to consider. The installation was done to perfection with the installers testing our home as they would their own, with respect. We went with the Savegreen program offered through our utility company and all the paperwork was taken care of by arctic air. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get work done to their HVAC systems.

Can't say enough good things about them, they are top notch and extremely helpful. They make sure you are satisfied with the work and go out of the way to correct any issues. The owners and service manager (Herb) make sure all is well. I wish all business's I deal with are as professional and understanding as they were.
