I found Arctic Air Conditioning via the NJ Clean Energy website as they are a certified contractor for the NJ Clean Energy Home Performance Program. I researched the program before hand and knew that the energy efficient rebates (up to 4K) and financing (0% for 7 years) would be perfect for me. Arctic thoroughly accessed my home, this included examining the current equipment, calculating the size/area of the house, and took the time to discuss any issues I was currently having. The technician explained everything, answered all my questions, and let me know about the Home Performance program and how equipment has improved over the years. What I really like was that they didn't just want to replace my system, they took additional time to test my existing system to see how everything was working - this critical step showed that I was not getting enough return air for the system to run properly. Very quickly after the assessment I received their proposal which included a few different levels of equipment to match different budget levels. I also got quotes from two other contractors, but neither offered options, they seemed to offer standard packages regardless of the size of house. I chose to install a 96% efficient two stage HVAC system with 3 ton AC, a power vented 50 gallon high efficient water heater, an interactive digital thermostat with tons of settings/schedules/reporting, and adding additional insulation in the attic along with sealing any gaps/spaces in the attic floor. They also suggested an additional return to ease the system. Scheduling was effortless, and the workers arrived on time to begin the install. All the workers were excellent, they were nice, worked clean, installed everything perfectly, and they completed the job fast! I am very cautious with people working on my house, nobody cares as much about my home as me, so I was very relieved that these guys were total professionals. The new system is so quiet, looks good, and works perfectly. In the end, I am very glad I found Arctic, this project went as smooth as possible. I look forward to using Arctic to service my equipment in the future and have great confidence that they will continue to impress me... there is a reason that this company has been around for 41 years!

I got an appointment for early the morning after I reported the problem. Technician in the designated window and fixed the problem immediately. He also made sure that any of our concerns were addressed before leaving. He was able to explain in basic terms and display to us why our concerns were unwarranted.

Could not have asked for better service; from my initial phone call to job completion and follow up- SAL was so very kind and worked so efficiently- I highly recommend this company and would call them again immediately if needed! They were courteous, prompt and more than fair with their pricing!!

Another AC company told us we had mold in our unit and in our ducts, so I called Arctic to schedule a 2nd opinion quote. Mark advised that they couldn't get anyone out to do the actual replacement work until the end of the summer/September, but when I told him we had a newborn in the house, he immediately suggested I look into having someone clean the ducts, and he recommended two companies I should reach out to. He took the time to look up their phone numbers, and he told me what each company specialized in, so I'd know what to ask for. If it turns out my AC unit eventually needs to be replaced, I'll be coming to Arctic- their legitimate care for my family's health was second to none. Thank you Mark!

It was a pleasure to work with Arctic Air. Alex was the salesperson who was our initial contact. He listened to what we wanted and then provided two alternatives that he felt would suit our needs. He knew his products and made reasonable suggestions for our home. He was helpful and never pushy. When we chose Arctic Air to do the job, we were pleased with the quick turnaround time. Ours was a two-day installation, and our crew of two (Matt and Connor) were the best. They arrived on time and worked without breaks to get the job done. They are a great team! You could tell that they knew what they were doing. They work well together. When done, they walked us through the installation and helped us to understand the nuances of the new system. In the end, work was done as promised and on time. I would be happy to recommend Arctic Air for their professionalism and service.

The tech, Jesse Evert, arrived on time. I was able to follow his arrival progress on Google maps; that was pretty cool. He was friendly and offered several tips on the maintenance of my system. Also, Arctic Air installed a new Lennox HVAC system 2 years ago, and I'm saving money with that.

arctic air came fast and installed it next day

I have an excellent experience with this company. I have used them to get new hvac in my old house and used them again when I got the new hvac in new house. The team is made of thorough professionals who do right by their customers. My system sends alerts to them as well as me. They called scheduled an appointment, diagnosed the problem, came back with the part and fixed the heat. All on same day. I have referred them to many of my friends.

The tech Kyle arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. Did a routine maintenance of the heating system.

Service rep came promptly. Checked the furnace and diagnosed the problem (pump not working). Replaced the pump and we had heat,

Heating went out on one of January's coldest days. I called Arctic and made an appointment for the following day since they were booked. The office called within an hour and said they could come out immediately. The technician spent over two hours and got the heat going so we could survive the weekend. Ross came out that day and we arranged purchase and installation of a new heating and air conditioning system. The team worked inside and out, through ice and snow and did a wonderful job.
