Ben showed up when he said he would. Took what I asked him to take and did it on time and very professionally. I've used Ben (BVL) before and I'll use them again. They make getting rid of junk easy and clean. This is not usually a professional business, but Ben exceeds expectations with a courteous and professional staff. He removed more than I originally bought with the deal and his price for the overage was very fair.

Professionally done all the way. Process was simple and straightforward. Ben and his team respected my property and left no trace of debris. A pleasure to work with, on time and efficient. Ben and his men showed up on time, immediately went to work, removed all the items that we had agreed on, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. They were incredibly efficient and hard working. I would definitely use them again and would certainly recommend them to others.

I didn’t like them very much. I didn’t trust them and I think they may have taken a few things impassively for themselves. I was not pleased with their attitude at any rate. I don’t think they were professional. I had to watch their every move. I don't think I will use them again.

Did an excellent job, was on time and very clean. Had my kitchen ceiling painted and kitchen walls.

There were some troubles with having him out here. We kept in touch through email and there were scheduling issues. The work he did was excellent though.

This was a deal I purchased several months ago in anticipation of later use. I recently called to schedule the pickup. They were easy to reach, responsive, and pleasant to deal with. On the date of service they came promptly and removed the stuff. They were polite, professional, and I would definitely use them again.

I bought a Big Deal for the walkway job from Angie's List. Due to repeated schedule delays followed by winter weather, the job was not done by the end of 6 months at which time the Big Deal money reverts to the Contractor whether or not the work was performed for the Customer. Ben was perfect gentleman who honored the Big Deal even after the 6 months expiry. He did a fine technical job and I am satisfied. Thanks Ben.

Ben did a good job at communicating throughout the planning and execution of the project. I purchased a deal on Angie's List for 100sq ft of concrete sidewalk removal and replacement. I heard from Ben immediately to begin talking about details and setting up a meeting to show him the project. Ben was always prompt, thorough, and professional. Once we determined the details of the job, Ben worked with my town to get the needed permits. Anytime I had any questions, I was able to call, text, or email Ben and got a quick response (typically same day). That made the process so much easier. Ben and his crew showed up promptly the day we set for the job. First day was demolition and removal. The crew did a thorough job. I wasn't around the next day for the pouring of the concrete. I came back after the concrete had set and the forms were removed. The site was completely cleaned up, no problems. The new sidewalk and driveway apron are great and met all my goals for the job. What a relief it was to come home to a cleaned site and a job well done to my expectation.

Everything went well. It was a small job, but there were several heavy and awkward items which he handled very well.

We had some communication issues and construction the town has scheduled interfered greatly. Very friendly and courteous and the job was done on-time. It is not nearly as attractive as the rendering I gave him but it is functional and we may have someone else to attempt to alter the pads to make them more attractive, like the rendering.

They did a good job. I was very happy. The workers were fine. They were very courteous and accommodating. They came in and did the job and left. It didn't take too long. There was nothing they could have done differently.

Gave overall best estimate. Much less than a national chain. Arrived when they said. Did the job and cleaned up driveway area. Would definitely use them again for hauling.

Work was never performed. I was supposed to receive a call back but never did, total waste of money.

Ben was extremely patient with me about the design of my patio. They worked with a lot of skill and they cleaned up after the job , left we with a beautiful patio ready to enjoy. I can't re comment them enough, wonderful experience.

I met with Ben on a Monday night to discuss replacing my existing concrete curved front walkway. During our discussion he told me that I would not qualify for his Big Deal as he needed to dig down deeper in order to pour my walkway properly. I didn?t argue, I wasn?t looking for a bargain; I was looking for a quality job. Before I received the final proposal on Tuesday, Ben called asking if we could have him do the job that week, that it would help him out to string together several smaller jobs in my neighborhood. I agreed. On Wednesday they came to demo the old walkway. I was told that they would do the form work on Thursday and pour on Friday. But no one showed on Thursday and when I called Ben he told me that it would be silly to come twice ? they?ll form on Friday morning before the pour. All the work took place while I was at work that Friday. When I came home I was very disappointed with results. Turns out, Ben was not on the job site for the form work or the pour. For some reason, my curved walkway was turned into an angled walkway. This was very confusing since the original walk was already cut and dug as a curved walkway. It looks unprofessional and terrible. Whoever from BVL did the form work either didn?t know how to form a curve or just didn?t care. To make matters worse, the angle joints formed with the 2x4 forms weren?t tight or clean, and they left rough-angle unfinished surfaces. Also, in one section perhaps they patched an area after the pour on the surface where it should have been smooth-tooled, because there?s a lump of darker material that is rough and whose color doesn?t match the rest of the walkway. When I finally met Ben at my house on Friday evening and discussed these issues, he agreed with my assessment but offered me no remedy to make it right. Earlier in the week I had also asked Ben to be very mindful of the beds and grass. He told me that of course he would. But they didn?t. They either spilled dry concrete or cleaned their tools on my grass and in my flower beds as I have several large burned out areas due to concrete. So, I contracted for a quality replacement for my curved walkway and ended up with a mediocre angled walkway with several large burned out areas on my lawn, concrete in a flower bed, and concrete stains on my driveway.

They were out of an agressive price, very communicative, did exactly what they said they were going to do, no complaints whatsoever.

These guys were so patient with me! Right from the start they contacted me several times to do the pick-up. When I wasn't finished cleaning out my basement in the fall, they patiently waited through the winter. I finally got the debris out of the basement one weekend and they were there within a week to pick it up. I'm sure they would have hauled it from my basement too; but, putting it outside allowed me to go to work and presto! it was gone when I got home. You would have never known it had been there..nice clean-up! I would definitely use them again.

Ben and his co-worker were professional and got right to work, there were no problems with the service provided. I would not hesitate to call BVL again.
