Over the phone, Sam provided recommendations in advance when preparing for the move and gave me a conservative quote (the final bill ended up being less than expected). The movers were friendly, professional, expeditious, and most importantly careful with packing and moving my things. They also had no problem using the packing materials I had provided. The crew did a fantastic job! I was so impressed with how quickly they moved my stuff from my house to my new apartment! They got it done in just 3 hours! They were professional and nothing got damaged in the move even with a couple antiques, a big mirror, and 2 televisions! The moving day happened to be the worst storm of the year and they knocked it out of the park. A crew of three couldn't have been better and even needed to take a window out to get our couches down to the truck. 5/5 and would use them again in a heartbeat.

This company is awful!! They did thousands of dollars in damage, and offered only $125 in compensation. After six months, we have yet to see their insult of a check. The furniture was supposed to be wrapped in blankets but was not. We now have dings and scratches in almost every piece. They broke things and even left items behind in the old house. They threw items in the storage unit but when I asked them to be more careful, the crew said, "Good stack. We do good stack." DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

Very professional service. The best we have used so far. Communication was good. On time delivery. Drivers/ movers were nice, fast, professional and on time with warning. They gave a realistic window for delivery time so didn’t have to be home all day. All in all, I would definitely recommend this company. Oh and it was 100 degrees and humid and they had a heavy job to do. Thank you.

This company and the brokerage company United moving express work together to extort you for more money they day of your move. They move half your things on the truck then claim to need more money because it is taking more space than your original contract, and they wont move the rest of your stuff on the truck unless you pay what they ask for. DO NOT HIRE

First of all I did not know it was third-party. The first company I spoke with was United which I thought was the actual moving company so I paid them 1700 upfront then was told later that A&S would be the actual people moving my furniture. The price changed four times, they were late picking up the furniture, half of the items that were supposed to get wrapped did not. They had to come back the next day just to get four items that could not fit on the first truck causing me to lose a day of my travel time. Yes they stored the items for 30 days because I did not have an address for them right away, but once I gave them the address and a delivery date, they then informed me that they had up to 30 days to deliver from the delivery date I gave them (my first time hearing this) I had to get a lawyer, but thank God I didn?t have to go through the process of court and such. I did end up getting my items about a week later with little damage. Would not ever recommend!

We used A&S Packers and Movers for a full house pack and move. We have never had a smoother move. Everyone on the crew was so nice; The owner was part of the crew along with 3 other wonderful guys. They had the best attitude and were extremely careful the whole time. They wrapped both houses in protective wrapping, blanketed corners and covered floors to prevent damage. It took a fraction of the time I thought it would. He even came by our house and took away our empty boxes and moving debris (plus some extra) 2 weeks after our move. If I could give a 6th star I would! 🙏🏻

They seamlessly handled the logistics of a challenging move, with a slow elevator on one end and a narrow staircase on the other, so that the whole process was fast and efficient. No, they were very late and they wrecked my car moving it, and they will not take responsibility for it so I am filing a lawsuit against them. They not only wrecked it, but they spray-painted where they wrecked it with a can of spray paint which ended up costing more so not only on my phone in the lawsuit my insurance company?s gonna sue them.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY - they have lied from the start of the transaction. We agreed to a delivery of March 27 2025, agreed to their price and straight delivery method. They are currently holding our items hostage. Lofton and Matthew will lie to you about every part of the move. We kept all text messages, recorded phone calls and voicemails to prove their fraudulent activities. Once confronted, Matthew and Lofton refuse to speak with us and continually hold our items hostage. We have medical, life saving equipment that was set to be delivered today 100-% paid for, though they lied and continually push the delivery date back. They don?t tell you this until you?ve signed your contract, they don?t accept credit cards or debit cards for pickup or delivery! Imagine that, cash, Zelle etc only. There?s a reason for that. The most unprofessional, unethical, fraudulent moving company I?ve had the disdain of working with. We will be taking legal action, along with contacting the BBB.

These movers are amazing! I moved from a third-floor apartment to a new place across the city, and they made it look effortless. The team was punctual, polite, and so careful with my belongings. They even disassembled and reassembled my bed frame without any issues. I was especially impressed with how they navigated the narrow staircases at both locations.
