We have had the product a short time so we can not be sure how well it's really going to work. We had 2 very wet snows right after having the LeafFilters product installed and it did not shed the show like they promised. However, we think it will do good job of performing its primary function which is to keep debris out of the gutters so that they stay clean and flow well. There definitely was a problem with the salesman being overly aggressive with his promises and his sales pitch. For instance, he told us that every one involved in the process was a company employee. Instead of a crew showing up in a company truck as we expected based on his promises, one guy who was a subcontractor showed up in his own mini van inadequately equipped. They swore they had all the proper licenses and insurance but we question whether the subcontractor did in fact meet these standards. By the time he arrived and had his ladder against the house, it was a little difficult to raise that issue. Time will tell. Although they did not require payment of any kind until the work was finished which is obviously a big positive. On the other hand, we would not have received a copy of the bill if we did not have our own copy machine and asked to make a copy. The installer further upset us by making us fill out his survey before he left about the quality of his work which obviously we could not judge at that point particularly as he finished after dark due to not having arrived until after 11 in the morning. He claimed if we didn't fill out the survey he wouldn't get paid. Again on the positive side, we have to say that corporate management in Ohio seemed very responsive to our comments and we actually talked to a real living vice president. In conclusion, we would say the problem may all lie with bad regional management but the experience was definitely uneven. Sort of akin to going to a restaurant with an uneven experience.
