Very well. They did excellent prep work.

They arrive on time daily 4 days, stayed late to complete job. Cleaned up continuously. Very responsible and did a fantastic job.

I can not say enough good things about Monk's. I called to inquire about doing some work on my commercial building and a representative arrived at the building the next day. We discussed what I wanted done, and he asked relevant questions and made further suggestions. I received a detailed estimate promptly and scheduled the work shortly after. They were prompt, showing up on the appointed day to begin work and were very professional. Not only did they do a spectacular job (and threw in a small detail which I had not thought of until work had started...at no additional cost), but when the work was completed to my great satisfaction, you could not tell that anyone had been there except for the much improved condition of my building. By this, I mean that they cleaned up every aspect of their work so there was not a nail, a scrap of wood, not so much as a footprint left after they were gone. I have already spoken to Monk's about doing work at my home and would highly recommend them for projects such as the one they completed for me. Very fair price also.

Monk's did a great job! Everything went quickly and smoothly. Basement looks great. Bill Bukner quickly addressed some of the minor issues we had along the way. The electricians and plumbers they used were excellent.

Our new kitchen is beautiful! Melissa helped us through the design and Bill and his boys made it happen, offering us solutions that fit our family's needs. They always left our home cleaner than when they got there and finished before they projected that they would. Our project manager, Bill, communicated with us constantly and made what we thought would be a huge disruption to our lives, a painless experience. Every inspection and trade was scheduled and monitored by Bill; we never had to take off work. I have already recommended Monks to others, and will continue to do so. Excellent craftsmanship and professional service.

Wonderful! My house looks like new! The crew was meticulous in their work and incredibly professional. It was the first time I have ever done work on my house where I could truly work from home and take calls. They were THAT quiet! This was my first time using Monks but their reputation is well deserved. I'll definitely be back for additional work from them. The house looks terrific, inside and out. Best of all, they painted my old, horrible fireplace mantle and the darn thing looks like new. I can't thank them enough! Great job all around!

Eric Alvarez at Monks was a complete pleasure to work with. He kept me very well informed on the problems or issues that arose, always checking in when plans changed, answered all my questions timely, just a reliable person to have on the ground as I could not be there on a daily basis. I will do my next project with him again!

They did a pretty good job considering it was a lot of work. I had no issues there and I was happy with the price. I have had them do quotes for a few other jobs but it seems like they have raised their prices.

The service was excellent. Travis and his team were very responsive, punctual and polite. He was willing to work with us to accommodate our needs and provided honest recommendations. The work was excellent, and the attention to detail was remarkable. In fact, when we chose a color that was too dark for our kitchen, Travis worked out a new plan for us to ensure we were satisfied. I was very impressed and will definitely use them in the future and recommend their services to anyone looking for painters.

It went well a few hiccups but the finished job is great. First contractor I've used that has come back to correct a problem.

Be aware right from the start, that the carpenter/sales person who makes the sales pitch, whose carpentry skills you might trust/believe, may not be the one who does any work or supervision of your job. Our sales guy never returned after the project began. A completely new 'carpenter' is introduced to you and begins your job. We were left with an unknown carpenter, and two man crew ( no hablo) with unknown skills to do our remodel which included the install of expensive custom cabinets, crown & trim. The first carpentry crew assigned to our job underperformed. (grade D) Seemed unprepared. They had no dumpster. The debris was piled high on back lawn, without any tarp underneath. I am still picking up sheetrock, tile chips, nails, etc. They used a van to transport refuse. They often didn't have the right materials. Found them using inadequate nailing patterns on the ceiling sheetrock (16" apart with fine thread screws) and inadequate screw patterns on the 3/4 " subfloor, and hardiebacker. I had to watch them/supervise them for every aspect of the job. After several more problems witnessed, including a newly constructed door hallway opening that was not level at the top, and a soffit above the cabinets that was not level, a sloppy install of a patio door, a grazed electric wire, I requested the work stopped and a new crew. Monk's management understood and provided a new crew that were much better. At my request, they made corrections to all of the mistakes of the first crew. Overall, this new crew did "B+" grade work. I had to ask that a few of their errors be fixed also, but I was still happy with their work. The price was good compared to other estimates, but I would not recommend them unless you know basic carpentry and you are there throughout the day to ensure that the job is done right.

We recently had Monk's complete a full design and remodel of our Kitchen. From the first time that we met Paul Mezzanotte (our project manager) we knew that we were going to be in good hands. Paul was a true professional, taking time to completely explain the process and work with us on every concern and detail that came up. Our Designer, Melissa Eppler was also great taking the time that was needed to match the perfect design to our needs and budget. I can not say enough good things about the Monk's crews and subcontractors, all were professional courteous and cleaned up after every work day. With every project there are issues that come up, I can not say enough good things about how the Monk's team came through in every instance and made everything right made sure we were happy. I would recommend Monk's and especially Paul Mezzanotte with your home renovation projects, you will not be disappointed.

All work has been to the highest standard. Angelo Santoro is extremely responsive and professional and manages the job very well. Also, they are available on a timely basis when needed. A pleasure to work with!

GREAT company. We started using them for painting, but now we use them for home improvement projects as well. We have Monk's on speed-dial because their service is so good, their quality is excellent and their prices are fair. Angelo Santoro always responds immediately and gets things done even when our time requirements are compressed. Their workers are well trained and meticulously tidy on both interior and exterior jobs. We have used Monk's for large and small projects and would recommend them to others without hesitation.

Our house looks fantastic, and everyone from Monk's so professional and courteous. The colors that their designer helped us pick out are perfect, too.

Went very well, they did a great job

Obviously since I keep bringing them back for more work each year, i am extremely pleased with the quality of work, customer service, and attention to detail. For the past several years, I have worked primarily with Travis Marion as the representative for Monk's, and I can say without hesitation, that he is been exceptional to work with in getting my projects completed. I always ask for him to be my point of contact when I call Monk's for projects. He is a pleasure to work with and he always makes a point to make sure that I am happy with the work that is being done.

Monk's did a wonderful job painting our outdoor deck, painting our bedrooms and living room. I am also very happy with their work refinishing one of our bedroom floor. Maria Hernandez was very responsive when we had questions or issues. She came through for us at crunch time when we needed go get the floors done before the furniture arrived.

I was very happy with their work. This is mostly because of the process of working with the estimator Maria throughout the project. It was great to have her coordinating the different work crews and one person that was in charge of making sure everything came out as we discussed. Maria is very responsive and friendly and easy to work with. The crews were polite and worked in a timely manner to complete the job.

After having an outstanding experience with Monk's on an exterior paint job, called Rich Ressa about a full bathroom renovation. Rich and Greg Kihm, got a thorough understanding of our needs and provided an estimate on the spot. Monk's place a premium on customer communication, and an effective, open channel was established from Day One. The job was turned over to Eric Alvarez to manage. Eric provided a complete understanding of each phase of the project, was always present at critical junctures, and answered questions on a timely basis. The construction team led by Cristian Guzman was punctual, professional, easy to deal with, and went to great lengths to minimize disruption of the household. The job was finished ahead of schedule. We could not be happier with the results. While the individual components of the bathroom are simple, in execution and combination they are stunning. The Monk's team takes great pride in craftsmanship and we are still amazed by the product months later. Monk's is out first choice for home improvement and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Monks painted the exterior of our home, and from start to finish I could not be more pleased with process and final result. Rich Ressa was our estimator and was extraordinarily professional and easy to work with. Arrived punctually, did a thorough, detailed review of what the house needed and provided an on-the-spot estimate. Was so impressed that I almost gave him the job on the spot, but told him I needed to do my due diligence, which he understood completely. He maintained regular contact, answering questions and providing whatever assurances I needed. We set a date for the work to begin, earlier than I expected. Frankz, the foreman, and his crew showed up on time and hit the ground running. They were unfailingly courteous and actually fun to have around (remember this is a painting job we're talking about). They were thorough, neat, and not hesitant to review and confirm with me any areas where there were questions. Neighbors and even strangers driving by on the street were amazed by how the work was carried out The end-product was simply outstanding, a job performed by true craftsmen. I could not be happier and would recommend Monks enthusiastically and without reservation.

Monks Home Improvements is a class act. Jason was our estimator, and he was extremely professional in providing us a quote. He took his time and gave us a comprehensive quote that included everything we would normally have to ask questions about. He happily quoted a lot more work than we were actually going to start out with, but we're so glad because we know over the next year we will be hiring Monk's back to do more. His crew, led by Luis, was amazing. It wasn't just a paint job in the two rooms that we had -- the walls had many imperfections and before we moved into the house they had been painted over incorrectly many times. The quality of the walls are now flawless from their preparation. The crew was friendly and neat. I had to go back to work, so I left them there to work all day on their own, and never gave it a second thought.

All rooms were left. In neat order and the carpets which were removed were taken away. The painters and resurfaces were polite and helpful moving furniture Etc.

We couldn't be happier with the job Monks did. Jason came out to the house at our convenience to provide us with a very detailed quote which we received immediately. Though the cost was higher than expected, Jason's attention to detail on what we needed to be done made us more secure in what we would get for our money. The job was done on time and in perfect condition. The house was spotless when the job was completed and the follow up to see if we were satisfied was outstanding. I would absolutely use Monks again and recommend their service.

Everything went very well. Both projects came out great and we plan on using them in the future.
