it was great! the tile is very nice and the basement looks gorgeous. they were punctual and reinstalled and moved everything back the way it was after they were done installing the tile.

It is the second time we hire Monk's and again they didn't disappoint. First appointment for estimation was quick to schedule. Quote was provided the next day. It was again really pleasant and easy to work with Travis. Work was scheduled the following next week. Adolfo's painting crew was professional - left the place neat every day and did a very thorough job. Very happy with the outcome. Highly recommend.

I was extremely pleased with my experience with Monks. I did a kitchen renovation and couldn’t be happier with the results. Everyone was professional and easy to work with. My experience with my designer Cindy was great she was so patient with me changing my mind, it was her attitude that made me want to do business with them. The rest of “my team” Bill and Diego were just as easy to work with. Renovation can be so stressful but they put me at ease which made for a pleasant experience. I would work with them again.

This is the third time we used Monk's. We planed and bought the bathroom fixtures from Monk's design studio. Francois, Kennder and Steven did a beautiful job renovating our powder room. What a big difference from the original bathroom!

I am so pleased with the work that Hayron and his assistants did here at my house. The craftsmanship is so beautiful! The men were clean, polite and a pleasure to work with. Maria was so helpful in planning the project and she was responsive to questions and patient with me throughout the process. I look forward to working with Monks again to complete my other projects.

Great. Monk’s isn’t the cheapest, but they are a good value for quality work and responsive service.

It started out as a bathroom update to repair the floor tile and I ended up adding on several other items. Monks did a good job and were professional. There were a few surprises between what I had discussed with the designer and what was done with the tub. But with any remodel, there are always a few issues. Monks quickly fixed everything once the issues were pointed out and they got the job done on time.

Workers were professional...all subcontractors overseen by a Monk's employee (George Day). Two different projects, two different job foremen, both competent and responsive. Not the cheapest game in town, though.

Wanting to make sure we did our research, we received quotes from five different companies. Jon Clausson from Monk's stood out from the initial estimate meeting and we ultimately decided to go with Monk's. We knew the final product would be great with any of the companies we received quotes for, but where Monk's stood out was their responsiveness, how easy it was to work with them, and their clear communication. Our decision to go with Monk's ended up being a great one, as everything turned out absolutely beautiful and there were no surprises with the final bill. We look forward to working with Monk's again!

Travis Marion handled all of my work over many years, which was always excellent. Travis is wonderful to work with. He is always very courteous, professional, dedicated, and trustworthy. I would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Relatively good. However, they failed to paint the interior side of two doors to which they previously agreed and there was lint distributed in the paint in areas around a couple of door casements. They offered to come back and remedy the issues, but since I am experienced with painting, I made the corrections myself

While the work was great, the real reason we're giving Monk's an "A" review is the professional and courteous manner in which they handled a problem that occurred during the course of the job. We hired Monk's to install pre-finished hardwood flooring. On the day of the install, we looked at the initial 2 rows that had been installed, and we were unhappy with the look. This wasn't Monk's fault - it is simply the nature of pre-finished flooring which wasn't noticeable on the flooring samples we reviewed. When we expressed our concern to the installer, he was very understanding, and he offered to stop (no pressure to move forward with something we didn't like). As you can imagine, my wife and I were very upset with the situation. We had over 40 boxes of material that we didn't want, we had a full crew that had prepped the rooms and were in process of installing, and we had alot of money invested in both. I called our contact (Ryan) who was instantly accessible (no hiding behind voicemail). He told me he would address the problem. Within an hour, I received a call from one of the owners - Ty Monk. I explained what happened, and the first thing he said to me was "I need to put together some options, but I want you to know that we're committed to getting this job done to your satisfaction". WOW! It really put my mind at ease to know I was working with someone with that attitude towards customer satisfaction. Even more impressive is what happened next. By the end of the day, Ty got back to me with a plan of action. Over the following days, he personally worked with us to select replacement material and finish stain to ensure that we'd be happy with the final product. Once we had agreed on this, we were quickly put back on schedule and within budget. The floors are now installed and finished, and we're very happy with the results. They also painted several rooms in our house, and the quality and attention to detail was amazing. Anyone can be professional and cooperative when things are going well, but the true test is how people react when things go wrong. While this was a bad situation for my wife and me, I also recognize that it wasn't a great situation for Monk's. Ty Monk is a true gentleman and a good person to work with. I would recommend Monk's to my friends, and I would do business with them again. From start to finish, everyone we dealt with at Monk's was courteous and professional.

Took too long, more than a month. Initial measurements were incorrect even though Monks performed the measurements. The experience was a comedy of errors- they couldn't even order the correct doorknob. The staff lacks communication skills. Had to call / email them several times before getting a response. Overall nice showroom, poor workmanship.

George called later and we scheduled the repair for Friday of the following week. He let me know that Ziggy would call to agree on a time, the day before. Ziggy called on Thursday, we scheduled the appointment, and on Friday he arrived and completed the repair. The work was done quickly, professionally, and included a thorough clean-up of the site when he finished. We have had several major projects completed by Monk's, both last year and three years ago, and we have become repeat customers, which I think speaks for itself.

The price was high. They did the work but they were expensive. It took them just a few days. They protected my home fine. The interaction was good. They did a very good job on the cleanup

We've used them many times. To be honest, I work with the same guy every time. He is very conscientious, and he's responsive. He also realizes that there are certain jobs that can get done pretty quickly. Like for example this last job, I actually sent him a text, and said hey can you come out? He came out the next day, and had the actual project manager come out and look at it, and did the job that day. So to me, that was great!

Monk's is professional, friendly and punctual organization. Monk's exterior painting of the house including the deck and the removal of old storm windows/door and the installation of ones purchased from them was first rate. When we had concerns they were addressed in a timely and courteous fashion. We plan to use them again.

They came on time and completed the work as agreed and did an excellent job.
