They're very courteous and punctual. I'm very satisfied with their work.

Took them 5 hrs at $90 an hr. Granted two of them were heavy. Calculations done in head. Math skills were off. one completely off center and the rest all move because hung on a single hook with wire. I have to adjust them every time I walk by. Not happy with work and not happy that I asked him on phone how much to hang and couldn't give me a price until they showed up and announced he charges $90 an hour. Who would have thought it took them 5 hrs. Work was done on May 2nd and yesterday May 24th he calls me to find out when I'm scheduled for him to come and do work. Smh!

After calling multiple leads, they all told me they could have someone out just to "estimate" the cost "within a week." Then I'd have to wait for another day to have the work done after consulting with schedulers. I wanted this done immediately! Brian came the day I called and would've climbed up on the roof then if it weren't raining out. He came back the next day when he said he would, got up on the roof, and took care of re-hanging the vinyl siding pieces that came off in a wind storm. THAT'S just what I needed. Thanks, Brian! We'll be in touch in the future when we need you! :)

Brian did a wonderful job. Not only was he able to fix our issue quickly, he recommended and installed an improvement to the fence that added value to his work. We are definitely calling him in the future for some additional projects around the house.

Big B showed up on time. The work performed was fantastic. Clean and professional job. I will definitely hire him again. The price was reasonable.

Bryan returned my phone call without delay and quickly made an appointment to assess the work. He phoned regularly and arrived on time as promised. Because of the height of the ceiling, he needed to rent a tall ladder. We made another appointment and he called earlier in the day to confirm. He came with his assistant and promptly fixed the problem. He is a true professional, warm and respectful. Will definitely call on him again.

I had a long list of various projects that needed to get done. I selected three projects to start and called Brian based on Angie's list recommendations. Brian was responsive and gave me a price upfront for the work. The work was done in a professional manner at the quoted price, and was well done. I was happy with the quality of the work and planning to use Brian again for more projects.

Overall, I was happy with the job Brian and his "helper" did. The ceilings in my house are a bit tricky due to most of the light comes from skylights. Due to shadow effects, spots were missed. Brian removed a bump in my kitchen ceiling that had been bothering me for years and smoothed it out completely. The ceiling in one bedroom was completely resurfaced. After Brian left, I did see areas that were not smoothed well. I called him and relayed to him the issues I was seeing. Within a couple of weeks, he came and made the repairs. I think the price was fair based on other estimates I obtained and would use Brian again if I have the opportunity.

I had to work with Angie's List complaint resolution process and was only able to receive a refund to replace a fabric blind that the painters got paint on that could not be removed. However there was other damage and unfinished work that the contractor refused to remediate. Several part time workers were used that may have contributed to the sloppy, unprofessional work. They don't use drop clothes or cleanup after they are done. Dust was every where, walls weren't properly prepped and as with the blinds the proper precautions not taken to protect the property. This contractor does not respect the customers home, does not return phone calls and the ultimate work is unprofessional. I will need to hire a ad on contractor to clean up and finish the work that this contractor refused to honor.

Brian was very prompt in responding to my first email and he sounded very personable on the phone. We played phone tag for a few days, then scheduled a date for him to come to estimate the work, which was replacing a ceiling fan and filling a gap in the garage foundation. He never came and didn't call. This is always the first test of whether someone is a true professional and he did not meet expectations.

This was the second job that Brian did for us. He did painting and installed new light fixtures the first time. This time he installed a ceiling medallion in the entry hall and repaired the ceiling that was damaged by a previous contractor. The ceiling is 18 ft high and he needed to put up a scaffold in the entry way. There is also a large chandelier that he needed to cover and lower to do the work. The job was done in one day, he keep the work area, chandelier neat and clean and his work was excellent. I would highly recommend him.

Don't even read further. Just be done with your searches and use Brian. If you want the details, Brian is the model contractor others should aspire to. He said the replaced area would look like new and it did. He kept to his estimate, kept us completely informed, was punctual, if he was going to be late, etc. He's a professional at his work and I will use him again. My wife like things the way she likes them, and he went above and beyond. Brian also does something most contractors don't do, he cleans us after himself! My first call next time I need something done that I can't do or that I'm not competent at.

I would not use them again. Had a helper who did the work. I was not impressed with the work provided by the "helper".

I called Brian on June 4th to clean the gutters on my house and we made the appointment for Saturday, June 6th at 2:00PM. He showed up on time, cleaned all of the debris from the gutters and the leaders and replaced some of the gutter screening that was damaged. It took him approximately an hour to complete the job. I was happy with his workmanship. He is a very hard worker and I found him to be a very pleasant person. I am definitely planning on using him for other jobs I need done around my house and would highly recommend him to others.

Well I cannot even begin to start how it went! From the estimate to the finished products it was WONDERFUL having Brian do all my work! Brian is not only punctual and professional he is such a knowledgable person! He described everything he was doing. He always asked how I liked everything. He is a perfectionist as well. He went above and beyond taking care of everything. For all the work he did the price was so reasonable. When all the work was completed you would never even know he was here. He cleans up everything!! I have finally found someone after all these years owning a home that I can truly say is amazing!!! You will never need to look for another handyman again after having Brian work in your home!! I recommend him VERY highly!! He will be my handyman from now on!!! Thank you Brian!!!!! :)

The work got postponed several times, and eventually set an appointment date that he missed. After that, I never heard from him again.

I was disappointed because I didn't have the manufacturer's light kit.

Brian was very quick to respond to my initial call and arrived for an estimate the next day. I thought his price was very fair and we scheduled the work for the coming weekend. He arrived right on time on a Saturday morning. He had estimated the job would take 2-4 hours and he finished in 3. Both the shower and ceiling look brand new. There was 1 minor issue with the caulk that I noticed two days later and called Brian about. He told me not to worry and that he would come back the next day to fix. Again, he showed up right on time and made the repair. I would highly recommend.

Brian was quick to return my call, quick to come out and give me an estimate and a start date. He and his co-worker arrived on-time the first day 12/05/2014 and diagnosed and repaired the leak issue. They also began the process of replacing the sheetrock and spackling in both the bathroom and the garage. I was given 'care' instructions and abided by them. Since the job required a second visit (so that the first coat of spackle/grout could dry, and to accommodate my work schedule) they returned on 12/09/2014. They again arrived on time and completed the second round of spackle/grout, etc....they had a heater running non-stop to help the drying process. They both cleaned up thoroughly, vaccuming and even took the ALL trash out to where it goes. I was completely satisfied with their price, professionalism and work ethic. I even tipped on the service. Even though the second visit was only supposed to take another 2-3 hours they took their time and did not add a penny to my bill even though they were there more than the 2-3 hours. I will absolutely use their service again. I already have some items that I will ask them to complete for me after the holidays. Thanks again, Brian. You guys delivered everything you promised.

Brian showed up promptly and we ran through our problems. He diagnosed pretty quickly what needed to be done, went to buy. The needed parts and got right to it. He kept it simple, and I believe I saved a bunch of money by avoiding having to replace a door and calling in a plumber to replace a trap. And he's a friendly, great guy. Plan to use him to address some jobs in my daughters condo.

This was my first experience using Brian of Big B's Handyman Service, and I was very happy with all of the services performed. He was able to do everything on my diverse list - plaster large porch window frame, patch up holes in flooring trim, ceiling and outside eave, repair my chain link fence gate, Install a new outside spotlight, Install a new motion sensor porch light, reface my 50 yr old rusted mailbox, and remove 2 old metal clothesline poles. The work was very professional and he and his helper were very pleasant to work with. They arrived about 10 minutes earlier than expected (which is a great thing for me since I'm an early riser and truly appreciate people being on time or early) and worked steadily for about 4-5 hours. It's great to know that I have someone close by that is able to do a variety of tasks (especially the small ones that contracting companies don't want to bother with) and I will definitely be using Big B's Handyman Service for future jobs.

Brian was very serious and attentive to his work. Not only did he complete all of the items on my list, he also noted several other problems and fixed them too! He used a special lubricant to "unstick' the screen door leading on to my patio. A few months ago my automatic garage opener had short circuited as a result of a flood in my laundry room. Brian asked why it was disconnected and when I told him put the electric cord back in. Within a few minutes it was working again! Had he not done this I would likely have had a completely new one installed. I am preparing my next list for him now!

Called Brian. He called us and made an appt for 8:00Sat AM........we stayed home and He was a NO SHOW. NO CALL. Very unprofessional!!!!!! Glad we found out how unprofessional he was before we hired him!!!!!

Great. Performed the work quickly and had time left over for some odds and ends jobs.
