From start to finish, this project was executed professionally. We received a thorough quote, including a walk-trough of options, measurements, and necessities. The permit packet I received even complimented by the township for being so thorough. The project manager set timeline expectations on the first day, and each day of construction was clearly coordinated. Our project was stalled half way through due to COVID, but as soon as we were allowed, everything resumed with the same precision. In the end, our unfinished, dungeon-like basement was transformed into a cozy, well-lit space. We got the perfect basement well within our budget. Amazing job!!! Took are unfinished basement and turned it into a whole new living area. They put in a French drain to combat any water as we have a high water table and it was always damp down there, now it is bone dry. Then they turned our dark unfinished area to a bright space that will offer us years of enjoyment. EVERY crew that came in did an amazing job!! All were very friendly and professional and always clean up at the end of the day, even if they weren’t finished with their respective job. Gail is an amazing quarterback and was simply a pleasure to work with. I spoke to the owner Stuart several times during the project as he offered insight and design throughout which was great. We started the project and was halted during the Pandemic and they kept us in the loop the whole time about stopping and restarting. When we restarted they were very cautious and made sure we felt safe along with making their crew feel safe. Their pricing was unbeatable, we had several contractors come and give estimates and not only were their estimates a lot higher they also weren’t guaranteed like Basic Basements Co. Throughout the whole job there were NO hidden charges, up charges, or hidden fees so we knew actually what we were budgeted for. We’ve had a lot of work done on our house and several contractors working on our house for several years, but Basic Basement Co. was by far the best quality and best service of any contractors we have worked with. Thank you for making our basement into an area my family will hang out in and enjoy for years to come.

From start to finish, Basic Basements was A++++! We have done several remodeling projects over the past 5 years with smaller independent companies, and always seemed to run into issues. With the Basic Basement, we got exactly what we wanted, delivered in a super efficient timeline. Gail is an INCREDIBLE office manager and kept our project moving along quickly, and Kevin was a fantastic project manager, making tweaks to our plan to keep our vision in tact. Right from providing quote, project management, price and quality of job is incredible. The planning piece is a key and hallmark of basic basement. All the teams is super knowledgeable, professional, courteous and subject matter expert who came in for plumbing, carpenter, flooring, electrician and township approval process including excellent project management. The entire project is so transparent and all technical subject matter experts have had patience to explain me and walk me through various aspects to make appropriate choices time to time. We are glad to chose basic basement for our job and we highly recommend. They take pride in what they do. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire them for all my future project. The basic basement people were awesome! Kevin saw a great vision for our basement. Gail was constantly updating us on each step. We just had a great experience with Basic Basement Co. The work was finished in early March 2020. Their process is organized and nothing surprised me along the way. We worked with their designers to maximize our basement space. I think it turned out better than I ever hoped for. Our three little kids will get to enjoy this new space for the next 15+ years! All of the workers were respectful and hard-working; each job took about a day to complete. I would hire Basic Basement Co. again.

From start to finish, the Basic Basement Company delivered as promised. We were nervous, of course, deciding on a company for such a big project. Everything they told us was done and everyone we dealt with was pleasant. Every specialist that was assigned to our project (electrician, plumber, carpenter, drywall specialists, etc) showed up on time every day and did immaculate work. Hands down, THE BEST company we've ever worked with. We received multiple quotes from various companies and contractors and decided to go with the Basic Basement Company due to the reviews we read and their competitive price. Their estimate of project completion was on-point (started January 13, completed final inspection February 25). It took 6 weeks to complete, which was the exact target they initially gave us (5-6 weeks). Gail was PERFECT and very accommodating with scheduling when the workers would arrive and Randy was such a great Project Manager. All their workers arrived on time (usually around 8AM) and ended early afternoon. Everyone in the company was so efficient and professional. We love them so much and would definitely do business with the company again. You won't be disappointed with their workmanship...we can't wait to start entertaining in our basement!

It went very smooth right from the township work order to final approval. The team of this company is very professional and thorough in their respective field. They answered to all our questions very patiently and provided excellent service.

My contact person was Gail T. she was nothing short of amazing! Very detailed oriented, kept me updated on all installations, time schedules etc. This was a HUGE project, it went very well...every contractor was professional, courteous and polite. At the end of each day you could barely tell we were having work completed.

Horrible customer service. no follow up. Did not answer questions or listen to anything. Basically came to house and provided a 43,000 quote with no breakouts. Just a magic number.

From Gail at home office, to Randy our project manager, Mark our electrician and LITERALLY EVERY OTHER TEAM that they sent here, they were AMAZING!!! So professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with and everything was completed in a timely manner. They also cleaned up after themselves every day!! Our basement looks amazing, thanks to them and they were so helpful and attentive every step of the way!! We want to hire them for all of our future projects!! Our inspectors kept commenting on how thorough they were!! Can’t say enough great things about them!!!

Zero hassle with fabulous job !! When they say the crew will come on certain day, the crew comes - No no-show, no delay. I could always communicate with the project manager or scheduler. The workmanship was also super. I recommend to everyone.

We had a great experience with Basic Basement. The process from quote to completion was orderly and well managed. The work was done well, on cost and on time. There was one little surprise along with way which caused a minor expense (less than 300]) but it was understandable. Kevin (Project Manager) and Gail (Office everything) were excellent, always available and professional. I never had any problem getting a hold of either to ask a question or seek info. We were very happy with the work done for the price paid. I would have no reservations about hiring them again for similar work.

The project was done professionally from start to finish. Gail and Kevin, the project managers, took care of every detail. The entire process was seamless. All construction employees were on time, cleaned up debris, and were masters of their trade. I couldn’t be happier with our finished project.

We had a phenomenal experience with this company from start to finish! Our experience began with our free consultation which was scheduled at our convenience. When their representative arrived, he was knowledgeable, he listened well and he understood our needs and made recommendations that reflected that. We did not feel pressured into any upgrades etc. During the consultation, the representative was able to provide us with a firm estimate and he even came prepared with equipment to print out our contract! By the end of the consultation, we fully understood what work was going to be done and how much it was going to cost up front. Once we made our contract, the office team put together the permit package fairly quickly. We had no issues once I submitted to my township for approval. After our permit was approved, they began scheduling. On the first day, I met my onsite project manager. He did a great job explaining the process so we would know what to expect. On every single phase of this project, each team was punctual, extremely professional, and performed their tasks quickly. I was impressed at the attention to detail. Every detail we discussed was executed. Another thing that stuck out for me was that they kept the work area extremely clean. They made sure dust did not get into other areas of my home and they always removed their waste materials. Lastly, the person from the office who worked in tandem with my onsite project manager was in constant communication by email. There was never a moment when we weren't aware of when a team was going to show up or when the township inspectors were coming. Even our township inspector was impressed with our job in terms of the quality of the work. They even sent me a thank you card with a generous Visa gift card inside!
