Had a leak in a 70 yr. old chimney w/three flues. Interviewed several HomeAdvisor contractors and with his experience and approach chose Build, USA who proposed a plan of action to address the leak and serious problem of fireplace smoke backing into our family room. To upgrade the chimney - old, damaged bricks were replaced w/o disturbing surrounding mortar. Then discovered the flues were too short: so flues, brick chimney & damper pull chains were lengthened and entire concrete crown replaced. The right size flue caps replaced. Copper flashing around chimney base replaced to extend over surrounding roof and sealed. Skylight flashing updated & secured. Chimney was hard brushed clean, waterproofed and guaranteed 25 years. Their price was more than fair considering the scope of work. Andy knows his stuff, does the job right & cares! Would definitely recommend and hire again. My thanks, Virginia Gould

I would give Build USA ten stars if I could. We had 54 feet of pavement removed and replaced. Our sidewalk was in very bad shape and, in our town, its the homeowners responsibility to repair. From first contact to completion of job, Andy and his crew, including Ryan and Leonardo, were professional, accessible, quickly earning our confidence that we had made the right choice. The price was very fair, the work impeccable, the cleaning up after remarkable. Everything turned out as promised and even better. These guys were fantastic! Out of all of the contractors that I've hired over the years, this is the first one I'd actually recommend to family and friends. They gave a fair estimate. They showed up when they said they would. They tore out my old concrete sidewalk and poured a new section. They were done in 2 hours and they were super friendly. I would definitely hire them again!

The project required removal and realignment of a patio approx 16'x16'. I originally wanted only a portion of the patio slope corrected. When I requested an estimate Andy came the very next day took a look at my requested work and advised that doing only a partial realignment of pavers would not look good or direct water off the patio correctly. So I asked Andy for two estimates, one for the partial work and one for the entire patio and he was upfront on his recommendation that the entire patio should be done but would provide both estimates. He verbally gave me the estimates and I requested he email his estimate and let me think about them, which he did. I reviewed them and decided that Andy was right and his quote for the entire patio was fair for the amount of work to be done (I did have another quote from a competitor and it was out of site). I said OK and Andy scheduled my work for a 'Sunday'; Andy arrived in the morning with his coworker and the both of them spent the entire day completing the job - and a GREAT job they did do. Andy is fair with his estimates, on time with his schedule and he and his coworker worked hard all day. Would I hire his company again - you bet I would and if I have future work in the Build USA list of services I will surely hire Andy and his company to do it.

We hired Build USA to rip a cement patio. They were great doing follow up prior to job, arrived earlier than their start time to set up, were extremely respectful of our space, back yard and neighbors. Always had great smiles all around. They did not alter their estimate even if there mas a bit more work than originally planned. I will recommend them blindly. They left everything extremely tidy considering this was a very messy job. You can bet, we will be calling them for anything around our house.
