It was a good experience.

Exactly as planned

We got off to a slow start, mainly because of weather. Then there were also delays because the contractor decided they needed to bring in a lift to do the job. However, despite the delays they did an excellent job and stuck to the price which was quoted to us despite what we believe must have been additional cost due to renting of the lift. They even made a few small minor repairs and caulked some gaps in the front brick steps and around some windows commenting that these were easy quick fixes and since he had the right materials and the lift, he could do that for us easily. There was no additional cost for these items. Our only negative comment was that in using the lift, they left ruts in the yard (remember, we had delays for rain) and broke off some branches from a magnolia tree. These were not significant issues, but acknowledging and apologizing for what seem to us to be obvious unintended consequences would have been nice. We plan to contact this contractor again in the future and would recommend them to others.

They were extremely professional and pleasant to work with. I would refer them to any and everyone. Their price was fair and they did an amazing job.

Elio came to the house which I recently purchased and which had been neglected. He assessed the job and gave me a price. His workers then came. They were courteous and efficient. The job took longer than I expected because of wet weather and repairs needing to dry prior to painting. Elio's crew did small jobs without being asked and without adding to the cost of the job. They cleaned up everything.

We were planing on a complete makeover of our house. It had ceder siding, old deck and roof that needed replacement. It had very contemporary look and we were trying to transform into more traditional style. After speaking to many contractors in the area we almost lost all hope in being able to find a company that met our budget as well as our design and architectural concerns. We called Elio on a beautiful Saturday afternoon with hope to schedule a meeting within a week. He called back right away and came over within 2 hours. It was a big project and we had many concerns. On the same day he took us to see several of his active and old projects. One thing that gave us a great comfort was that when he called people in the middle of Saturday afternoon everyone gladly agreed to show us around and met Elio like an old friend. selection Elio gave us great design ideas. Helped us with color selection and oversaw all of the work that was being done.

I am so thrilled I found Lempa Construction on Angies List. I was in the middle of having my house painted by another contractor when their prep work revealed that my stucco was in bad shape (particularly on one wall of the home). They suggested I get it repaired before painting so I came to Angies List to look for a stucco contractor. I called Elio late on a Saturday evening and left a message and to my surprise he returned my call within minutes. It just got better from there. We made an appointment to go over what needed to be done and he explained that the stucco was chipping off because water was getting in behind it through the cracks. I originally showed him the problem wall but he wanted to walk around the entire house and quoted me a price to patch the entire thing, which I appreciated very much. The stucco on my house is highly textured and a very "old fashioned" texture at that. The fix consisted of grinding down the cracks, applying fiberglass mesh and stucco compound. Once dry those spots and other damaged areas were finished with a compound that he called "limestone" to mach my existing walls. His crew also repaired cracks in my foundation in a similar manner. We set up a time within the week for the work to be done. He brought several men and the work was done that day day. I was so happy to have it done so quickly and they did a great job. Elio was SUPER responsive and available when ever I called him with questions. They came back a day later to do a cleanup, which was very thorough and also went well. Elio has a very friendly manner and I immediately trusted him to get the job done and done right. I asked him for several cards so I could have them on hand for my neighbors whose homes are of similar age and stucc construction. Thanks Elio!

I had a small job I needed done with a concrete saw. I don't have a concrete saw and even if I did I would probably cut my own fingers off. I gave Lempa a call and they were over within the same day and did the work perfectly. It was a small job but they treated it like a big job and were prompt and professional. It took longer then expected so I offered them more then what they quoted me but he wouldn't accept it and stuck by his quote. It's nice to find someone honest and who shows up when they say they will even for a small little job. I wish other contractors understood the fact that small jobs lead to bigger ones down the road.

If you are looking for work done on your stucco or need your house painted look no further then Elio. He came within 30 minutes of my initial phone call and gave a very fair estimate and pointed out problems other people had missed. He said the whole job would take between 3-4 weeks and he finished in 3. I had hired a paint consultant to help with the color scheme and Elio gave me one of his options that was far superior and we decided to go with it. The work is so outstanding that my neighbor and another friend have already contacted him to fix the stucco and paint their houses. I 100% percent recommend Elio and because of him my 10 year old house looks brand new.

Elio responded the same day i left him vm message and was at my home that afternoon to give me an estimate; 2 days later they dropped off materials and scaffolding and worked 5-7 days a week to get the job finnished so i could put my home back on the market before the spring season was over. They did an amazing impeccable job carefully masking everything . the end result is better than I could have dreamed. I was determined to redo the house in its original stucco white color Elio suggested I do it in a color and gave me the chart. I chose a light gray with the white soffit and facia trim it looked fabulous.

Overall job appears satisfactory to the eye. The look of the house was definitely improved. However, the customer service experience was not always satisfactory. The job should have taken 3 days from start to finish. The job took 5 months from start to finish. Elio (the owner) would state that he would come back to finish on a particular date. Then I would not hear from him for one month. This happened more than once. The caulking of the windows had to be re-done. The first time the screens, which should have been removed first, were caulked over. I spent half a day of my own time to remove, clean up, and reinstall the screens.

The job went well, they got the job done in 2 visits. At the end of the job, I had to call Elio to pay him in full.

I found Lempa Construction prior to joining Angie's list. He did such a wonderful job that I wanted to share this with you. I was very happy with the quality of workmanship of the stucco. My house is a second story addition. Stucco was applied on the entire house.

We met Elio a couple of years ago when we decided it was way past time to redo the siding of the house, which we had bought some 6-7 years before. For many years, while looking at the ugly blue shingles masking the beauty of the house I had dreamed about stucco, and had studied the prices and the reviews out there but somehow I was afraid of the cost and the results because I had read some horrible stories. Then one fine day, my husband found this site on the internet, with pictures and reviews and we got hooked, just by reading the kind words everybody had to say about Elio and his crew. We decided to give them a try: it was an instant liking of this gentle giant of a man who came into our house for an estimate that was never increased and a quality of work that I am proud to say made my house the most beautiful on the block. These guys actually are specialized in stucco and stone only so they really know their trade. They are also extremely open to the owner?s ideas and can customize almost anything, from colors to decorative elements, to window frames and anything in between. We were so pleased with the results that we called Elio?s crew this past summer again, to repair what we had to destroy due to our kitchen remodel (we had a sliding door removed and a couple of windows installed, in addition the main level of the house had recently been worked on as well as we installed pavers under the deck). In a nutshell, you will be very happy if you decide to give Elio a try. He has not only an extremely pleasant personality, but his prices and work ethics are unbeatable! He will be with you all the way to completion of your project, keeping an attentive and caring eye on his men and your property as well.

Shortly after purchasing our home in Flemington, NJ, we were notified by our home insurance company that they were requiring us to repair the damaged stucco on both our house and garage by October. We were aware the stucco needed repair but hadn't intended to address it immediately upon moving in so this unexpected "time bind" was rather distressing. We immediately checked Angie's List and read the very positive reviews about Lempa Construction and it's owner, Elio. We called Eilo and from that first conversation until the project was completed, only a few weeks, later we always felt we were in good hands! Elio agreed to meet my husband and I at our new house later that same day. He explained the nature and scope of the work and gave us a price which seemed more than fair. He then invited us to follow him to see his workers at a couple of his stucco jobs, in progress, a few miles away. He also provided us with the addresses of several other completed homes in other towns which we then drove by on our own the following day. We were extremely impressed and we contacted Elio and finalized a contract for Lempa to do the job. Aware of our insurance company "time bind", Elio was able to start the job the following week and he and his workers arrived bright and early on the day agreed upon. His men were friendly, polite, and professional and they did an absolutely wonderful job. Upon completion, when we did mention one minor concern to Elio (a wire that was stuccoed onto the house) he corrected it himself right then and there. Although the job did take a little longer than anticipated (approximately three weeks rather than the one to two initially estimated), the results were well worth it! The new stucco is absolutely beautiful and our neighbors have all commented on how lovely it is. Of course, my husband and I plan to complete the "makeover" by painting the wood siding to match the new stucco color and adding the finishing touches (accent color to front door, window sills and garage)! In closing, I must say that when we saw some of the "mini-mansions" Elio had worked on, we were somewhat concerned that he wouldn't give our little house the proper attention. It's a small ranch (I call it our "cozy cottage") and in addition to that, the stucco portion is only about two thirds of the house (balance is divided between stone and wood siding. Nothing could be further from the truth! Throughout the process, Elio treated our "small" job, and us, with the utmost respect and attention. He is both a professional and a true gentleman and it was a pleasure doing business with him. Needless to say, we can recommend Lempa Construction without reservation!

I contacted Elio back in March after discovering stucco cracking and peeling off several areas on the front of my home. He came out almost immediately to discuss required work and give me an estimate of cost. We agreed that it was too cold to do the work at that time. In addition, I wanted to speak with other contractors and obtain additional estimates, as my husband and I were also contemplating having the house refaced with some other material. In June I again called him after having decided to hire him for the job. He commenced work shortly thereafter but was unable to complete it as a result of an almost 4-week stretch of continuous rain. When the weather broke, he immediately returned and finished the job within one day.

I kept calling them to come back and do the job, but he never responded. He asked me for my address again, so I texted it to him and the work that I needed done. He never responded again, so then I gave up. He never called me back. He gave me a quote the same day he came out, which was okay but then he never came out to do the work and just ignored it for the rest of the time. The first time he showed up on time and he was professional.

Eliot arrived one day after I called his office. He examined the damage, gave me a very reasonable quote on the spot and showed me pictures of similar work he had performed on other houses. He gave me confidence he knew how to do the repairs and had done this type of work many times before. He showed up with a crew several days later and began the repairs. The work was excellent. He not only fixed the damage but he fixed cracks he found in the stucco on other parts of the house at no additional charge. I liked that Eliot looked over the entire exterior of the house and gave us useful advice on other repairs to consider and suggested ways the address the problems. I'm very happy with Lempa and would definitely use them again.

The repairs required were do a breech in the Drivit. Also todays codes have changed since installation by the builder (home built 2001) Lempa went above and beyond. He knew exactly what had to be done and was familiar with todays codes. My clients were so pleased they had him do other repairs so we could move on to closing. I am keeping his number for future friends and clients who need repairs or masonary work. I never actually spoke to him but my clients raved.

Overall I was very satisfied with the quick response to my phone call and the speed with which he came to estimate an complete the job.But most important it was done neatly and safely and looks great. Elio took the time to observe the area and saw a patch that needed to be filled in and did it.We will and are considering having his company do more work for us.

The guy is really flexible and real accommodating. Since they started the job, he has not took a single holiday for his people. His guys were always there. I'm quite impressed. The rate, I thought, was the best.

Lempa Construction promptly contacted us and came to give an estimate. They showed up on time and completed the job on time as quoted and described. They cleaned up the contruction site perfectly and even picked up tiny pieces of debris from the grass.

Lemma showed up exactly on time, the staff was friendly and professional. There was a foreman Armando that was in charge and Elio checked then progress of the job daily. The project took two weeks. Elio made the entire project easy for me. I felt comfortable and confident about the work being done on my house. It was a seamless process. Elio walked the project with me when it was done. I had a small punch list which he took care of down tom the smallest detail. His customer service was as great as his work. I would highly recommend Lempa Constuction.

I called Elio and he came over within a few hours to give me an estimate on patching up the holes in my stucco. I thought it was fair and agreed to hire him on the spot. They are quick and don't try dragging a job out. Once they were done they moved onto the next job I hired them for and didn't spread themselves thin. They only started the next job once the one they were working on was completed. I would definitely use them again and definitely recommend.

I contacted at least six companies for my stucco and cement repair project on my exposed porch. Anner ("Elio") and Chris arrived within a day or two of my call and were very nice. They seemed very honest and genuine at first impression. They inspected the porch and explained exactly how they would make the repairs with wire lath, mesh, and only Senergy products. I really liked their ideas, especially for the floor. They quoted the job at $2,500. I got three other estimates, one the same, one a little less, and another that was more than double. I decided to use them and they gave me a very good proposal that detailed exactly what they would do. They started the job with their crew promptly and started the demo work. Elio immediatley noticed that the columns on the proch that supported the roof were badly damaged. They braced the roof and carefully removed the stucco and the damaged terracotta block. They used concrete and rebar to reinforce the columns and the parts of the foundation below them that had similar damage. I watched them do the whole thing. They took their time and did it right. They used metal wire lath with layers of cement and then did the stucco over it. They used the mesh on the inside of the porch with the stucco. They nailed wire lath to the cracked floor and used a Senergy produsct with dark grey pigment in it so it would never have to be painted. They also added stucco finish to the pured concrete steps to match the finish on the rest of the house. They had to postpone two days due to rain, but made themselves available on the weekend to finish. We were very happy with their work. They worked hard and were very nice, and explained everything. Throughout the project, they asked about our satisfaction. They only charged us an extra $500 for the repairs that had to be done to the columns and foundation. I think this only barely covered the extra materials they had to bring in. The job came out perfect and I would highly recommend them for any stucco or concrete work!
