Carmine quickly responded to my request for an estimate and came by the next day to look at the work. The estimate was about $100 less than another plumber so prices are reasonable. The work was done the next week by Ben. He did a great job installing the kitchen faucet in no time. The vanity in the bathroom took longer than anticipated because of the poor job done on the previous fixture. The vanity I bought also didn't fit quite easily as anticipated, and he had to cut one of the shelves to make it fit. He went beyond to make sure the vanity fit right. He did a great job. He was extremely polite, cleaned up after the work, and disposed of the old fixtures. The bathroom vanity looks fantastic, and the installation is impeccable. I had to pay more than the estimate for the extra work that was done, but it was reasonable. No one anticipated that there would be sawing involved in order to make the vanity fit. And even with the extra cost, the final amount for the work done was still cheaper than the other estimate I received. I would highly recommend Carmine Aumenta for future faucet and vanity installations!

Excellent, where I thought there were problems, he explained those weren't the problems, and refused (politely) to fix what didn't need to be fixed. Instead, he made suggestions that we could easily do as homeowners.

They were on time and fixed the problem we were having. We would use them again.

It is a family business - the younger son came with an assistant. They explained why the tap cracked (bad install) and what they would do to prevent it from freezing again. They were very efficient, clean and thorough. They also walked me through how to winterize the exterior pipe to make sure I got it. I gave a B on price but that is only because I hate how much plumbers cost...but these guys are good and ultimately worth it.

A kitchen sink was installed, The sink was installed without incident and the workmanship was of a very high quality, despite a few shards of sharp metal which were found on the kitchen floor after the work was done. Also very high, was the price paid, since the sink wasn't all that expensive, and was comparable to the price of many sinks found at either Loews or Home Depot. The price paid for this particular installation, which took less than two hours, was in my opinion, exorbitant. Overall, I'll give a grade of "B", since the quality of the work performed was excellent. Also, this company referred me to an individual who did a good job grouting my bathtub and shower. So overall a "B".

Carmine and Danny arrived for service on the same day as I made the call. They called before arrival to let me know they were on the way. They were knowledgeable and worked quickly to perform the tasks at hand. I felt completely comfortable having them in my home (not always the case being a woman) and I will definitely call them again for any future requests.

This is this is the second time I have used them. They come quickly and are very professional.

Ordered bosch 18' dishwasher for my tiny kitchen from best buy. since best buy customer service is a joke, they could/would not schedule installation, and were really unhelpful about everything. My favorite plumbers saved the day! The Aumenta plumbers came out Monday morning, installed the new dishwasher, drilled new hoses for the plumbing, and cleaned up all of their mess (and even took my old GE dishwasher away. I love these guys. They are prompt, fast, and super efficient.

I have used this provider before and they are not very professional. They offered to beat the price based on another other we recieved and based on their rating we used them. The service they preformed was satisfactory, but the lack of professionalism, coordination for an inspector and payment was a pain. Although the professionalism was less then satisfactory, due to the pricing I figured I could deal with them and try for a second job. I was looking for a price comparision, called them, emailed them pictures of the task and they never responded. I was only looking for an estimate, understanding that estimates change based on what is onsite. I called back a second time to setup an appointment, but had to reschedule due to work conflicts. As I tried to reschedule, I was told that this wasn't worth their time. I asked what the issue was and the owner hung up the phone. I would not reccomend using this contractor unless you have someone who is always available onsite to show them the job. Their pricing is not bad, but their proffessionalism is horrible. There are plenty of other plumbing service providers out there that do just as good of a job and won't treat you so poorly. This is the last time that I will call this company.

great. They were very responsive and fixed the toilet and leaking issue with no problems. Highly recommend given promptness and level of service.

Carmine and his coworker arrived on-time and were exceptionally easy to work with. They were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The job involved more plumbing work than expected, but Carmine stuck to the phone estimate that he provided me prior to starting the work. He also helped with a problematic washing machine drain pipe and consulted with me on a couple other minor plumbing issues. This is the third time that we have used Carmine Aumenta Plumbing and we've been extremely satisfied each time. We would highly recommend Carmina Aumenta Plumbing to everyone. In my experience, it's been hard to find a good, honest, and reliable plumber and we found a gem here!

Originally, work done about 6 months ago, but fitting came loose. Called this morning, came out promptly, tightened dishwasher fitting AND tightened other fitting under sink! Explained sometimes hot water can cause dishwasher attachment to loosen. Really happy with htem. They came through, and saved me from serious damage to my cabinets (again)! Highly recommend these guys. They rock.

Fantastic service. Came over the same day and made the repairs. Efficient, professional, and clean! Very happy with them.

The furnace had been making odd noises and hadn't been working properly. Ben and his colleague inspected it and initially found it to be working okay, but they went ahead and opened it up and cleaned out the individual parts. Ultimately, they found that some water from condensation had backed up into the tubes and was the cause of the odd sounds. I'm a teacher and my schedule isn't flexible, but they were able to come the very next afternoon (I called at night) after I got home. Super nice guys, not at all pushy, and no b.s. After 10 years in Hoboken and a lot of poor service from other companies, this was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend. I know I'll use them again when the need arises.

When I called this company I had been waiting for another well known company for about two days that had failed to show. After I called Carmine and explained the situation, he informed me that he would be able to get a crew over that afternoon. He called back shortly after to confirm the time that they would arrive. They were on time and professional. They were able to give me a quote for the repair and after accepting they quickly got to work. The location of my hot water heater is also in a challenging location, so this was no easy job. They were careful not to damage any of the finish work that surrounded the water heater. Ultimately, within a few hours I had my hot water back and was very glad I called this company. I would definitely recommend them and hire them again.

Job was well done and my only complaints were some sediment still left in tub after new shower on/off knob installed. Drain should also have been covered to prevent sediment from blocking up drain which is what happened.Also although job was done very well I think the owner could do a better job being more customer friendly as I clearly did not know some of the "lingo" being used in him describing elements of job so it would be a better experience if he was more accommodative in that regard. But quality was there & I would use them again...

They felt that the problem was not an issue and there was no new water. They did notice that our hot water heater was starting to corrode and that it was due to be replaced. They were able to switch out the water heater that day, as well as re-route some pipes that were not properly sealed. Every step of the way they were clear about the price and I couldn't have asked for better, faster service. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to friends.

Very good professional work ( Aug 16 2013) by Dan and Ben and well satisfied with installation. Waited till Winter weather ( furnace running) before writing this.[ Original 1 in black pipe had 5 clamps /5 pin holes ] Price moderate but in line with 2 other Plumbing contractors Used Carmine again on Oct 22 2013 installing new laundry tray brass faucet and recoonnected to existing Hot/Cold water piping Excellent work and price

Our townhouse had previously had an issue with the plumbing in the kitchen, which caused damage to our neighbor's garage. After being informed the same issue may have happened again, I called Carmine to see when they would be available to check it out. Despite it being after hours, and during a fairly significant snow storm, Carmine immediately answered and informed me he would be available the next morning. True to his word, Carmine and his son arrived promptly the next morning and conducted a thorough inspection of our kitchen appliances, HVAC, bathroom, and neighbor's garage. They did not find anything wrong with anything in our house, and, although they could have spent a lot of time ripping things apart, putting them back together, and then charging us for all the work, they did not charge us anything for the visit. My in-laws have previously used Carmine as well, and also would highly recommend his work.

I called them off the site this morning, and after giving my information I was told that because they are in my city today they would stop by sometime. A few hours later I got a call from Bob and he appeared almost immediately at my home. I showed him the problem and he gave me advice. Upon examining our heating set up he made some further suggestions and seemed very honest. He didn't charge me for coming by as goodwill for future work. We of course will be calling them back for additional work.

We called Carmines to deal with a pipe burst. We had tried 3 other plumbers all recommended by word of mouth but they were too busy to help us. Carmine explained that despite being busy, as a previous customer, he would be with us that same day. A couple of hours later he and another plumber arrived, they fixed the leak, explained that we would need more work done to repair things when the weather got better tidied up and left. My only regret is that we didn't phone Carmine first - we will next time.

As always, this company has bent over backwards to get someone to me ASAP. On a previous visit, it was stated that the valve may need to be replaced, so no surprise there. The valve was replaced and everything is now working.

Spoke to Carmine on a busy Monday and a couple of hours later he came by to fix the water pipe. He took his time to evaluate the problem, fix it and made recommendations so that it will not occur again. I will definitely use them again.
