Description of Work: The furnace kept clicking but the pilot would not ignite the night before. He looked over the entire water gas boiler system. Double checked it multiple times to make sure it was operational. He cleaned igniter and burners. The repairman arrived promptly and was very quick at responding to our needs. He pointed out some things that needed watching, took pictures of parts that may need to be replaced in the future to keep in file. We were very please with the service. He explained how the system worked so that I could understand what was being done. Did not try to do expensive repairs that was not needed which could of happened as I know nothing of this type of work.

Description of Work: Called them based on Angie's List reviews when my hot water ran out after only 15min. From internet research, I had a feeling it was a bad dip tube, and with a 10yr old heater, figured it was going to have to be replaced, but first wanted them to come check it out. Had no problem scheduling an appointment, the plumbers showed up in the promised time-frame and thoroughly tested to make sure there was no other problem. Once they confirmed the problem, and recommended replacement, they were able to call back to verify availability of a similar model and arrange for a replacement appointment. I was very happy with the friendliness, quality of work, and professionalism of everyone involved from the initial call through final installation. I recommend them, and will use them again.

Description of Work: I hired CARMINE P. AUMENTA PLUMBING AND HEATING to repair a leak in the ceiling of my guest bathroom. The owner's son arrived 15 minutes before the appointed time. He completed the job quickly within one hour. He was very courteous and professional and he left the area clean. I will definitely use them again for any plumbing needs.

Sadly, when the water came back on it caused the pipe to burst further up the run - so they fixed that too! |It went really well - I would not hesitate to use carmines for all of my plumbing needs. In fact, these days they are my first , and only, call.

At both residences, the provider arrived early and completed the work professionally, doing a good job of cleaning up all signs of their work. They, also, honored their initial quote.

Description of Work: I called and requested same day appointment as needed Jacuzzi fixed for walkthrough for house sale. Were extremely polite, responsive, and professional. Were clear on the phone that they might not be able to fix the issue but agreed to look at it. Showed up on time -- and fixed the problem within 15 minutes. Unsolicited -- provided a written report for the broker on the situation which was very helpful. Were extremely professional and polite. If I was not moving out of the area I would use them again !!

The invoice described the work as: "Disconnected and removed dishwasher. Repaired section of discharge hose for dishwasher. Supplied and installed Moen single lever kitchen faucet with spray.

Description of Work: I had water stains and believed there was a leak. two service men came to my home, inspected and they could not find a leak. They recommended that I cork around tub, paint ceiling and if it happened again, they would come in and start tearing into pipes and find the leak. They were professional and did not talk me into work that was not necessary.

Description of Work: I have had an ongoing problem with a leak coming thru my ceiling for almost a year. I hired a Contractor Fernando Mendez DNA Mendez Contractors of West New York NJ. Three times these people came to correct the leak which was coming from the shower upstairs. They grossly overcharged me after they claimed The problem was corrected. 6 months later and after painting my Kitchen the leak was back. I called Carmine and he immediately knew where the problem was coming from. Carmine's people 1. Opened section of ceiling to locate leak from second floor shower. 2.Replaced shower pan, drain and tiles where removed. 3.Installed pressure balanced chrome single lever shower and tub valve. Carmine hired a sub-contractor Key Z Construction Azad Alli to do the tile work. These people are phenomenal. I am grateful.

Description of Work: Well, this company gets my first ever review on Angie's List and it is not a good one. Contacted them by phone on Monday February 4 to request an estimate on installing two bathroom vanities that I already had delivered. I just needed them to be assembled and hooked up to the plumbing. I spoke with Carmine who said he would call me back to set a time to come out and take a look at the job. Rest of Monday...no call back. Tuesday....no call back. Wednesday....I call THEM back to see when they can come. He says they can come later that day. Carmine does come to my home and leaves his helper in the car outside with the motor running. He takes a quick look at the job. I also asked him to take a look at my jacuzzi tub which has not worked since the hurricane to see if he can price that in the job too. He declined to look at that and said he would take a look at it if they get the vanity install job once they are here and worked. He was here for 5 minutes maybe. His attitude was very nonchalant and kind of acted like this whole thing was a bother. Which it apparently was, because I never heard from him again. He clearly did not want this job. So I found someone else on Angie's List who came out promptly and did the work for a fair price.
