A neighbor recommended DeLorenzo Contracting to us as a reliable contractor who did good work. In the interest of full disclosure, although we had never met Rob & Julie previously, they live right down the street from us. Rob & Julie were prompt in responding to initial inquiry and providing an estimate for the costs. The job was challenging due to some plumbing issues that needed to be fixed and the age of the home. The work took a little longer because of this and overall took about 4 weeks from start to finish. The difference in the bathroom from start to finish is incredible. Rob worked hard and diligently to provide good service and we are pleased with the finished project. In addition, Rob fixed our front storm door which was not closing properly and installed a GFI receptacle in the bathroom for us. We appreciate the thoroughness and excellent communication on every aspect of the job and would recommend this provider.

After moving into an eighty-one year old house in late 2012, we knew we wanted to utilize as much space as the house could offer and decided to renovate a completely unimproved basement. This was going to be a major project due to uneven concrete floors, low exposed joists, tight stairway, small well-aged windows and antiquated electric and plumbing. I looked and shopped for a contractor who I felt could deal with all the imperfections as well as one who could maintain a sense of balance and cooperation as the project unfolded. Rob DeLorenzo ended up filling those requirements to a "T". Long story short, Rob handled the design changes, surprises and "old home" challenges with aplomb and while I would have liked a faster pace, he stayed on a reasonable schedule and on budget. I am happy to recommend DeLorenzo Contracting mostly because of Rob's three strongest attributes: 1) his pleasant and accommodating demeanor, 2) his fervent desire to produce a quality product, and 3) his broad building skills. Rob also provided the name of a plumber (R Zeek Plumbing) for the project and after comparison shopping these services I chose his recommendation. I'm happy with that choice as well, and the two contractors worked well together to accommodate potentially conflicting work actions and scheduling.

If we could give Rob and Julie (his wife and business partner) six stars in all areas, we would do so. They were professional, easy to work with, and completed high quality work. We were under tight time frames to complete all our remodeling to prepare our house for sale. Rob & Julie were super responsive and flexible with our project lists. They were committed, hard working, and also worked very efficiently. Rob demonstrated superb attention to detail in his installation of new ceramic shower tile, with his tight grout lines and perfect alignment of tile design. He also has a good grasp of what home styles/fixtures look good & what doesn't as well as what is trendy & what's not--things that were important as we remodeled and staged our house. Julie is a top notch business manager who handles all the details, the material costs, and the scheduling. She stayed on top of all the detailed communications, with the constantly changing project lists. She also handled painting and assisting Rob. They were a great team and most importantly, they always put our needs FIRST. Best of all, throughout the stress of remodeling, staging, and moving, they were cool and calm and helped us get perspective. We just listed our home yesterday & had the professional photographs taken & the home looks FABULOUS. Rob & Julie took a so-so home and turned it into a house that looks like it's had lots of TLC and professional designing. Realtor says she's already receiving calls from people who want to see it. We're moving to South Carolina for retirement and wish we could take Rob & Julie of R DeLorenzo Contracting with us!!
