I thought this was a tune up. They gave me a list of replacement parts recommended to preserve the life of the door. The estimate was almost the Groupon price of a new door installed. There is nothing wrong with the operation of the door just a bit noisy its 10 years old. I expected them to tighten and adjust things.

It went very well Sal arrived on time in a great professional demeanor very friendly. We reviewed the problem and Sal gave me a few options to consider. I let him know what to do this time around and he proceeded with a great deal of skill with a wonderful attitude and the job was completed in short order.They also went out of their normal area of service to provide servcie to me which I greatly appreciated.

They called before getting here and the office called me to remind me they were coming that day. He got here on time and was a very pleasant and professional person.

After waiting 3 days for the first appointment it worked for less than 1 month. The same problem came back & after waiting the whole day for the tech to call us , we were informed he would walk us thru to fix or find out what the problem was or wait 4 days for a appointment. Terrible service. Made a joke on how I was trapped in the garage & couldn't get my car out. Would never recommend this company.

All work was done and garage door open now closes on the first try. Door was not balanced and this caused the door to reopen if the close button was not held. door is now very quiet with all new parts. First time service was done on door in 15 years.

Outstanding Company Scheduled the appt. Received great confirm email. Sal was amazing.He arrived on time and Reviewed what he was doing and installed a great opener. Also recommended one upgrade which I had him install. Would highly recommend TGS.

Arrived on time and stayed for close to 2 hours aligning and balancing garage door. Also reapplied bottom rubber piece and greased all rollers.

That was fine. I would use them in the future.

I purchased the Angie's list and the appointment set-up process and the person I spoke with was very good and they came out pretty quickly. The technician came timely and I told him only issue I had was that my remotes were not working. He blamed it mostly on the manufacturer of the garage door and said they always have issues with this particular manufacturer. That was it he got to work. Awhile later he rang my door bell and explained what he had done and it was an additional cost which ended up being $85.85. I do understand he had to do more work than a routine tune-up but I should have been made aware of the cost before he did the work. At that point I had no choice I had to pay it. The cost was not exorbitant but I felt I should've been made aware of the cost before he performed the work. He fixed my remotes but now one of them stopped working again. So not sure what the issue is but for the above reason alone I would not recommend this company. Then he left and was in his truck and I tried to use my keypad to close the garage and it did not work. I had to run down before he left and tell him so he did come back up and fixed it. It was just sort of unprofessional. Maybe it was just the technician I had. I saw other reviews stating they were made aware of an additional price before the work was done, but this tech did not do that or even say that to get the remotes to work it's gonna cost more.

This is my second experience with Angie's, and both turned out to be somewhat of bait and switch. For for garage service, I was looking for basic tune up. My cost ended up being the same as what I spent for an entire garage door , yet I only had pulleys springs and wheels replaced. I expected to pay somewhat more than teaser price, but not almost 4x. That said, service tech was punctual and very professional.

Came in time, inspected the door and performed the tasks as expected. Also, provided an estimate for garage door lining replacement.

They worked quite well for me. They were on time. Everything was fine. They did what they promised.

Was having an issue with my door while it was closing. After explaining the issue to Jonathan the Tech, he knew immediately what was wrong. He completed the job in a timely manner and the door works and closes better than ever before. Very happy with the work. Even the girl (sorry forgot her name) who scheduled the appointment was very nice. I would definitely recommend this company.

Overall, all went well. The crew was very professional and did a perfect job. They adviced me of some potential repairs I might need in the coming years due to the age of the entire system but were not pushing me to get them done right away. The doors have been working perfectly since they installed them. I would definitely use this compavy again.

Replaced two garage doors with new ones. They were punctual, did the job when they said they would, and were personable and professional. I would recommend them.

Scheduling was easy and the person arrived on time and did his work professionally. We are happy about the service. On arrival we asked about replacing the garage door weatherstripping. We felt it was towards expensive side, but since we liked the work he did on the garage door, we felt it was worth it.

Jackie in the office gave me a great time for the sales men to come and give me an estimate. It was a delight to work with Pedro picking out and designing the new garage door and the Tech installed it while I wasn't home and left the garage so clean and put all my sons' toys back into place! I don't know the tech's name, but they were all great to work with on this project! Thank you TGS!

The guy inspected the doors, sprayed lubricant and also fixed two loose screws for the garage railings. He provided suggestions on potential repair/upgrades and also provided related price quotes.
