Bill responded with a phone call within seconds of my hitting the "Enter" ket. He arrived soon after, and studied the problem with me, tried the usual diagnostics, and decided that the computer had a propriety raid configuation almost impossible to figure out. He recommended (and I accepted) taking the machine back to his world, where he installed a new hard drive, and OS, and a few days later, returned the "working" machine back to me. Cost was reasonable I expect to request additional services from him soon.

Bill called within minutes of my Service Magic request. He came to my house and looked at the laptop. He gave me a receipt for the laptop and took it to his office for diagnostics. Unfortunately the hard drive was fried. He replaced hard drive and re-installed programs for about $300. My husband supervises tech people and Bill walked him through the efforts to diagnose the computer and we felt good about the repairs.
