Oxymagic Carpet Cleaning The Greener Carpet Cleaner

He was very thorough and detail-oriented. We have had 3 dogs in our home over the last few years and he moved our sectional and removed all remaining hair and cleaned all pieces of the sectional (including every cushion). He did such a great job that I don't think I'll ever shampoo my carpets myself ever again. I cannot praise him enough for his attention to detail. I tend to be a perfectionist and he made me very happy! By coincidence we used Bryan in our old home 7 years ago and loved him then too. We didn't even know we had called the same company. He remembered us! I highly recommend this company and Bryan. I will use them again and again.

It was very easy to set up an appointment with Tom and just as easy to reschedule when the weather turned. This past winter was particularly h****** our carpet and because we are a walk-up the carpet was very soiled, especially on the first two floors. The carpet now looks bright again. Bryan, who came to do the work was very thorough and careful to work around our 100+ year banister and railing. Our hallways are only 3 feet wide and I was happy to see that the equipment Bryan used did not scuff up the painted walls, which has happened before with the large hoses used by the conventional wet vacuum cleaners. Even though it was a damp day outside, the carpet was completely dry by the end of the day. I think it took longer than normal for this technique because Bryan had to go over the dirty areas twice, and because of the weather. The carpet did dry faster using this method rather than the wet vacuum, and there is no lingering damp smell. I was given a quote of $500 from a company that uses the conventional wet vacuum, $60 less than Oxymagic, but I was happy to try this new method and I will be using Oxymagic again.

I needed someone to come and clean the carpets within 24 hours, called and spoke with Danny, he did not work in my area, so he called a colleague of his in my county and returned my call within 1/2 hour which I thought was fabulous. Robert called and we set up the appointment for the next morning at 10...he arrived a 9:30 which was very much appreciated. Robert came in explained what he has going to do and told me he would be done in an hour or hour and half. The carpets were great. Robert did a great job and very professional. I would definately use their services again. They all played teamwork to get my carpets clean within 24 hours and that was definately worth the money in itself. Thanks so much!!

The carpets look and smell great. Cleaning took less and 2 hours. Carpets dried very quickly. So glad I cleaned them. We were thinking of replacing them since we thought they were beyond cleaning. Look like new.

They give you the most ?bang for your buck?.

Bryan arrived on time at 9:30 am. I had prepped the house by removing all junk on the carpeted floors to be cleaned and removed small stuff on dressers so that light furniture could be moved to clean behind and carpet was free from clutter. I knew this would make it easier for the cleaner so I would get a more thorough job and it could be done more quickly to everyone's benefit. It took about two hours for Bryan to clean the rugs. As promised, rugs were dry within the hour and Bryan had done a very thorough job. Results looked excellent, especially for an eight year-old carpet, which now made the rooms look brighter. I vacuumed shortly after Bryan left, as the instructions at the bottom of invoice say to do. The smell was a clean smell that went completely away within a couple of days. I had realistic expectations and the job well exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them for carpet cleaning. No surprises. Price as agreed upon when estimated over the phone in speaking with Tom. Will use again. I've used Chem-Dry and Stanley Steamer in the past, and I much prefer this Oxymagic system over the other two. We are having renovations done on our house, which involved dry wall, sanding, and lots of dust all over the place. We reached out to Oxymagic based on Angie's List reviews. Communication with Tom was great-- he gave me a quote over the phone and we set up a time for the cleaning. I actually went into labor the morning of the scheduled cleaning, so we left a note and some money, and informed our contractor that a service tech would be coming. The job was done beautifully, and it was so nice to come home to nice, clean upholstery and rug areas with our baby! Seamless service! Would highly recommend!

Thought I hit the jackpot! Boy, was I totally wrong!! I called Thomas Anthony (Tom), owner Oxymagic, to get the temple?s carpet cleaned for a weeklong program of daily events of dignitaries, etc., from Sun., 3/9/14 through Sun. 3/16/14 - big event/official day. On Tue., 3/4/14, Tom (owner) and I walked through areas to be cleaned. I showed him all stains (entry way due to snow/salt) and few scattered dark spots in aisles and front of church. Tom assured me he could definitely handle the job and clean the stains; he has several churches/temples as clients. Thurs., 3/6/14, Bryan, technician came to do job. I came out of office (plastic on shoes) to just check on him/see if everything ok. I noted once the cleaning machine was left on with him nowhere in sight for minutes. I also noticed that the stains weren?t coming out after he?d gone to another area to clean. I politely asked him why the dark stains weren?t coming out; that Tom said his cleaning product - superior to others which saturate carpeting - could remove stains. I said I'd call Tom. I let Tom know Bryan was having difficulty with the stains; they weren?t coming out. He said he?d call Bryan to find out what procedure he was using, after which Bryan tried to explain to me that the cleaning solution would crystalize and then he?d go over it with the large machine. It still didn?t work. One other Angie?s commenter mentioned s/he thought water was being used. I started to think he was spraying water from the handheld sprayer on the carpet stains because they look worse than before. Bryan, tech, told me the carpet would look better when it dried - it would get lighter. When he (Bryan, tech) left, I figured I?d trust that things would look better after drying and I should be patient. I paid the bill and tipped the tech $20 (I guess I wanted to believe him, Tom (owner), the rave reviews on Angie?s list, and the SuperService awards given this vendor by Angie?s List.) I waited two days until Sat., 3/8/14 before letting anyone walk on the carpet (Tom told me his solution dries in an hour, but I just wanted extra precautions), but to my dismay, the stains were now darker than before. The entryway is so bad that I?m literally mortified and thoroughly embarrassed. Why would this company promise something they couldn?t deliver?? The pastor entered and asked when we were going to get the carpet cleaned. I called Tom and left a voicemail message of my disappointment; he had the tech return my call. The tech?s explanation, no one can promise to remove stains and he knows how bad the entryway looked. Why then are they in this business? This isn?t oil, paint, lipstick, etc., - they?re dark stains from winter wear (water/ice/snow). AND, the cleaning machine left permanent marks/lines/patterns in the carpet - some horizontal, some vertical - over all areas the machine was used that don't change/come out even with vacuuming! I?m considering contacting a consumer agency to report this and get a refund. The weeklong events are starting with a large culmination on Sunday, 3/16/14, and I chose the worse substandard service vendor to help at such a critical time. This was my first Angie?s List attempt, and I think it?ll be my last.

Very very happy. We've used other "steam" based services before, and the Clifton team blew them away on all fronts. They came exactly at the agreed time, were highly professional and polite, and did an amazing job. The cost was very reasonable for the sq. ft. they cleaned. More so, the technician was very friendly, and didn't try to oversell. This will become our new 6 month ritual as it's cost effective and they are super to do business with.

Pete was prompt in answering my call and scheduled the cleaning for two days later. He arrived on time, got right to work, and did a great job. I've had steamcleaning a couple of times since I moved into this house with all the carpeting, and I wasn't dissatisfied, but now I realize that I should have been. Pete did so much better job--worked on spots they hadn't really worked on and even got some longstanding stains out. My daughter's room's light-colored carpet was a mess, and now it looks great. Even she noticed. It cost me a little more than I have paid previously, but it was worth every penny. I have already marked my calendar to call Pete again in 6 months.

They did a really good job. They were definitely professional, the guy, Brian, actually saved me a little money compared to other quote that I got over the phone so that was definitely helpful. They were good guys and easy to work with.

Got the appointment for two days after I called! Prompt service; job done in 30 minutes expertly.

When I first called to get an appointment guy said he would call my husband to set a date/time to come to the house and test our tiles to see if the product worked. The person called my husband and was already at the house and ready to do the whole job. Since my husband was still at work and one hour drive away the job couldn't be done however the gentleman did test the tiles and gave an estimate. We were disappointed that we would have to wait 2 weeks for them to come back out. However, the gentleman who did come out did a very good job. He was on time and professional. He left the house quite clean and in general my husband and I are very happy with the results. We would use them again.

A family is ill so means that we have many people in and out of our home. They were fabulous! They are so good that I have contracted to clean the carpets the 25th of November. I highly recommend them, which I have to many friends!!

Really well. Diligent about testing all of the surfaces before cleaning, which was wise because they weren't tolerant of the shampoo. Very honest, fair. Will call again.

It was a very good experience from start to finish. They called before they came over. They were very professional, courteous and they did a very good job. All the stains and dust came out of the carpet and it looks really nice..the price was more than reasonable. They're coming back to do my mother's apartment.

Pete the owner responded to my call in a timely manner and was able to set appointment for the next day. He arrived close to scheduled time and reviewed what I wanted done. When i asked him if he needed my assistance to set up or move anything he said " sit back and relax" and so i did. He was honest in providing me a trial for tile cleaning to determine if it was truly needed ( which I could see it really was). The cost was discussed before the work was done. I thought the price was reasonable for 3 rooms, staircase, kitchen and foyer. Pete was professional. I will be using his services in the future.

I highly recommend Tom and Oxymagic! We moved out of state a few years ago and rent out our home in NJ. We recently had to turn the home over between renters and you can imagine how difficult that is from across the country. The home has a mix of carpeting and hardwood flooring. The hardwood flooring is not in great shape but I was concerned about putting too much money into it given the lack of control I have over its care. I called Tom to clean the carpeting in the home and also asked for his opinion the hardwood flooring. A less scrupulous contractor may have pushed for refinishing the floors but Tom suggested a far more reasonable option of applying a protective coating to the floor that made a world of difference for a fraction of the cost of refinishing the floors. He also did a great job of cleaning the carpets and stretched the upstairs hall runner that had created a tripping hazard. While I didn't have eyes on the house we did have a friend do a walk through and both he and the new tenant were very pleased with what they saw.

Pete was very responsive when I inquired about carpet cleaning. I received a phone call from him almost immediately and scheduled the appointment within one week. The time fit around my schedule. Pete was on time (early actually) and came in the house and explained the process of cleaning the carpets. He answered all of my questions. He moved furniture and put everything back in its place. Pete was friendly and professional and completed the job in a timely manner. The carpets look great. I would recommend this company to others for carpet cleaning. The carpets are not left soaking wet like some other cleaning companies leave them. The carpets dried very quickly.

On move in day, my family and I realized that the carpets in our new home were extremely dirty. I called in a panic, hoping to get someone out the same day. We were not disappointed! A representative came within a few hours and did a wonderful job with the carpets and an old piece of furniture that the sellers had left behind. The owner called to follow up on the service, as well. We are looking to have them back to shine and polish the hardwood floors too.
