Oxymagic Carpet Cleaning The Greener Carpet Cleaner

The carpet cleaning service was excellent and done very efficiently. I will use there service again.

They came in and cleaned the carpet, removing the difficult stains. They said the carpet would dry in an hour. Because it was raining all day, the carpet took a little longer to dry. In two hours, it was dried and looked clean again.

We haven't had our carpets professionally cleaned since we moved in 7 years ago. We were getting new furniture in our family room so while it was completely empty we decided it would be a good opportunity to give the rug a good cleaning. While we were at it we decided to do all the other carpets in the house - a total of 6 rooms - 4 bedrooms, family room, game room. They charged extra for the stairs which are not fully carpeted, just a runner. (I did think that $40 just for stairs with a runner was a bit excessive but what could I do.) We had used another cleaning company when we first bought the house but weren't sure we wanted to use them again. We were a little concerned with the cleaning methods (chemical, water usage, etc.) of other companies so we decided to give Oxymagic a try. We had moved most of the furniture in the other rooms out of the way so that we could get a really good cleaning (the company does not move beds, china cabinets, dressers, etc.; their equipment also cannot go under beds, furniture, etc.). In the master bedroom we propped up the mattress and box spring on the bed frame. The technician moved those so he could get most of the rug in the bedroom clean which we thought was great. One of the other things that really impressed us was the removal of a stain that previous rug cleaning companies couldn't remove (when we bought the house there was a dark, rubber-like stain on the rug; the previous homeowners advised us they tried everything to get the stain out to no avail, even a professional carpet cleaning company they used couldn't get the stain out; when we moved in, we hired another professional rug cleaning company and they couldn't get the stain out either). The technician went above and beyond getting the stain out. Once he got it up, he said he thought it was gum because it had the scent of cinnamon and the consistency reminded him of gum. So for more than 7 years and at least 2 other professional rug cleaning companies, Oxymagic got the stain out. The technician was prompt, very polite, and professional. With regard to price, when I researched Oxymagic, the price they were charging seemed to be in line with similar services of other companies. However once we had hired them we found other companies who seemed to do the same thing for less money. (However, I found the other companies in those coupon mailers so I cannot confirm what the other companies charged for the stain guard and odor guards so those might have cost more, making the entire project more than advertised, compared to my final cost with Oxymagic). Overall we were very satisfied with Oxymagic and will probably use them again for our carpet cleaning.

Their service was very good. They were polite, they were on time, and they were the right price. Everything was great.

They did a very good job. I thought the priced they charged was very cheap. They got the carpet cleaner than I thought they would be. They came close to Christmas and I was pleased that they were able to accommodate me so close to the holiday season. I will use them again.

fantastic! I called in the morning and they were able to schedule me in that day (it was a Saturday, which is great for me). The technician, Matt, arrived exactly as scheduled at 4:30PM and went right to work. Despite a lot of built up dirt (this is a multiple cat household), Matt did a great job of removing stains and making the carpets look great. Because this is a cleaning process and not a heavy duty vacuuming (although there is some vacuuming involved) there was still a small bit of cat fur embedded in the stairway carpet, but I can't fault them for that (see "multiple cat household" above) and we discussed it and he suggested a vacuuming after the rugs had dried in 1 to 2 hours. All in all, I am very happy with the result- the carpets look great; the response time was amazing and the price was very fair- exactly as discussed over the phone that morning. I even got the "Angie's List coupon discount". Great experience- I will certainly use them again!

Very responsive, fast service and actually moved my service appointment up from 1pm to 11am.

They did three areas and took the time to go over areas that needed more attention.

We wanted to get the carpets in the house that we just purchased, cleaned. We have a small child, so the less chemicals the better. One of the rooms had major traffic stains and another had hardwood floor stain, these stains were all removed easily. Quick service, was on time, and got the job done. No complaints, reasonably priced, and got the job done quick.

I called number and was given Shawn's number; he was the one who handled Lower Manhattan. Overall Shawn was a pleasure to work with. I explain that my Dad has an accident and some blood had been on the rugs. Based on the condition I really did not expect brand new rugs; just wanted a professional cleaning to allow myself to feel better so my Dad could go back home. Shawn always followed up when I touched base and arrived exactly on time as stated. I was extremely happy at the results; the rug looked almost brand new by the time he finished with it. He stated that since no chemicals were every really put down on this rug; his professional chemicals really did the trick AND they sure did. Great job! Used this company once before several years ago and had great results so I called again. They cleaned the carpets for the entire house including the basement- look great. Also had them clean the kitchen floor tile grout- looks great too. They're very professional, punctual and are very wiling to describe the whole process. Would gladly recommend them.

I found Oxymagic on Angie's List and went with them because they had so many reviews and almost all of them were so positive. My experience was the same. I dealt with Shawn in their Brooklyn office (their Manhattan office was very busy so the person there referred me to Shawn who was picking up excess Manhattan work). I left a message and Shawn promptly called me back, was able to schedule my cleaning within a couple of days and was flexible on the time. When he and his assistant arrived, they were very friendly, personable, and professional. Shawn played with my dog, which she loved. They did an excellent job on the rug and the stains can no longer be seen. It was one of the best professional experiences I've had in a long time, and I will definitely use them again for any carpet or upholstery cleaning needs that come up.

I contacted the Oxymagic office at this number. They were very helpful and provided the telephone number for Oxymagic in Hudson County. I contacted this office (I am sorry but couldn't remember the gentleman's name) where he gave me the quote on the phone. My husband was home the day of the job. He stated they were quick, efficient and we both agree, they did a wonderful job!!! Stains were gone and carpet/couch smelled fresh. Would definately use again. I use to contact another big name company who charged me $600 + for the same job!!! Carpets dried pretty quick, couch did take overnite to dry but didn't bother us in the least...

They did an excellent job and arrived on time. The price was reasonable. They were in and out pretty quick just like he said he would.

Did a lovely job. Did need to have him do the edges of the rugs in two rooms a second time but they were done without any hesitation or complaint.

Joe and Kristian showed up right on time. They took a look at the rooms and got to work. The carpet is only about two years old but we had pet stains and spills. When they were done the carpet looked and smelled like new. I am so amazed. They didn't use any heavy chemicals so it just smelled wonderfully clean. They also don't use a lot of moisture which is great, especially for a basement. I am very pleased with all aspects of the service. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them again. Easy to schedule. They described service, cost and gave preparation instructions. Arrived on time and did a good job. No concerns or issues

Robert was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. He was on time and did an awesome job on both the carpets and ceramic tile floor. He was by himself and moved a sectional, sofa, love seat, various glass tables and a very heavy dining room table to clean underneath. And most important, my Staffordshire Terrier loved him. My only regret is that I didn't give him a bigger tip (forgot to hit the MAC prior).

He did a terrible job and made me write to Angieslist to get my money back. I was made to give a good report. The people who came were very nice. There was a problem and I spoke to him. He was rude and he was a bully.

the dirty strip in the area most walked on between the kitchen and back of the house came out great. Other spots didn't come out completely. When he left it looked great, but when it dried you could still see some spots. But they were there for a long time.

So nice to deal with. Carpet looks great! Chris from Yorktown arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. My carpet had pet stains and was a mess. Looks new again. Thank you
