Peace of Mind Plumbing & Heating

I had previously had another company come in and price repairing the temperature mixer in my shower, they told me that I had a highly unusual shower fixture (which is insane because it was a standard Kohler shower mechanism) and that the only way they would touch it, was if they could do a complete rip out and replace of the entire shower unit. That they would have to literally rip out sections of the wall etc... which sounded like clear nonsence. When Peace of Mind came in and took a look, they said no problem they could fix it easily. So, I had them replace the temperature mixer, the shower head and also do some work on the drains running out from my kitchen. They were done in under an hour with all 3 tasks, and everything they had to move in the basement to get access to the drains was replaced and straightened up when they left. I will definately ask them back the next time I need help with a plumbing problem. Thanks...

Peace of Mind Plumbing is the best. I have used many different plumbers around the area and Mike and his partner are the most honest and courteous plumbers around. While snaking the kitchen sink they found that there was years of black build up that looked like mud IN THE PIPES. He said they would try to snake it but if it doesn't work he would not charge me for it. Needless to say they were able to open up a hole and the water started to drain:) It is nice to have a plumber that you can trust.

.They were EXTREMELY diligent, repeating the bleeding process 3 times until the pipes were absolutely clean. And they do the small things that make you want to keep calling them, like wearing disposable booties over their shoes once they came inside so they wouldn't track dirt into the house

We called Peace of Mind after a water line in one of our bathrooms experienced a leak, causing damage to the ceiling and walls of the room below. Michael and Jordan responded promptly, identified the source of the leak, and quickly, neatly and efficiently replaced the leaking pipe. This required cutting into the tile work and sheetrock, which they did in a manner causing the least damage possible. In addition to the professional and courteous manner in which Michael and Jordan performed the work required, they took care to cover their boots with booties to minimize tracking any dirt and muck throughout our home. This was especially welcome as our floors are covered in off-white carpeting. We were so pleased with the work performed that we asked Michael and Jordan to return the following week to install a new kitchen faucet for us. We also recommended them to a neighbor who will be using their services in the near future. We're glad to have finally found a plumber we will be able to rely on for our plumbing needs in the future. Michael and Jordan are highly recommended.

Mike and Jordan were exceptional. Quality service and really care about the customer. Gave very thorough and detailed explanations of the problem and solutions and were respectful of our house. They showed up with all the right equipment and cleaned everything they used in the house and even had boot covers for their shoes. They repaired everything the same day they came out for the house call and worked so efficiently. In fact, they just left the house and did such a great job that I wanted to give this review right away. Very reasonably priced and very professional. If you need a plumber, these are your guys. Michael called back the second day after I left a message and we set up an appointment for that day. He called ahead and arrived promptly. He and his partner were pleasant, professional, and efficient. They had to break the wall (which they did neatly, just removing three tiles) in order to replace a very old drain pipe that had no more threading left. They installed the vanity, sink, and all the plumbing for the sink. They cleaned up well, and the sink looks and works great.

My basement took four feet of water courtesy of Sandy. My immediate concern after the storm was getting my family out of the house until the basement was gutted, properly cleaned and had heat / hot water. The first two had to happen before the third could happen. I called Mike on a Friday afternoon and he called me back 20-30 minutes later and said that he would be able to stop by my home later that night to take a look at what was needed. He gave me a quote that night, I said lets do this. Saturday night he had both the furnace and hot water heater set in place. Sunday night, we had heat and hot water. I gave a C for punctuality because he slept through his alarm on Sunday and arrived an hour and a half late. Based on the rest of my experience with Mike, I'm confident this was an abberation. For instance, he called me Monday after the work was done to let me know the service he uses to collect the old furnace / hot water was having issues with their truck and wouldn't be by to pick everything up until later in the week. He then apologized profusely as if he was somehow responsible for their vehicle. Any plumbing problem I have in the future, I'm calling Mike.

At about 11pm, my water heater started to leak, I called PSE&G was told they could not come until next day. I called Michael, and he came within 30 mins. Cut of the water and gas to the heater. I talked with him about a new heater. The next day he installed it. I own a two family house and this is the second heater I had to replace. His price was much cheapaer than Sears. He also installed a back up system for my sup pump. Have not had any floods in Lodi since he installed it, but I have faith in it , that if water comes again, I can sleep well.

This is the second time we have used Peace of Mind. Mike returned my call promptly, we set a mutually agreeable date and time, and he showed up on time. Mike explained what needed to be done and gave us the price before he began the work. He and his assistant worked quickly and efficiently and were professional every step of the way. They noticed that the toilet needed caulking at the floor and did that also. Another happy customer!

I am beyond satisfied with the work that Mike and Jordan had done. They came on time, did the job in the estimated time of 2 hours and cleaned up before they left. Everything went flawlessly. I found my new plumber and I already recommended the company to a friend.

I wish all business people will be as nice and as professional as them.

All of the great reviews for Peace of Mind Plumbing & Heating Inc. are are justified. From making our appointment for an estimate to the final repair, the experience was excellent. The owner, Michael Petrov, was alway on time; always willing to answer my questions; offered appropriate advice; and finished the repair in a very timely (and neat!) manner. In addition, he even fixed a small leak in our main water cut off valve at no charge. I think he cares about his business and his customers and it shows in his service.

My call was answered promptly by Mike and he offered to come out and give me an estimate. He and his colleague Jordan arrived promptly. They checked out the two flushes and gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable. I decided to go ahead with the work and It turned out that Mike had planned some time to do the work as well which was very thoughtful. When the external leak was fixed it turned out that some parts needed to be changed to get the flush working. Mike offered to do them at the price of the parts. They got both the flushes running .They worked neatly and cleaned up after themselves.. I noticed that they were very careful to put on plastic covers over their shoes when they came inside. I really appreciated the fact that the person I spoke to on the phone was the person who did the job. I have gotten somewhat tired of the big,anonymous plumbing firms. I had been looking for a small plumbing firm with a personal touch and I think I have found it!

They were professional, friendly, punctual, reliable, and they did a good job. His prices seemed fair, and he offers a discount to Angie's List members. The second job, installing the sink faucet, cost a bit more than we expected, but it was still acceptable. We would use them again.

Mike showed up on time to give me estimates and to perform work He listened to me and asked the right questions. Also Mike gave me very good suggestions on how to solve my problems. He worked with me during preparation stages while I was purchasing replacement items and also verified that I acquired correct items before starting the work. All work was completed on time, Mike and his assistant took great care to keep everything clean during the work and cleaned everything after the work was completed. The job was completed exactly as described and on time.

It went extremely quickly and to our satisfaction. When a connection leaked the next day (Saturday), Mike came as soon as he could to correct it - the same day, even though they were very busy with cold-weather-related heating emergencies. "Peace of Mind" is a very appropriate name for this company.

Peace of Mind is very punctual, friendly, and professional. They clean up after themselves. We are very pleased with their work. we have hot water now and I have run both dishwashers multiple times and they are working nicely. we found that their work is excellent- their price reflects that but if you want a really good job done by very pleasant people, i would hire them

The price of $210 was just for Labor (including taxes). Mike, the owner, returned my call within a couple of hours and was able to come over to help me with my problem the same day, almost immediately after we talked. I originally got quoted $450 for parts and labor, the part including a 1/3 Zoeller HP sump pump on hand, I needed at least 1/2 sump pump. Retail price difference is $40 between the two pumps; however, I was a quoted around $550 for the 1/2 HP pump - a $100 difference. The reason for the price difference was a bit dubious to me - something about guaranteeing parts and labor if I purchased the part through him. However, Mike was not forceful about it and agreed to just charge for labor if I picked up the part myself, which I did since there was a plumbing supply store a mile away from my house. To be clear, I don't think Mike wasn't being dishonest; he clearly communicated the two options I had without being pushy. Overall, I'm very happy with the service. Mike and his co-worker were very quick, very clean and respectful. I am also happy with the price I ultimately paid. I will call again if needed.

Mike is excellent! We have used his services a few times now and are extremely happy. He is efficient, reasonable, and pleasant to work with. Never had a problem with communication, always returns calls promptly. I highly recommend him.

Peace of Mind Plumbing & Heating was very professional. I didn't have to keep an eye on them and they did what they said that they would do in a timely fashion. The rates were a little high. We even called them later on when we had a question and they responded immediately.

I called Mike around 4:45pm and he said he'd be over within an hour or two. He arrived within an hour and took a look at my problem. He gave me an estimate and went along with the job. After about 30 minutes worth of work and $181.90 later, my shut off valve was replaced and a frozen leaking pipe was repaired. He was efficient and professional. He even took time out to give me an estimate on two other things I needed repaired. Although a bit pricey, I would definately recommend him. 5/5 Stars.
