Peace of Mind Plumbing & Heating

Michael was an absolute dream. Assessed the damage on Monday, repaired it the next day (Tuesday) within two hours and finished the job with a handshake and a hug.

Peace of Mind has done work in our home and in both of our rental properties. He has fixed the boiler/heating system in one of the rental properties and the toilet/sink in one of the others. In addition we had some piping work done in our main residence and Mike did a wonderful job. Since then we have had other contractors come in for other type of work on our house and when they see the work that Mike did they always comment on what a great job our plumber did. Mike is very courteous and very prompt. Prior to using Peace of Mind I was not a fan of plumbers due to them being hard to be reached, not very polite and always very high priced. Peace of Mind will be recommended by my husband and I to anyone who is looking for a reliable plumber.

Mike and Jordan arrived on time. Put their slippers on and came in. They are very professional, pleasant, and very funny. Mike fixed the toilet shut-off line. It was stuck and I could not turn the water off. He also installed a new shut off valve or pad in the tank for no charge. It was kind of falling apart. The two of them worked on the installation of the new faucet. Not an easy job. The fixtures were so old they had a hard time removing the old side spray. But alas, they got. They cleaned the whole area before installing the new faucet. They took all the garbage with them, even though I told them they could put it in my garbage. No way Jose! I have never seen anyone clean up so well as they did. I have also never laughed so much. Great sense of humor. Have to say it is the best repair experience I have ever had. Would recommend them to anyone. GREAT JOB. GREAT CLEANUP. Wonderful people. By the way Cute Truck!!!!

They were professional and friendly. It was a very small job, but we needed a plumber to get the job done. They wanted to charge us $200 for that job, which seemed high to me.

Michael and Jordan was at my place within 5 minutes from my call. Very professional, and kind. I felt very comfortable speaking with them, and they educated me with the potential issues it could be causing the leaks. Michael and Jordan found the issue, and unfortunately it was not a plumbing issue but rather the walls of my shower. I have to say that Michael and Jordan made me feel appreciated and cared for as a friend rather than a customer. I was hoping it would be a plumbing issue, because if it were, I know I would be in great hands with Michael and Jordan....unfortunately it was not. Thank you guys for your professionalism and care.

Mike and his partner showed up within the time frame that he had set up. He performed the work efficiently and showed me, using a mounted video camera, the condition of our aging sewer line. I was relieved to see that the line was in good shape and Mike said that we could wait another five years before needing to have it cleaned. (I miss all the trees that used to grow by our sewer line, but I don't miss their roots in the sewer line). What puts Mike even higher in my appreciation book is that he had to remove a door to get the equipment in (small doorway) and when he replaced the door, he made it better than it was before he came. He even adjusted the door a little for a better fit. I am delighted to have been introduced to "Peace of Mind Plumbing" and Mike. The name says it all.

Scheduling an appointment was very easy. They pin pointed the problem and gave me a great price. Real professionalism and great service.

It went very well. They were very professional, neat and punchual. Its nice to find dependable contractors.

Michael was amazing! He called me back not two hours after I left a message, and was able to come over immediately even though it was not an emergency. We had just moved into the house, so he took a look around our bathroom to address any questions, and then was able to snake out the drain right there and then. He also noticed that our shower head was leaking and tightened it without us even asking. In the end, we received the 10% Angie's List discount, and Michael emphasized that we could call with any questions. A wonderful experience!

This company is very professional and courteous and respond quickly, I also think that they are a good plumbing outfit. My overall experience is a B because I felt that they were expensive for what they did. Also, I felt that they skimped on quality where I would have definitely given them an A if they hadnt. The reason I say this is because they installed a very basic faucet in my kitchen, and for a few dollars more could have put in a much nicer product and made me much happier. Also, on one of the toilets they worked on they replaced all the insides (it was really old) but didnt fix the actual problem which was that the toilet kept running. The reason this was happening was the the flush level was all corroded inside and kept getting stuck, so i have a toilet with new insides but the problem is still there! A flush lever costs $5 and would have taken them 5 mins to install. For the money I spent I expect not only great service but good quality materials and no cut corners (the other toilet had the lever replaced).

They came when we needed to considering it was an emergency. They performed the work and we never had an issue thereafter.

Did a great job....very professional, very polite, did excellent work. Price was very reasonable. I will be using again for sure.

Looked on Angie's List- Found Peace of Mind Plumbing- Called- Quick response- Made anappointment to come by between 4-7Pm Had two calls to let me know how close they were- got ther on time. Nice Guys- HAd it figured out in about 15 minutes-gave me a price which I felt was low-did the work-PRESTO open drain- Gave me some good information on how to prevent it from re-occuring. Paid tehm AND They were gone. I would refer these guys to any friend,or family member. YOU DO GREAT WORK GUYS- THANKS STEVE B

We got home from work on a freezing day in January, and went upstairs to discover that, while the thermostat was set to 68, the heat was perpetually running and the temp was up to 80 degrees! It was evening (about 7pm) and I couldn't reach my regular plumber. I took a chance on Peace of Mind. I spoke to Mike on the phone and he promised he'd make it over later that evening. He came around 8:30pm, was able to diagnose and repair the issue (a broken zone switch on the furnace), and also helped me out with advice on other heating/plumbing matters, and by replacing a broken thermostat (on a different zone). His price was higher than what my regular plumber would have charged (he said he would have charged $210), but Mike came after hours, right away, and threw in some extras like the thermostat replacement and plenty of advice. So overall I was very pleased. Mike seemed very knowledgeable and was easy to work with. I recommend Peace of Mind Plumbing & Heating.

The entire experience was excellent. I am very relieved to have found him, because I trust him to the job and know that he will treat us fairly.

Had a nasty clog in my tub that couldn't be unblocked using conventional means (plunging, hand crank auger, drain bladder) so I called up Michael and to my surprise he was available the same day. He checked out my situation for free and guaranteed that his auger would do the trick or I wouldn't have to pay so I went for it. Thankfully it cleared the clog and they were done in a jiffy. He even answered some other home heating/plumbing questions I had while he was here. Great team, great service and would recommend to anyone. Thanks!

Had a water heater that was about to do a "Sopranos" on me (rupture and flood). I went and bought a water heater and called Mike to install (no problem with installing one that I bought). He and Jordan came out the same afternoon and arrived promptly at the time Mike said they would, only to discover that I'd bought a unit that would not fit. Mike offered to acquire the right unit and quoted me a fee comparable to what it would have cost with me providing the unit. I agreed. The next day they showed up on time with new heater. Upon removing it from box, they discovered it was damaged. They put it back in the box, back on the van and made arrangements to get another one and bring it back for installation (again) the next day. They arrived on time the next day, installed the new unit without issues. Mike and Jordan were totally professional, thoughtful, flexible and punctual. None of the gliches were met with "inconvenience": charges and there were no "surprises". My only complaint is that they don't accept credit cards. Regardless...highly recommended on all accounts and I will call them with all of my plumbing needs in the future.

Michael and Jordan showed up on time and got right to work. Along the way they asked questions to be sure our needs were met. They have pleasant personalities and make the visit enjoyable. Afterwards, they cleaned up and took us around to explain what they had to do and left us with tips. I would use them again and recommend them very highly.

All work was done very well and in one day. They added additional valves to be used in case service is required to prevent the need to drain the water from the heating system.

The water heater overflow was leaking. My daughter discovered it at 10:00 P.M. on a Saturday night. I called Peace of Mind Plumbing and they called me back five minutes later. They were abe to come to the house within a half an hour. The leak was minimized and the water heater was replaced on the following Monday. They came when they said they would and finished their work well under the time they estimated. We had them back to replace a toilet fill valve a few days later and once again came when they said and fixed it quickly. We are considering them for a furnace replacement as well.

It went super well, they were professional, honest, diligent and worked fast. I'm very pleased with their service and will recommend them highly to all my neighbors.

I had a leak coming from the kitchen sink trap. I called Peace of Mind and Michael was polite when we talked about getting it looked at. He came over the next day and left an estimate. I returned home and called him the following day and he told me he can come and get it fixed. Both Michael and his pal were courteous and considerate as they put on shoe covers to get the job started. Michael told me that the trap was not properly installed. After quickly fixing the problem, he tested the water and then showed me that it was leak free. He asked me if I had any questions and he gave me a discount since it was a quick job. I couldn't ask for better quality of service. Thanks guys!

He was able to come the next day. He could not fix the problem because it was not possible, it needed to be replaced. very professional and I would definately use them again.

They were excellent. They couldn't have been better. We were very, very happy with them. They were polite and left everything neat and tidy. They were very, very pleasant to deal with. Their price was fair. I would recommend them to anyone.
