Peace of Mind Plumbing & Heating

Had five plumbing repair jobs. Was able to handle four of them. The fifth proved impossible due to cheap sink. We'll live with it. Very professional, polite, hardworking team of two. Was running late on first try, so rescheduled and they did well on second try.

I originally called them to look at a couple of rusty valves - one on the washing machine and another connecting the water line to the main line - as well as a toilet which wasn't working right. They came out to do a free estimate on the repairs. They were a little unsure of the toilet because it was a pressure assist toilet (instead of the more common kind), but they had a bit of past experience with it so they looked it over and even found that it had been running awhile. They called in to get more info and pricing on a replacement of the inner unit. While waiting for the pricing, I agreed to their estimate for the other repair work and they went about replacing the water valve behind the washing machine and a rusty valve connecting the house water line to the outside line. They also agreed to remove part of a gas line which was not being used. After they got the info on replacing the inner unit on the toilet, they gave me estimates on replacing the toilet with a new pressure assist and with a new standard toilet so I could compare. Talking about the pros and cons of the different types, they seemed knowledgeable enough about them. I eventually decided on replacing the toilet with a new standard gravity type. Just over a week later they came back to install the new unit and remove the old one. They supplied everything necessary and did everything in a timely fashion. I would definitely use them again for any type of plumbing issue.

I called Peace of Mind Plumbing and Heating a couple of days ago to make an appointment for today at 9:00 am. Mike was very professional on the phone and showed up when he said he would. He also called in advance to confirm we were still on. My tenant was complaining about water backing up and bathtub and sink not draining fast enough. I thought both drains needed to be snaked. Mike arrived and after cleaning all the hair in both lines and making sure water was draining properly advised that snaking the drains wasn't really necessary. I appreciate his honesty as this would have been more expensive for me. Since i also had some issues with sewage in the past, i took this opportunity to ask him about that as well. He asked me a number of questions, and again advised that unless i'm getting backed up often, he would not recommend do a complete sewage work that would cost an arm and a leg. Finally, I needed to re pipe my washer connection, and he was able to give an estimate for that as well. I feel he is being honest and someone I could trust for projects/repairs in the house. I will contact him again.

He was very personable and professional. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Everything is working well. Although I had questions regarding other work I might need in the future he did not try to "sell me" and I very much appreciated that.

We can't say enough nice things about Mike and Jordan and Peace of Mind Plumbing. They arrived on time to give an estimate for a handful of minor plumbing issues/repairs. They were friendly and considerate. When we told them not to worry about their shoes, they insisted on putting booties over their feet. They used the side door as to not walk through our home. They took their time and looked at all the issues big and small. We expected to pay a service call fee and they refused to charge us a dime. They provided us useful recommendations and we will certainly have them back to perform the necessary work.

Mike and Jordan were absolutely terrific, especially since my wife and I (along with some friends) totally gutted and renovated our kitchen over the course of two years. We decided to tackle the job ourselves weeknights and weekends, so we were lucky to find a plumber that was willing to work with our schedule. Mike was patient when he needed to be, and available when we needed him throughout all the phases of work?initial planning and estimating, rough-in, and final sink, range, and dishwasher install. The work was professionally-executed, neat, and time-efficient. And his price was competitive and clearly outlined. I would not hesitate to recommend Peace of Mind Plumbing and Heating, and plan to use Mike again in the Spring for some outdoor work.

The entire process went very smoothly, and efficiently. Both men worked harmoniously well together . They took their time and did the job correctly. I recently had a defective installation done by a major chain worker who not only installed the dryer incorrectly, but damaged the vent wall. The plumbing was top notch, with top notch supplies by 2 super top notch guys ! They are very professional and skilled workers. They even patched up and fixed the wall with cement. You couldn't ask for better plumbers. They are the best in my opinion. They truly give you "Peace of Mind".

Fixed my bath room sink, my toilet, and my tub! I am thrilled to be able to have a properly working bathroom again!!

Mike responded to my voice mail message promptly and arrived right on time. He first put shoe protectors to avoid a mess, then started trying to snake the clog. This did not remove the clog, for reasons we found later. It was difficult to determine the location of the clog. So he brought in a roto-rooter and applied it through the sink and the toilet. This still did not solve the problem. So he removed the toilet and inserted the roto-rooter directly into the drain. The snake began to slowly open-up the clog, but kept on hitting something hard. He brought a camera and inserted into the drain. This immediately determined the root cause: one of the pipes was broken and clogged with stones. This requires a more major repair, but for now, the toilet flushes and, for the first time, we know what actually needs to be fixed. I was completely impressed when mike patiently scrapped layers of old fillers before applying fresh filler. Throughout these few hours of work, Mike was very professional and systemic. Moreover, he helped remove a few shower heads that needed cleaning and advised me how to handle them. In summary, it is difficult to imagine a better service quality than the one provided by Mike. THANK YOU MIKE FOR PROVIDING TOP NOTCH SERVICE IT DID INDEED GAVE US PEACE OF MIND.

A very good experience and an exceptionally nice guy and an excellent plumber.

They were very helpful, very cooperative and friendly. They were recommended to me. They came when they were supposed to come. They couldn't do the work at the moment so we arranged schedules to do it in the future and they did it on time.

The bathroom had marble tiles and I was worried about the wall repair after the fixture was replaced. I called several plumbers and they all didn't want to fix the wall after their work. I called around to see for the wall repair, but it was difficult to get people for a small job and a good price. I found Peace of Mind in Angie's list and based on the great reviews, I decided to give them a call. They were very professional, gave me an alternative and did a great job. I were able to do the work and they assured me that the wall round the fixture is going to be OK. They showed up on time and finished the work quickly.

This was the second visit. The first time the pipe was changed. The second leak was in another place behind the wall so the pipe could not be changed. The leak was in my bathroom and water was dripping down so they had to cut the ceiling to get to the pipes. The work is neat and they cleaned up the work area completely before leaving.

This is a job that two other plumbers turned down, and Mike quickly accepted. They were professional, courteous, punctual, and great guys to deal with. Very fair price. Best plumber I have ever dealt with by FAR. I would definitely use them again, and would definitely recommend them.

Best plumber out there. Glad he services my area. Really went above and beyond in installing my water filter properly. Spared no expense and didn't look for an easy way or cheapest way out.
