Peace of Mind Plumbing & Heating

It wasn't quite right the first time they fixed it then they came back and fixed it correctly. They were reasonably priced and they were nice. They showed up when they said they were going to show up.

I want to start out by saying that we really like our current plumber but he just doesn't call us back so we decided to forge ahead with someone else. Mike came by last week and gave us a quote. It was comparable to other quotes we received and based on his Angie's List reviews we decided to give 'Peace of Mind' a try. From the start, Mike was professional, communicated well and was responsive. He arrived on-time and completed the job in the time he estimated. I was very happy with the quality of the installation and the way the work site was left clean when they finished. Mike and Jordan were truly concerned about the work environment and advised my wife in advance that (1) the water would be shut off, (2) there would be loud noises (due to drilling) and (3) foul smell from soldering. I can't say enough how grateful my wife was for their concern, especially since we have a dog. Its something you just don't experience with many contractors - kudos. My wife has already recommended 'Peace of Mind' to a friend and we'll definitely use them for our future plumbing needs.

Mike and his assistant Jordan are the best. This is the sixth+ job that Peace of Mind Plumbing has done for me. They are always responsive when I call them, on time for appointments, professional, personable and courteous, and overall the nicest of guys. They are easy to work with and do a great job. I first contacted them a year ago after renovating a house built in the 1950s. I hired Mike to do some work two separate times involving my washer-dryer, and afterward he was kind enough to walk through our home and check over the workmanship of my previous contractor. He identified a few problems and potential problems and suggested solutions. I ultimately hired Mike to demolish a huge rusting double utility sink in the basement and replace it with a new one. He also discovered leaks in our old sewer lines and replaced them. These were big jobs, and I really appreciated their good workmanship and the fact that they are so neat on their job sites! They always tidy up when the job is finished, and after dealing with so many subcontractors I know this is not always the case. Also, one time my mother-in-law was having a problem with a leaking bathroom faucet. Mike took time out of his busy schedule to come over to her apartment and check it out, did a little work, and he did not charge her. His company name Peace of Mind says it all-- I am comfortable knowing Mike is just a phone call away if I have a plumbing problem and that, thanks to him, my house's plumbing is in good working order. I highly recommend Peace of Mind Plumbing to everyone.

I last used them in the end of December or the beginning of January. He put in a new furnace. We have had him for other things as well. The job went very well and he did it in one day. I asked them if they wanted to stop for lunch but they refused, they ordered pizza and ate it in the basement. They started eight in the morning and finished seven at night. They left it very neat and we had no problem with it. There was an electrical problem in the wall and he suggested his friend. He discovered that there was a problem with the thermostat and he put in a new one. Both of them cleaned up completely, it was as if they were never there. The first time that the plumber came, he and his helper covered up their shoes. They were very thorough with the cleanup. The work was perfect and the cost was comfortable. There was one thing that was a little expensive but it seemed like a fair price. He was responsive and he called me back right away when I first called. He came when he said he would and was on time. I was very impressed with his professionalism.

A trench had to be dug and piping laid for my generator. The work was completed as expected, and the site cleaned up. Both Mike and his assistant, Jordan, are professional, respectful and competent. It is such a relief to be able to know that I am getting the best service from the people I entrust to do work for me.

We joined Angie's list on 4/22 and made the appointment for the next day. I picked Peace Of Mind because I liked what people said about them but I especially liked that Michael says he loves plumbing in his intro. Anyone who loves his work is usually great at it. I was right. Michael and his assistant Jordan arrived on time were very courteous and respectful of me and my home. I had a running toilet, two leaky faucets and one leaky tub spout. The toilet was fixed. The faucets got new parts but because they still have a very small drip (due to age not Peace of Mind. Sink is over 30 years old and needs replacing ) I was not charged for it even though it is considerably better than it was The diverter in the bath was fixed in a few minutes. The plumbers were at my home about an hour and a half and my bill was $222.02 which I consider very reasonable. My husband was very pleased as was my daughter. Thank you Michael and Jordan.

I joined Angies List on Friday and contacted Piece of Mind Plumbing that same day. Michael was at my house within the hour. He was very professional and give me an estimate that I felt was fair, and we scheduled to do the job that Monday. Jordan showed up on time and kept me updated as the job progressed. I'm very happy with this company and will recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you Michael and Jordan for a great job.

I called Michael a couple of months ago for an estimate and now that it's getting warmer, it seemed like the right time to get the job done. He had an opening in his schedule for a couple of days after I spoke to him. We scheduled for Friday at 9am. He and his worker were extremely punctual. The got the job done in the amount of time they estimated it would take them. All was done with a big smile. I am very pleased!

He was wonderful. It was fine. He came over on time. He is going to come back to take care of other stuff. The price was really good.

Michael showed up as scheduled after a very courteous telephone consultation and an on site estimate. The job was done timely and neatly by Michael and Jordan. My heat now works and saves me a lot of money with zone valves that work! I also used Michael for a smaller job that was a bit of a rush due to some serious leaking and again it was done on time and on budget.

I had a leaking faucet in my basement, it was replaced with a new one. Everything went well. One of the things that is great about Peace of Mind is the guys will give you advice on repairs that can wait and don't try to sell you things you don't necessarily need. A real pleasure to work with.

We knew we liked these people from the moment they put paper booties over their shoes before entering the house. They were just great. They did a great job. They really went above and beyond and we couldn't be more pleased with them and their work. We highly recommend them.

They came in, they were very reasonable. They were clean, professional, very fast, and didn't leave a mess. They were awesome.

We were provided with all the necessary work that was needed to complete the installation of our generator. I can't describe in detail what was required to do this, but I do know that the work was done properly and passed inspection with flying colors. As noted above, Peace of Mind Plumbing worked hand in hand with Peace of Mind Electric. They both were extremely efficient and the work was done properly and correctly. I don't hesitate to recommend the Peace of Mind Plumbing and will be using them when it is necessary.

Michael answered the call and was extremely nice and friendly. He came by with another worker and fixed the problem in no time!

They were excellent. This was an emergency situation and he was the first to call me back and was incredibly responsive to my needs.

Michael and Jordan were at our house for about an hour. The heating(baseboard) on our ground floor wasn't working at all. They decided to bleed out the pipes because they said the problem could be that there was air in the pipes that could be blocking it. He also told me that if you could hear water running through the pipes every time you turned the heat on that there was most definitely air in the pipes because you shouldn't be able to hear anything at all. This was good to know because we heard water EVERY time we'd turn on the heat! They bled the pipes out for a good 15-20 minutes. Our heat on the ground floor is now working just fine. We will most DEFINITELY use them again. Thank you so much.

Everything went well. They showed up on time, did all of the work we agreed upon and stuck to the estimate that was provided ahead of time. Excellent, friendly and professional service. I will definitely use them again in the future.

From the first phone call to the final installation everything went very smooth. Michael showed up promptly for a quote and scheduled an appointment very quickly thereafter. The guys showed up on time, were friendly and professional. They even were able to do the job for less than the original estimate. Could've gouged me but didn't. I'm happy with the work , and will definitely use them again in the future

The guys were on time, courteous, fully explained the job at hand after showing them the issues we were having (backup of water coming out several areas in basement), explained the cost of the job before starting it, and simply were great. They answered any questions I might have had before and after (even on other issues that were unrelated and recommended techniques we could perform ourselves). They were very quick and efficient with the job and we haven't had any issues since the service. Highly recommended.

Installed a ToTo washlet. Very fast. They knew i have to go to work in the morning, came actually 20 mins before the appointment time.

Michael was very pleasant over phone, which calmed my nerves about using his company. When Michael and his assistant Jordan arrived they were extremely friendly and professional.
