I bought a flat screen TV at Best Buy and had them come by to install it. Instead of doing what we agreed upon, they more than doubled the installation price with "extra fees". Needless to say, I didn't let them do the job. I found Charlie on Angie's List. He came promptly and installed my TV. He also sold me a more heavy duty mount for my TV for less than Best Buy. He quoted me a price and stuck to it til' the end. In the middle of the install he found that one of my wires was worn & replaced it free of charge. I really appreciated that. After he was done, he cleaned up all the dust & little wire pieces. It was a beautiful job. He was very nice, and I really liked that there was NO "hard sell". I hate that. Anyway, as soon as he left, my 10 year old son decided to do pull ups off the new TV mount. Can you believe that? Well it withstood him too. Glad I bought Charlie's mount.

Charlie returned my call within two hours of receiving my message. He set up an appointment the same evening to visit my home and look at the job. Two days later he arrived exactly on time for the appointment we had made and installed the TV wall mount. He did a terrific job and cleaned up everything. He even vacuumed the carpet and molding for me beind the console. Once the tv was installed on the wall, he went through the setup of the TV and the remote and made sure everything worked. I was exceptionally pleased with all aspects of the job from this provider and would highly recommend HomeTronics and Charlie. He was very professional, knowledgable and courteous. Charlie went out of his way to provide superior service.

My husband and I work in finance and we know next to nothing about installing TV and components so we called several companies to provide estimates. We got by before, but since we bought a house, we wanted it done right. Charlie first came a couple weeks ago to give an estimate and worked with my schedule to meet me after 8pm. He is very personable and knowledgeable. He explained everything very clearly and gave us a quote on the spot... $300 for the articulating wall mount for a 46" TV, $150 for RF universal remote, and $200 for labor. I may have been able to buy the items myself and he would have installed it for me too, but I figure he's giving me a good deal on labor that I don't mind paying him for the equipment, even if they're a little more expensive. He came promptly at 11:30am today (on Sunday!) to do the job and got started right away. A few hours later, the TV is mounted and the cable box and DVD player are in the closet and are controlled by the RF remote. The previous owners left the wiring that wrapped from one side of the room to another side where the closet is, but we had no idea how to verify which wire is which. Charlie figured that out, with the help of a handy tool. He programmed the remote and showed us how to use it. Charlie offered to mount the TV in our living room onto the TV bracket left to us by the previous owner at no cost. Unfortunately, he quickly learn that some of the wiring left there doesn't work for us and he had to run a new wire behind the wall and quickly realized he couldn't do it for free. He then saw that my husband's handiwork of connecting the components just didn't make sense and that we are not making good use of our equipment. So, he ended up rewiring our entire system, including providing a new HDMI cable. He also asked me if I hook up my computer to the TV and when I said yes for karaoke, he made sure I had an extra HDMI cable. He gave me a coupler so I can use my current mini display port cable and hooked up the audio mixer properly. Finally, he showed us how to use our equipment that we've had for years! We are now making better use of our equipment and the TV is mounted with no visible wires hanging out. Everything looks great and Charlie did a fabulous job! Worth every penny!

The installations went very good!! Charlie from Hometronics gave me an estimate and took me through each step of the process in great detail so that I would know exactly what he was doing every step of the way. He also offered great suggestions for my home theaters that I hadn't thought of myself. Charlie is meticulous in every way and treated my equipment and my home with such care as if it were his own. I've worked with many contractors over the past 20 years for many different projects and I must say that Hometronics is the absolute BEST that I've ever worked with. I would recommend Hometronics to anyone looking for small, medium, or large electronics projects.

They were very good, very professional and did a great job. They were very quick to respond and really cared about the work. They also followed up after two days to find out whether there was any problem. They explain very well as to what work they are going to do. They are licensed providers. Their prices are fair and they take care about the work they do. I would rate them high overall. I would definitely use them in the future if needed.
