Description of Work: fix the garage door

Description of Work: This was for a garage door tune up and roller replacement, as I recall. The tech dispatched was late arriving, and then I felt tried to upsell me to get special straps to prevent the garage door springs from snapping and damaging things in the garage. Rollers were replaced and one other thing done. When I called the owner to explain what I had been told, he did not charge me for the additional thing his tech did. I was a bit upset that the tech could not correctly adjust the automatic opener, which when he left would not close the garage door. Within five mins after he was gone, I was on the phone with the garage door opener's manufacturer and within five mins I personally had the opener properly adjusted to open and close the door.

Description of Work: I called them to set up an appointment. They said they would come out on Sunday morning. The rep was great and gave me all the options and said they would give me a quote for the extra size that I needed later that day or tomorrow. I waited for them to get back to me but they did not contact me in the time-frame that the rep gave. I contacted them to see what the quote was, but I had a hard time reaching them, and when I did I received attitude. I decided that I don't need to get attitude from someone that is supposed to be working for me, so I'd like a refund.

Description of Work: Long story short. |Quality: it is in place and works. Could it be done better? Absolutely. Much better. | |They did split the joist while installing the frame and told me it was like that. Wood beams they attached were not securely put in and the bolts are loose in both sides. I had to convince them to install it the right way and be there to insure all parts were installed as they kept on skipping the bolts. I had to silicone all seems on outside, cleaned after them and tipped them well. | |They forgot to bring a strut and the lock, both were discussed in a call and during the estimate and included in price. Promised to deliver in a few days. Had to call them numerous times. Every time i was blamed for something, heard another excuse why i did not need those parts in a first place and another promise to deliver. The strut was eventually delivered ( almost 2 month later) and installed, but the lock was not. For some reason it was my fault again that Michael did not have lock again and I'm still waiting for that lock. | |I tried to escalate the situation but all phone numbers listed for them are linked to either a calling service they hire our Michael's phone. It was very disappointing experience and i will certainly not use their service again and will not recommend to anyone.

Description of Work: Replaced 2 oversized garage doors. Work went very smoothly and all contacts with the company were very satisfactory and efficient.

Description of Work: Replaced garage doors and all hardware. Showed up when they said they wood. Did the job as described. Made the doors seal tight to garage which was important to me. Cleaned up, Removed the old door and hardware. The results look great.

Description of Work: Replaced garage door motor, installed sensors and an outdoor key panel. Made sure that the door was safe and conformed to current building code. The technician was polite, on time, clean and professional. I would recommend to anyone.

Description of Work: Remove old garage door opener. Install a new liftmaster 8365.Installed an interior control as well. Rob the techician was very competent friendly and professional. He also made sure I understood how the system worked.

Description of Work: Replaced my garage door with an insulated garage door. Sealed all air gaps. Nice job.
