EZ Overhead Doors

I was thinking it would make the door be quieter or run smoother. Another thing is I wanted them to help me reset the code but he did not know how to service it.

My parents weren't happy with some of the charges with regards to the routine maintenance. Maybe the guy could list some of the things that the deal does not cover so that we can know what is not apart of the routine maintenance. Whatever part that needed changing they had to pay an extra $100 for it. It was done within the past 3 weeks. The door was very squeaky and very little resistance so they change the springs and lubricated the hinges. He sounded like he knew his stuff and he was efficient but it was just that the costs was expensive.

EZ Overhead doors emailed me to call them for an appointment. The technician came on time, did the servicing listed above & explained how everything should normally work. He even lubricated my other garage door. Very polite & professional. Recommend them highly.

Took ages to schedule a time. They then pushed the arrival time back almost 5 hours. But when arrived it was completed very quickly. Very professional team. But since they didn't do much except change the rollers, felt it was a bit expensive for the work involved. It was good to know the doors are in good shape. Would use them again.

Everything was done quickly and easily and my door works great now. I did not see all that was done but there was some spray or lubrication used to help the door move along the tracks better. I think the tracks needed adjustments as well. They reprogrammed the remotes and keyless entry. I am very happy with the service provided and would call upon them again!

I call on the coupon deal. We purchased a new door 2.5 years ago from Sears. Door never worked properly but of course we must have hit the door we were told. Frame bent. Calling sears to look at after warranty would have cost over 300$. Called other local repair company. I was told we would have to replace entire frame... $600++ and charged 175 to come out just to tell us. Left alone until I saw coupon from EZ. The door was not align during installation plus Frame was not secure to boarding on garage that's why frame was bent. Ez did everything on coupon, wasn't necessary, but honored their coupon. Also realign frame for $75 + $99 for coupon. Door works like better than first installed.

I had purchased two garage door tune-ups from EZ Overhead doors via Angie's List Big Deals. Sal showed up on the scheduled day. He was running a few hours late but had called well in advance to let me know and even offered to come after hours any other day if that was more convenient for me, which I thought was nice. Upon arrival, he thoroughly inspected my doors and told me that I did not really need the tune-up and that I could save my $200 if I wanted to. I was impressed with his honesty - after all I had already paid the $200 and Sal could have simply done the job and made some money. Moreover, he proceeded to spend another 20 minutes of his time installing safety cables on my springs using his own materials. When I asked him what that would cost, he said its Free of Charge due to the fact that he had inconvenienced me by scheduling to a later time than we had originally booked. Who does that anymore?! I will always use Sal for any garage door issue. Highly recommended!

GREAT SERVICE...a tad $$$$ and came a day early, then called to confirm appt for next day?? Right hand no communication with left hand!

Great! They were punctual and preformed my garage door tune up. Since my door was getting jammed, we also had to install a zero clearance track to remedy the problem. Overall the price was reasonable and the door works better than before.

I purchased the Angie's list big deal coupon. The crew did what was listed as part of the service in a timely manner. They also provided me with an estimate of other repair items to consider. Why a "C" then? They came late on a Friday and seemed to (somewhat understandably) want to get in and get out as quickly as possible. I've worked with others on Angie's list that are more thorough and take more time to explain not only what they will do but other considerations.

They did a good job. They provided a great service and did exactly was advertised.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased.It was okay. They were very nice and they showed up exactly on the day that we had planned. But one was very weird: they didn't leave any work order. What happened was that my wife and I were away on the day on which they did the repairs but my parents were here. When my dad asked them, he said that it was a prepaid option and basically took off. It was a good thing that we knew about it. Yes, it was prepaid and it was arranged but there should be a work order because who knows who these people were. They could have just pulled up in a truck with some sort of name. In fact, I forgot to tell my father and he actually had to call me in the office saying that somebody has shown up for a repair. The work has been okay but the garage door is still making a little bit of sound.

It was great. They were great. They were really fast and efficient. They even put in a safety line for free but I didn’t ask for that. So that was nice. I would use them again in the spring to replace the doors with some nice window doors. They seem pretty knowledgeable. They seem to have a good price.

Arrived on time, that a biggie because i see a lot of vendors arrive hours late. Very friendly, told me what he was going to do, explained the condition of the doors, explained that one of the door openers may not have more than 6 months left (the gears were grinding).. All in all pleased with the service.

The installer arrived at the scheduled time. He replaced a 20 year old Genie garage door opener and keypad with a new Liftmaster with a built-in light. He also replaced the rollers and lubricated the track. Finally, he programmed the new keypad and remote. I love my new garage door opener which is quiet and runs smooth.

The guys showed up right on time and immediately diagnosed the problems with my garage door. Probably 20 minutes later they were already done with everything they told me they were going to take care of and were even nice enough to put a handle on the door for me. Door works perfectly now so I can finally put my car inside (I was a little afraid to before as I couldn't always get the door open depending on the weather). They did a great job!

Sal arrived to perform an "Angie's Special". We determined that also springs were worn. He had everything on his truck so he gave me a price, I authorized, and he replaced them as well. Works well!

He also did a couple of other things in the service that I paid for from Angie's List so, of course, I had to pay extra for those things.

The entire job went well. Through my fault I missed the first appointment. They very graciously rescheduled my appointment.They showed up on time did an excellent job. Sal pointed out 1 or 2 minor items such as replacing the weather stripping before winter sets in I will definitely have them back to do this. Very professional. Will definitely recommend them.

Arthur Samuels came to do a tune-up on both my garage doors. He was very prompt, extremely professional and did a great job. Afterwards he cleaned up everything so that it was spotless. I would definitely recommend EZ Overhead Door!
