Came on time, was very professional and explained the details of what needed to be done and why. Very satisfied with work completed.

Very courteous and professional crew. They had to reschedule once bc they were stuck at another job; they made sure to call me and not just leave me waiting and again, VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. Arrived early on date of service. Got things done as per request. Were very good about pricing (actually the best of 5 companies I spoke to) and all seems well with new upgraded opener. Install is clean and working as expected. Will definitely let friends and neighbors know to use them for garage work.

I am very satisfied with EZ Overhead Doors! Everyone I worked with was courteous, communicated clearly and very professional. Arthur was a joy to work with and full of great advice as well as doing a great job with my garage door. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was also charming and a pleasure to work with. I will be hiring them again when I need to repair a garage door again!

He came on time. The garage door operates much smoother after the tune-up.

It worked out pretty good. The one thing I would say that was really good about them is they were honest. They said we didn’t need a tune up, which is what we got. We ordered a tune up but they said we didn’t need a tune up, but we did need our garage door opener fixed. So, they applied the money to that, which is good. They could have just come in and said that they would give us a tune up even though I didn’t need it. They had to order a part. They were a little lax in calling back and following up with phone calls and stuff like that but they got it done.

The service was good. They gave suggestions on items to be replaced and I did that with them.

They put all new rollers in the door and made sure it could roll nicely. They check over the door to make srue it was good. They were very good, were prompt and very professional. The pricing was very good with the Big Deal, very reasonable. He came right on time at 8am.

It was great. Arthur was a pleasure to work with - very knowledgeable, very courteous, an absolute expert. I was grateful that he recommended safety cables. When I realized the tremendous damage that could potentially result from one of the springs snapping, I was happy to spend $35, a low price for security. My second experience was wonderful. They were very professional and they blew me away. They were kind enough to not charge me for the work this time. It was a really nice way to start the day.

The only reason this provider didn't get As across the board is because of how many times it took to get a written invoice for the work. My tenant thoughtfully provided their credit card number to the office so that the technician would undertake the work, then, no receipt was left. We each unsuccessfully made 3 calls for one. Finally a VM from me stating I'd be leaving an Angies List review one way or another prompted a very fast email reply with the invoice.

EZ Overhead Doors did a very good job for us. We purchased the $99 garage door tune-up and Arthur came out to our house within a week. We've been living in our house for less than a year (the house was built in the 1960's) but our garage door motor was installed in 1994 and was loud (chain-drive motor, I believe). It also appeared to have trouble opening the garage door over the past couple months. Not surprisingly, the motor blew-out on the week that Arthur was to arrive to perform the tune-up. He spent about an hour in our garage, doing various mechanical stuff, which in the end made lifting the garage door manually (by hand, since the motor was blown out) a breeze. He told me that a garage door that is properly installed could be lifted up by one finger. And that's how our garage door was after the tune-up. He recommended that I call the office to get quotes on a motor replacement. The company offers only Lift Master motors. From my basic research, these seemed to be more expensive than comparable units (maybe on the order of $100-$200 more), but since the company did a good job on the tune-up I just decided to go through them. They also mentioned that they would come back to take care of any future problems (should they arise) free of charge, or at least at minimal cost - I don't recall the specific details at this moment. )They came back out to our house to replace the motor a few weeks later (there were lots of delays because of multiple snow storms). I believe the technician's name was Mark. I chose a mid-level motor as I didn't see a need for the high-end bells and whistles (like internet connectivity, etc.). I wasn't at home during the installation, but when I returned from work that day everything was working fine. He mentioned that the company is pretty small - owner, office attendant, and two technicians (including himself).

Very polite. Showed up on time, did the work as expected.

Arthur was the technician and he went above and beyond to align the door and make it as quiet as possible. He also inspected it and explained the different safety features.

Provider came to my house. My garage door system was too old to have the Angie List special service performed. EZ Overhead door said I should request a refund. Service tech was very professional and I appreciate his honest appraisal of my garage door.

great. happy with the price. was concerned about contacting companies for garage door service as i don't have any sense of how much it should cost and leery of getting ripped off. i feel like i got my money's worth and Arthur was very good with explaining what was covered in my initial purchase and what would cost more. he advised me that the cables, while worn and would need to be replaced at some point, were fine for the time being and were not a safety issue. i appreciated that a lot - passing up on selling me new cables and losing $20 probably gained them a customer for life. It was also evident that Arthur was proud of the company's reputation on Angie's List, which impressed me as well. Not everyone working for a company really cares that much about how their customer's like them. see above for details of the work. also requested a quote for insulation work (weather stripping, thresholds) and will consider using for future work. glad to recommend their service.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it worked out fine. They called to let me know they would be coming a little bit later and they provided the service as detailed on the website. I was very happy with them. They did a little bit of extra work after making a recommendation to change another product. They also responded to my email so that was good. They were very professional.

I wasn’t thrilled with them. I called them and told them about my big deal purchase and I wanted to make an appointment. So we made an appointment and I took off of work because it was in the business hours. The person they sent out was a sales person so he was trying to up sell me upgrades to my garage when all I really wanted was a tune up for the winter. He told me that I had to schedule another person to come out to upgrade it and I finally did that. The guy came out and checked if everything was fine and we ended up replacing the garage doors. When the guy came out to install it he said that our springs were short.

They are great. There was no extra money on top of the Big Deal. Everything I would rate them pretty highly. He came out on time and did a good job. He was very personable. He answered all my questions. I would definitely use them again in the future.

They resolved both problems at no extra cost. Great service!

It was great! I used the service within a few weeks after I purchased the deal. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount.

Purchased Angie's deal. Checked out the door balance, springs and cables. Found they were ok so replaced the rollers and cleaned up the oily track. Checked the opener too and found it was alright as well. New rollers are a bit quieter. Was worth the peace of mind knowing that our 10 year old door system is working well.
