Jeff started the day he said he would, and did 90% of the job on his own due to the fact that his helper was sick until the last day. He did a good job fixing the cracks and the paint job looks good overall. He even painted the radiators, and they look great. He did a fair job cleaning up each day, and was conscientious about sanding around the stereo, TV and kitchen so that there was not dust everywhere. We would not hesitate to use him again in the future. With the exception of a couple of smudges we were happy with the job.

Everything went extremely well. Jeff and Angel were both professional and neat in their work. They went about their tasks very methodically, finishing and completing one room at a time, so that there is as little disruption as possible in the household. Jeff gave an accurate estimate, and the work was finished on time. They are both very good at removing wallpaper and spackling, so there are no rough spots left on the walls. Jeff is an especially adept handyman and can fix just about anything. And he is very good at matching paint. I definitely would use JMK again and recommend Jeff and his helper highly. You will get your money's worth.

Didn't go at all. Jeff seems to be a nice guy, but after 10 days and no estimate, I called to remind him and he responded by telling me how busy he was, and how he would try and remember to do it and get back to me. After 10 more days I gave him a courtesy call to tell him I hired someone else, and he still had not prepared an estimate because he was too busy. I consider the lack of a phone call unprofessional and a waste of my time.

They were prompt, efficient. The work was perfect! They were very,very careful and clean. Everything was put back in proper order before they left. We look forward to doing the rest of the house with them.

We were very pleased both with the cost and with the results. We were on an extremely tight schedule and Jeff did the work on a Saturday to accommodate our needs. Extremely professional and conscientious, we would not hesitate to use Jeff for future projects or to recommend him unconditionally.

Did not receive email following week, so we called him to remind. He says "i still remember and will send you the estimate." Never received estimate. Hope he doesn't post our home pics on net or use for his own purpose !!

Jeff worked his butt off to give us an overall very good paint job within a fairly compressed time frame. He went out of his way to make sure he met the timeline, including working on weekends. He was very professional and responsible, and communicated well with us by phone and text message -- even going so far as to let us know when another contractor had put a hole in a wall (which was repaired), and when we got an unexpected delivery to the house (which we were not living in yet!) Would definitely recommend and use again. **He also did some handyman tasks (repairing some holes in closets, fixing a broken closet door, etc.) for *very* reasonable rates, half of what another handyman gave us a quote for. Jeff has an excellent eye for carpentry and spacklling so very pleased with final outcome. He was very patient and resourceful as new elements of the job presented themselves as things progressed. Jeff painted both our living room and master bedroom. He was punctual and his work was meticulous. I also appreciated the fact that he cleaned up everyday prior to him leaving. His price was fair although he said his Angie's dicount was already included in original qoute when I was ready to present the coupon. Overall, Jeff was a pleasure to deal with and I would use him again.

He was very professional. Everything was written out in the estimate. We got a couple other estimates and he was right in the middle. He did what he said he was going to do and in a timely fashion. He finished when he said he was going to and everything was great. I have no complaints and he was very good. We felt he was reasonable.

We are selling the house, which needs a bit of interior work. Jeff provided a quote quickly after request, and started promptly when we settled with him. He was courteous, asked for our input and suggested solutions. He also took good care of window treatments. He initially said that he needed three weeks to finish the job, but he delivered well before the deadline. He gave us a detailed breakdown of labor costs and material costs, which is appreciated. He even replaced a wood transition strip between the kitchen and the living room for free! Overall, we are pleased with the job that Jeff has done for us.

Jeff was very responsive, came out on New Years day to look a the job and give us an estimate. He was busy, so painting didn't start until early February, but once he started he showed up early and worked long days, making sure each day to help get the house to a state that was workable for us (and our two little kids). Jeff takes his work really seriously, working mostly by himself to make sure it's up to his standards. The end result for us is that it looks like a new house. Super paint job.

Jeff was very easy to coordinate with and came out and gave an estimate at my convenience on a weekday evening. I had Jeff paint my kitchen and laundry room hallway, a complicated task given the various cabinets and obstacles around the areas to be painted. He was incredibly professional and took his time with prep ? everything was carefully covered and masked. Jeff painted over my dingy off white walls and trim with colors of my choosing: a crisp white and navy blue with superwhite gloss trim. It required a full day of work, again Jeff took his time and was careful, took the time to remove hardware instead of painting around it, etc. Everything came out fantastic, I can't get over how much cleaner and brighter everything looks. The gloss white trim really pops from the navy blue, which are fully saturated and evenly coated. I smile every time I walk in to the room. I will definitely have Jeff back to paint again.

Jeff quoted me $1,620 ($1,800 minus 10% discount) to paint a small dining room and large family room (including ceilings) and also replace part of a damaged casing on my front door. Jeff did two coats of paint and also sanded the walls and fixed nail pop and holes. I spent about an additional $200 on paint and supplies. We agreed to do the work in two parts - the dining room before Christmas and the family room after the holidays to fit both of our schedules. Jeff was easy to communicate with over the phone and email. Both rooms look brand new.

Everything went well, from the first call, to the final payment. He was prompt, had the supplies needed to do the job,and cleaned up after the work was done. We were very happy with the quality of the work and Jeff's attention to detail. He made sure he understood what we wanted from the job and was able to complete it within the time frame he stated. I felt very comfortable having him work in our home. He provided receipts for the primer he purchased for the job. We supplied our own paint. We usually do all our own painting, but with a family and having just moved, it was great to have someone professional come in and do a great job in half the time it would have taken us, and less mess!! We hired Jeff to remove some wall paper and paint our stairway and kitchen. Some of the walls he needed to work on where in bad shape. He did a great job covering uneven areas and leaving the surfaces uniform. He was polite, punctual and very pleasant. My only complain is that he left the surfaces quite dusty after sanding and painting. And I kept finding drops of paint in all the wrong places even a few days after I cleaned. Other than that I think the price was reasonable and he did a nice job on our walls.

Everything went extremely well. Jeff Kass thought he could remove the wallpaper without power after the storm, but did not start the painting until the power was restored after Hurricane Sandy. Actually, it turned out to be a good thing to do during this time. Jeff always arrived on time, worked late, and wasted no time. He is a very hard and meticulous worker. He took the time to consult us conscientiously about matching the paint to the previous colors and bought all the materials, including the materials used for the handyman jobs. (He is extremely adept at fixing doors.) Whenever we were faced with a problem, Jeff came up with a helpful solution. He is also very neat, leaving everything exactly the way he found it before the job began. Jeff is courteous, professional, knowledgable, efficient, and reliable. We highly recommend him.

I left a message with JMK painting on Wednesday 10/03/2012. My call was returned later that day. Jeff made an appointment for Friday evening, 10/05/2012 at which time he gave me an estimate for painting the walls of 3 rooms in my upstairs apartment. Upon agreement, he picked up the paint that was needed on Saturday, 10/06/2012 and spent the day painting. He returned the next day, Sunday, 10/07/2012, for several hours and completed the work. He did an excellent job! Within 4 days of my phone message, I had my job completed. Great Job, Jeff!

Jeff and Angel of JMK Painting, performed wonderful painting and related preparations in our home. We are really pleased with their decorating assistance and execution of this home improvement.
