Prompt on providing quote and researched best way to stain fiberglass front doors when asked. Provided good advice on what type of paint to use for each room. Started on time and completed on a timely basis. Kept areas generally clean and did a good job of taking out any accidental drops of paint on floors. Charge based on labor plus material cost resulting in very reasonable pricing. Would use again.

I contacted Jeff and told him the work I needed and my tight schedule. He got back to me with a nice quote, that was detailed, but easy to read. He gave me a schedule which was a bit past my deadline, but he said he'd try to make my deadline, and he did. He did a great job explaining what he was going to do. He explained to me the touch up work would probably be visible, but I told him to go ahead with it, and he was fine with that. When compleated, some of the touch up you could notice if you looked for it and the other part you could not see. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the touch up came out. One the two rooms he did they came out real nice. He was very clean. I did not see a speak of paint on any surface. Jeff was great to work with and I was very happy with the job he did.

tGreat experience. When I contacted Jeff I mentioned that we were having new flooring installed in a week and he went out of his way to get the job done immediately. Jeff and his crew arrived on time, worked non-stop and did a great job that totally transformed the areas he painted. Despite the fact that he ended up doing more than the job specs there was no extra charge. Amazingly, even though I told him to not worry about drop cloths because we were replacing the carpet, when he left there wasn't a drop to be found. We'll be inviting him back next fall to do another couple of rooms!

Jeff Kass and his crew of painters are extremely talented. They painted the walls, doors and trim of our entire house (except for the kitchen): living room, dining room, family room, five bedrooms, three bathrooms, laundry room, stairway, foyer and upstairs hallway (plus two ceilings). The crew showed up every day when they said they would and worked very long days to complete all the painting within a week. They managed to do this even though we added a few extra doors and closets as the work progressed. Jeff also replaced some hardware (knobs, hinges) on several doors so that they'd all match and show off the fine paint work. Jeff's team works very clean and he and the fellows are very personable and polite. We were quite pleased with the results. JMK Painting is highly recommended. We interviewed three painting companies and are very glad we chose JMK.

Jeff was very responsive and very professional. He picked up the paint so as to use his contractor's discount which was greatly appreciated. I had a issue with a pipe behind a wall - hence the drywall work - and he contacted a plumber colleague who came the same day and fixed the leak for a nominal fee, saving me the time and hassle of setting it up myself. The work took a day longer than initially estimated but I attribute that to Jeff's attention to detail; the quality of workmanship is very high. I would recommend Jeff and would certainly use him again.

Called the night before to confirm appointment and paint colors. Arrived on time, and worked professionally and quickly. Touched up an area my wife noticed a drip on without complaint. Price was very good. Would absolutely recomend this company.

GREAT! Jeff returned my phone call promptly and was able to provide an estimate the same day. He was extremely professional and during the walk through for the estimate he made recommendations for hardware on the doors. I needed to find a painter to do a complete interior painting and repair of my sister's condo. My problem was that the work needed to be done after she had moved out and I would not be able to be there during the time when the work would be completed. I do not live in the area, and so I did not have a clue who to hire. I have an apartment business in upstate New York, so I knew what would need to be done to get this job right. I am so lucky to have contacted Jeff at JMK Painting Inc. He made time in his busy schedule to meet with us and to do an estimate before we left NJ. Rather than just doing the work, it felt like Jeff personally took on our project, like getting it right was very important to him. He made a variety of important suggestions, and did much more than just painting. He installed woodwork, made repairs to closet shelving and doors, replaced wall registers, replaced door knobs, and more. Whenever he discovered something that he felt needed to be addressed, he called to get my approval and gave me a quote on the added cost. He removed old wall paper and primed and painted all walls and ceilings. When he was done, the place was sparkling and move-in ready. He did a wonderful job, for a reasonable cost. If you are looking for a dependable painter doing high quality, affordable work, you can't do better than Jeff and JMK Painting!

I was very pleased with the work Jeff and his team did. First he was available sooner than anticipated and he finished the job faster than anticipated. The job was done with quality and attention to detail. When he was about 3/4 of the way done, there was a very minor issue with a small section that was not sanded all the way down. Honestly it was hardly noticeable. Jeff was on it and made sure that no matter how small the issue, I should be 100% satisfied, and I am. My house was left clean and the end of each day he was there. I plan to use his services to paint the first level rooms in my house.

It went very well. Jeff was always on time, was systematic and very prompt in responding. He was amiable when requested to make changes - when asked to reinstall a cabinet to a little lower position on a wall, Jeff readily agreed to do so. I sent them a message via the Angie's List system. They called me back July 10th and said they'd be in contact for an appointment but I never heard back from them.

Would highly recommend Jeff! He arrived on time for our appointment and came back with a quote fairly quickly. Jeff painted a few rooms for us, one of which included painting over old wood paneling. He added molding, changed out an old ceiling light, sanded and re-painted our bilco doors and removed wall paper for us. He was able to tackle whatever it was we threw at him! Jeff was on time every morning and was very clean. Awesome job, Jeff!

Jeff was very quick to respond, and once we agreed on the details, started the work the very next day. Very friendly, punctual, and thorough. The attention to detail was extremely refreshing. The house (we had just bought it), was not in terrible shape, however the previous "contractor" that had worked on it must have been blind, drunk, or just plain didn't care, as everything in the house was poorly done and crooked. Jeff did his very best to fix the errors the previous person left. We are very satisfied with the work and the difference between what we bought and what we moved into is unbelievable. Hire Jeff, you will not regret it, but please keep in mind that I will be giving him first dibs on any future projects (kitchen and bath remodels, and new floors) as he was that good. we needed our livingroom/dining room and hallway & celings painted. After searching Angie's list, JMK paintings were quick to return our call and schedule a quote. Jeff came out and gave us a reasonable priced quote so we decided to move forward with the job. On the day of the job, Jeff arrived at the stated time and began the preparation. I was very impressed with how thorough his preparation was as some painters are quick to lay down plastic start the job and leave. Jeff was aslo very thorough with the painting. Results are the rooms look great. We ran into a bit of a hurdle on the 2nd day when after finishing the living room we decided that the color seemed extremely strong at night and made the decision to change it. Jeff re-painted it the next day at very reasonable rate and we are extremely happy with the final results. I would highly recommend JMK paintings for any paint jobs.

Jeff was punctual for the estimate. He provided a price very quickly based on our needs. He was able to come the next week and finish a job in 2 days (which would have take me much longer). He used lots of drop cloths. He didn't make a mess. He cleaned up after himself. The results are great. He worked hard for 2 days.

Jeff did a great job and was great to work with. I called him for an estimate for some work in our townhouse and he was able to stop by and do an estimate the same day. He started prep work the very next day even though it was New Year's Eve. He returned a day later and worked non-stop to try to finish before we got hit with a snowstorm (which he did accomplish). We are very happy with his work! We would never have been able to do it as quickly nor as nicely as he did. He also did a great job when it came to keeping paint away from our property and cleaning up. We had just put down new floors and were concerned about paint getting on them. We didn't find a single paint drop on the floors. Jeff was also very kind in giving us tips on things we could do around the house to fix other issues we have. I would highly recommend him.

Jeff did a great job of painting our condo in South Plainfield. He was very proactive and provided valuable suggestions as to what needed to be fixed or replaced around the house to make it ready for putting up on rent. He fixed these himself and did a great job of making the condo in a ready-to-rent condition. He has been very responsive and finished the job exactly in the estimated time that he had provided. Will definitely hire him again.
