Moving
The packers arrived late but started work immediately. The packed some boxes and wrapped the remaining furniture in either moving blankets or tape. There were three packers and all worked in separate areas of the house. One packer didn't do much work but spent a great deal of time on the phone. Two of the packers stated that this was their first move yet they were not supervised by the leader. He was in a separate area of the house. They stated that we would pay for the load dependent on area of the truck that was packed but we could never get a figure on how much would be needed. The leader kept stating "don't worry about it". The didn't start loading the truck until nearly 10:00PM. After continually asking how much more than the estimate (we didn't get in their way) we discovered that the price would be approximately three times more than estimated. My wife went off the deep end and was angry almost to fisticuffs. We resolved that they would pack what they had and leave the rest and we would find another way. I was present only after work so I didn't see everything that was packed. We were told that we had to pay half up front, and the second half at deliver to the driver in either cash, or cashier's check. When the load was delivered in Florida (on a Sunday) the driver refused to accept the Cashier's Check and would only accept cash. We had some cash so my wife (I was still in PA) had to travel to about every bank in the area with credit cards to draw out as much cash as she could in order to obtain delivery. My wife noticed that there was a great deal of damage done to the furniture, and to items that were supposedly "packed by professionals". There was virtually no padding in any of the boxes other than plastic tape that was wrapped in abundance. Approx half of everything that was fragile was damaged in one way or another. We did get everything but not in very good shape. A close friend had given me some very expensive china that was collected by his mother and 1/3 of the entire collection was destroyed. A nearly new refrigerator was extensively damaged but at least still works. We attempted to report our damages to the mover but they will not reply in any form. I have though about suing but doubt that I would make out on that deal after paying a lawyer. I would never recommend this company to even an enemy. By the way, they reported their office in Brooklyn NY not New Jersey.

Moving
Canceled move after I refused to pay more. They said the car broke down and stated it may take a little longer and cost more. This took place the day of the move.
