Andrew, owner of Cosello Construction, is a true gentleman in terms of honesty, integrity, and professionalism. His workers reflect his good character and were always polite and courteous. They went the extra mile in doing their work with precision and care. They also cleaned up after themselves every day and made sure our home was in order before they left. I would highly recommend them to others.

I reached out for an estimate and Andrew returned my email the next day, which was great as many contractors were slow to respond. However, he doesn't offer free estimates if you don't own your home yet and will only come in post closing. While I understand that sales fall through and therefore estimates could be considered a waste of time, once that person finds another property they are likely to call you again. In my case, the work needs to be done prior to living there, and I have a month max between closing and my desired move-in date. So waiting until closing cuts into the limited time we have to get the work completed. My suggestion would be to consider changing the policy to post-inspection for free estimates, especially if what's required is more general contracting work vs. heavy design.

The job went great! Our expectations were met and in the time frame that we had hoped. I would definitely recommend them both for this particular type of project as well as any home remodeling needs.

He was not just listening to what we are saying but also giving as ideas as to what we got for the quality and ideas.

Cosello Construction was a great choice! Andrew and his team were very professional. I was impressed with their promptness and the amount of work they accomplished within the agreed timeline. At the time of renovation, we lived at our condo and I worked from home at times. This being the case, I was able to stop in anytime during the day and they were always there whenever I came. There were times that I would come at the end of the day and Andrew would be there to give me a walk-through as to what's been done and discuss what's next to do. During one of my walk-throughs, I realized that the paint we had asked to use for the living room and hallway was too dark. I was hesitant to ask Andrew's team to redo the areas with new paint, however I asked nonetheless. To my surprise, they responded without an attitude (obviously, I know they didn't want to show it) and they went on to complete the additional painting the next day. Although I asked them to repaint some areas, the timeline for the overall work was still met and they did not charge me extra for the additional work. Overall, I can't stress enough how happy my wife and I are with Cosello Construction. It's been over a year since the renovations have been completed and we continue to receive compliments for the flooring (Andrew actually chose our wood floors!!) and the built-in cabinets that Andrew built. Cosello Construction will always be our first choice to perform any other renovations in our house. We look forward to working with them again.

These guys are great. Came out immediately to give me a free estimate. Work was scheduled in the time frame I was told, and work was done in a timely manner. There was a slight issue that was rectified immediately. I am very happy and will be calling them for my next project. Thanks Andrew and Drew!

A total tear down except the roof, new footings, walls, put in a ceiling with cans and finish outside wall of house. Room would be 24x12. My wife says there are things that need to be done inside first and that the price was high, even though it was close to what I thought it would be. Guess it'll get done when I can put my hand thru one of the walls. Thanks anyway Andrew!

It was a pleasure working with Andrew. He was very responsive and very helpful in picking out the products we needed. Price was reasonable and we are very happy with the final product. I would 100% use him again in the future.

I had to search around to even find contractors willing to come out and give me an estimate. I finally found several, and Andrew Cosello was one of the contractors who came out. He was on time and incredibly professional. His estimate was not the lowest, nor was it the highest. But I very clearly remember that he was the most professional and straightforward. He also gave me suggestions for some other work that I needed to have done. To be honest, I completely forgot about doing a review of the roofing work his crew did. What reminded me was that my neighbor's home recently sold, and their home inspector asked to use my roof deck to get to their roof. While up there, the inspector commented that my roof looked fantastic, but the home being sold need some roof work done. And, of course, when I meet my new neighbors, I will recommend Cosello's!

Everything went well. Took a long time before they could get to me.

Called Andrew for an estimate for a basement remodel. He answered my call on Sunday and advised us that Delaware was to far to perform service. He recommend another contractor to do the job. Andrew call me the following day and told me the contractor was not licensed in Del. I thank him for the good follow up. Just taking to this guy you can tell he know what he is doing.

The project overall went very well. His crew were great...on time, courteous and thorough. We were happy with the finished products. If we had any questions/concerns along the way, Andrew was there to address them. We would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Andrew showed up with 2 workers and installed everything in one day. They were all very nice, polite and cleaned up very well. I liked that Andrew seems to offer some suggestions about the best way to do things and I feel like he is fair. He also stayed with his crew the whole day which is not what all construction teams do. They did a beautiful job. The doors he sold me are very high quality and will last a long time. I hope to hire him for some future projects.

They started the job and did approximately 80% of the work and then they were supposed to come back and pour cement in the basement. The estimate was for $6000 -- $500 was for the last piece of pouring cement. When he came back to pour the cement, he asked for an additional $1000 and wasn't interested in finishing the work if we wouldn't pay him. We fired him at that point and finished the job ourselves. Also, we got the permits for the work and we had an architect provide plans. The plans that were drawn up and shown to me were modified without me being told. They enclosed an area where the water heater is and if I would ever need to remove the water heater, I would have to take parts of the enclosure down. About $3400 was for the actual work and the rest was the cost of the architect and permits. I asked for an invoice of the cost estimate of the architect and he was not willing to give it to me. We found out the permit only cost $25 so I don't know who else got paid the additional amount.

The work is incredible! They were on time and on budget. They are extremely detailed. Each person that worked at our house was polite and professional and seemed to be an expert in their individual field - they clean up and you are left with beautiful high quality renovations for a good price.

Andrew was great and the staff showed up on time. The work was excellent and it was finished on time.

The work turned out very well. They were very pleasant, responsible, showed up on time, cleaned up, and did everything they said they would. It looked like a completely new house by the time they were finished.

Since no one showed up to review and discuss the job - nothing is being done with this company. A little courtesy goes a long way.

Contacted Cosello Construction to obtain an estimate to add a bedroom, bathroom, and living room, onto my son's home in Cherry, NJ. We met, talked about the job , and went over it at my son's home. It's been OVER TWO WEEKS and I have not received a phone call or email from them with the estimate. I specifically asked them to send a written estimate to my son's email address, and to call me to give me a verbal estimate. I have received neither one of these. Not at all what I expected from a business with an "A" rating.

Angie's list really came though with this recommendation for a good contractor. I found Cosello Construction to be both professional and knowledgeable. The owner Andrew was easy to contact, came out immediately, followed up with a written estimate, and didn't make any changes once a price was agreed on. They didn't take short cuts, but did the job as if they were working in their own home. The men came on time every day until completion. The workers were polite and really a pleasure to have in the house. The site was cleaned daily before leaving, and all debris removed at the end of the job. The job went smoother then I could have hoped for. In addition, Andrew came back to make sure that an access panel was put in so that Fios could easily access the new TV wiring. I have had enough bad experiences with contractors to say that it is such a pleasure to have finally found a contractor that is this good. I would recommend them to anyone starting a home project . I am thrilled with the outcome, and can't wait to start another project with them.

Initial Phase ========== 1) Cosello Construction, Inc. (CCI) showed up promptly and provided an estimate 2) The work agreement was straightforward. Work Phase ========== 1) CCI took advantage of a previous owner's work 2) Teams of workers were polite and hard working 3) Since we were painting, purchasing bathroom appliances we had to work well together and we did. 4) New windows were installed promptly with an expanded size to make the basement not feel like a basement. 5) CCI was open to our suggestions for improvement and again we worked well together. 6) Communication throughout the process was solid. Not showing up was never an issue - very dependable. 7) Total project duration and overall drywall work are two areas for improvement, however these were *not* major negatives. Final Phase and Final Thoughts ========================= 1) To comply with NJ state law we paid ~2K check after final inspection. 2) We enjoyed working with CCI to complete this project and would highly recommend them for other customers.

He came for the initial consultation. We discussed what we wanted done (a major kitchen remodel). We gave him a copy of our kitchen drawing to scale. He left saying he would get back to us with an estimate. We did not hear from him for two weeks so I called him. He said he thought the estimate went out already and he would check and make sure it was resent within the hour. That was a few weeks ago and we have not received anything.
