He took on some new people recently and obviously he's going. I preferred his services.

Richie is great! So is Jon, of course. They have done a lot of work for me over the years, such as put in a new sump pump and new boiler and water heater. All have been fine with absolutely no problems for years.

It went very well. Ray came, diagnosed the problem, explained it to me and fixed it. He was knowledgeable and efficient and very pleasant to deal with.

John was able to come within one hour, as promised, and was able to remove the broken piece to replace it by a valve, allowing me to turn on the water back in the house. Very good professional, very good service and fair price, knowing I made him come without notice on a Friday night: thanks a lot for your help!

I installed a new bathroom and used a family member. While they are not certified plumber they are very competent. I installed all new 3/4" piping but for some reason was having major issues with water pressure. I called John at Visentin Friday and 5pm and he took time to discuss it with me. He ended up coming by on Monday and we went over my issues. He took his time and heard me out and come to find out the pressure issue is only on one side of the house.. Despite not doing any work he was very professional and thorough and gave me a solution to try before spending any money. I really appreciated the time he took with me and would definitely recommend him.

John was very prompt calling me back. He sent Rich and his helper the next day at 9:00. They were finished by 12:30. They were very prompt and professional. The price was reasonable and they gave me a senior discount. I would not hesitate in calling them again for any other work.1

Just got done playing telephone tag over 2 days with John and was ready to set up an appointment to install a toilet and was told that they do not "go down to Weehawken" Their website says "Proudly servicing all of Northern New Jersey" When I mentioned this he asked me where I saw that and I said it was from his own website, he just mentioned that he would have to look into it. John of Visentin Plumbing -- arrived as scheduled. Took a look, fixed the stem of the hot water handle and was on his way in 45 minutes. No muss, no fuss, no mess. The fix was exactly what John had told me on the phone when I had described the problem to him for the exact price that he had quoted to me. This leak was a steady stream of water, as if the knob could not be turned off and I could see my water bill rising by the minute. I had expected the repair to be a big deal as I had had a handyman come to look at it who told me that the fixtures which were original to the 1950s house couldn't be repaired and that four rows of tiles would have to be ripped out and then the pipes would have to be cut and a new spout and hot/cold knobs would need to be purchased, re-connected to the shower and then I would need to buy replacement tiles and have someone else fix those. That sounded like multiple times for the tenant to take off from work and for me to be available to provide access to the basement to turn off the water. Whew... none of that was necessary. I didn't submit my review right away, I guess I was still skeptical that the fix was too easy. It is obvious that John knew exactly what he was doing.

We had our furnace replaced by this company. They were knowledgeable and professional. They were in and out in a day, and set up the other services and inspections that were needed for permits. We are happy with our new quiet, clean, efficient, and inexpensive boiler. Highly recommended.

John was great. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The installation was done by Richie and he was great as well. Took care to address all concerns. Tested the whole gas system after installation and was very helpful throughout. Very professional.

John and his crew replaced our 1960s hot water boiler. We requested quotes from multiple plumbers. His price was reasonable, and after talking with John about the project, we felt confident choosing him to complete the work. His crew worked efficiently, completing all work within a school day. The new boiler performed very well through the very cold winter that we've had. After a recent power outage, we noticed that the heat wasn't working properly and called John. After trying to help me to fix/diagnose the issue over the phone, John came out the same day and was able to help us determine that the issue was an electrical one with the thermostat that we installed post-boiler replacement, leading to a quick repair. We have found John to be responsive and patient with all of our questions. We plan to call him for future plumbing work.

I sent in a request for an estimate on 10/15. I received a call to schedule and appointment on 10/16 for someone to come out and provide an estimate on 10/17. I was very surprised at how quickly the company responded. When the gentleman left my house he told me he would be in contact with me in the next couple of days to provide me with an estimate and schedule when the work was to be done. That was the last I heard from this company. I went to their website on 11/2 to inquire about where my estimate was and still have yet to hear from this company. I have no idea why they decided to come out and waste my time. I gave them plenty of time and even tried reaching out to them, giving them the benefit of the doubt because of their ratings on Angie's List. Still nothing. Now I have to start over at at step 1 with my house not properly heating with winter right around the corner. Thanks for nothing.

Mr. Visentin sent one of his workers and he did an excellent job. The work was performed the day after I approved the estimate cost; He arrived on time and he spent about 3 hours working in the house. The job was completed to satisfaction. I recommend Visentin Plumbing and Heating and I will use them again. I have other jobs in mind. I will contact them as soon as I am ready. Excellent work. Very professional.

John's a busy guy but was able to fit me in. Richie came out and did a professional job, much better than the last guy that touched the toilet and caused the problem (water weeping out of the bottom onto the floor). Overall I am very satisfied with the work.

How did it go. Very Well. John Visentin and his crew handling the permitting, removed the old furnace, provided a good reference to remove the old tank. He and his crew are courteous and professional. Removing an old oil furnace can be a messy job and they did a good job containing the mess.

The quality of work was good, I had one little problem, and I called them, and they came right out to correct it. I had them come out and service my boiler in the fall.

They are punctual and clean. The price is competitve. Communication is excellent and they explain everything in great detail.
