Visentin plumbing came and cleared out the hair clogged drain. They also were able to get my snake out. It was stuck in there very well. They did a great job and were very professional!

Visentin Plumbing did an excellent job from beginning to end. He was punctual and responsive in returning calls. He handled all of the permits, town inspection and worked with a chimney company to have the chimney inspected. The price was competitive to other estimates. He left the work area clean as if no work was ever done. I would highly recommend Visentin Plumbing. One of my best experiences with a contractor.

I called John for an estimate for 3 plumbing projects in the house. He was unavailable to give an estimate until the following week, and we had 2 other plumbers coming sooner for additional estimates, so we scheduled the estimate with the caveat that I might need to cancel if we decided to go with one of the other options. John called to confirm the day we had scheduled the estimate and at that time I had to cancel as we did go with another option. However, John returned calls promptly and was professional in this pre-bid process.

He was extremely reliable and he responded right away when I called. He was a few minutes early for the appointment and he brought assistants with him so they could measure everything. They really explained everything that would be done and I can?t say enough about them. They were polite and professional, and he gave me the estimate by the end of the week. As soon as we get approval he gets the job; if he spent that much time on an estimate, I can only imagine how well he?ll do with a job. If I have any jobs that need to be done at home, I'll be calling him for those too.

Everything went perfectly. They were great.

We called Visentin for an oil to gas conversion and he returned our call promptly. After a few minutes into the conversation, it was determined that he did not perform this service for our specific needs but he did recommend another company and even asked us to call him back if this company did not handle all our requirements (to see if he could help further). We were not regular customers of John, however his effort to help reflected something hard to find these days, True Professionalism.

John and his crew are skilled professionals, timely, courteous, and very neat. All work was done as promised. He followed up with us after completion as to any problems or issues - there are none. He is honest and above board and proud of the job he does. We are very impressed with the fine workmanship, and have already recommended him to neighbors.

Responded right away to phone call and arrived the next day to do the work. Efficient, effective (accomplished what other plumbers were unable to do -ie. get those action figures out! ) very professional.

They came on a Saturday and were in an out quickly. There was NO MESS at all! It was great. I would use them again in a hear beat.

He stayed with my daughter until she understood the problem and explained that the last repair service she had in 2008 put a new piece on the WRONG boiler since she lives in a condo and there are five boilers in the basement!! The heat came on within minutes and he walked up four flights of stairs to make sure the thermostat was working properly.

THE COMPANY CAME IN ON A FRIDAY AND STATED THEY WOULD CALL BACK WITH AN ESTIMATE. IT HAS BEEN ABOUT THREE WEEKS AND THE COMPANY HAS NOT CALLED.

They came on a Saturday and were in and out pretty quickly, they were very responsive given that it was the weekend.

He was very helpful even though he couldn't do the work in New York because he is not licensed. He walked me through what things I need to have in order for the work to be completed. Also stated that I could call him back in the future if I had any additional questions.

John Visentin is phenomenal. He is prompt, courteous, and professional from start to finish. We had been poorly serviced by All Clear Plumbing on a boiler and also mis-informed on how to continually care for it. John took the time to clearly show and explain to us the servicing of the boiler. The snaking of the bathroom was interesting. 1st, they snaked the bathtub and made it clear. Then they tried to snake our sink. Due the curve of the piping, John came back later with a different type of snake and cleared the sink. Only a day had gone by, and our bathtub was clogged again and it was later found out the clean-out of the sink re-clogged the tub. John came out later that day and re-snaked the tub for no additional charge. That is a clear sign a contractor stands by his work. Lastly, John came out on a Sunday to fix our boiler's igniter that had called it quits. He did not charge us a Emergency Call either while it was the dead of winter. Bad contractors are everywhere but Visentin and his crew are not like any of them. They are super solid and we'd recommend them to anyone.

They did the estimate about a month ago. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. I would use them in the future.

We phoned Visentin late Thursday, 3/4. He returned our call Friday and agreed to come Monday, 3/8, to give us an estimate. He arrived early on Monday and examined the situation. He said, "I think I know what the problem is. I need to price a kit to make the repair. I'll call you Wednesday with an estimate." My husband couldn't get him to explain his diagnosis of the problem. It is now late Thursday, 3/11, and we have not heard from him. We will not call this plumber again.

Called the provider and they called back the same day. I had just a couple of simple tasks. 2 toilets needed adjusting for simple leak issues and then replace a bathroom faucet. We scheduled the appointment for a week ahead and they expressed that today in the afternoon was better than morning, so I stayed home all day to accommodate them for when they came, but they never called or showed. Very disappointing indeed.

They ended up discovering the lines had air in them so they cleaned them all out and the pipes. Now it works perfectly. We've discussed being on their list for yearly checks now.

The owner was excellent and top notch. I will use him again. The price was good and he was very quick. He took care to wear booties. I will recommend him highly.

Just a year into living in our "new" home, we discovered there was a crack in the pipes of our boiler which caused water to leak onto the pilot light and pipes resulting in massive rust and wear. In essence, the boiler became unsalvageable. With the autumn weather getting chillier by the day and a young toddler in the house, we really needed heat in the house. The boiler itself was approximately 22 years old and was maintained poorly by the previous owners of the house. Towards the end of October, we started calling several heating contractors in Essex County to schedule visits for estimates. During each call, we stressed the urgency of not having heat in a home where a toddler and four adults reside. Visentin Plumbing & Heating was the ONLY company that called back within hours of my leaving a message at their office. The owner of the company, John Visentin, came over himself the very next evening to evaluate the problem and give us an estimate. The other three contractors we called took an average of a day to three days to even call back. After more than a week of useless phone tag with contractors who didn't seem to share our concern about not having heat, and who did not have evening or weekend hours, we went back to our first point of contact, Visentin Plumbing & Heating. John answered all our questions regarding gas steam boiler efficiency, how higher efficiency boilers would save us money on monthly gas/electric bills, what our options were in changing the type of heating system we have, and how to maintain a new gas steam boiler. Despite having a packed schedule already, John called his team in on a Sunday for us so that we would have heat by Sunday evening! He understood our concerns about not having heat with a baby in the house and he was even very sweet around our son. With 3 other workers, he spent the entire Sunday from 8:30am - 6pm getting our house up to speed with heating. He even replaced the vents on our ancient radiators so the loud hissing sound that used to occur every time the heat came on is now blissfully silent! His entire team is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciated their efforts so much we bought them pizza for lunch. Our family will not be going to anyone else for our plumbing or heating needs ever again. Visentin Plumbing & Heating is the company for us for their excellent work, great professionalism, expert knowledge in their field, and above-and-beyond customer service. Did I mention that even their pricing is fantastic for the level of service provided? Simply outstanding.

After 36 years, we finally needed a new Boiler/furnace. Since the Hot water heater was 22 years old, we also need to replace it. I received 5 estimates, all in the same general ballpark. In addition to being highly rated on Angie's List, Visentin Plumbing was also highly rated by 2 of our neighbors. So we decided to use this firm, headed by John Visentin. We set up a date and John and his crew of approx. 4 men came exactly when scheduled. They performed all necessary work & even fixed a gas leak without additional charge. As long as they were there, I asked them to replace a damaged outdoor faucet, which they did at reasonable cost. After they left, John called twice to see if all was well. Finally, John's price was the exact same as his estimate, and he honored a 10% discount offer advertised for Angie's List customers. While spending $5,000+ on a new boiler and hot water heater is not my idea of a fun expenditure, John Visentin made the necessary expense worry-free and of value.
