I thought everything went very well. Jason showed up within about 5 minutes of the scheduled time. He assessed the problem and then went over some options with me. Basically, the shower valve was leaking behind the shower wall. I attempted to shut off the water to the house but even after closing the valve as far as it could go the water was still running. Jason told me we could either call the town and ask them to shut the water off outside the house or he could cut in a new valve on the fly. I told him to do it and he was able to do it with a minimum amount of water loss. After cutting in the new shutoff, he went to work in the bathroom. He was having issues getting the handle off of the old valve. He again went over the options. He told me that if he continued that the valve might break in which case he would likely have to replace the valve. He also mentioned that he would have to make a bigger hole in the wall that he would be able to cover up with a larger face plate. I told him to go ahead and the valve did break. He didn't have a new valve on hand and had to purchase one. At this point he mentioned he had another appointment that he was going to be late for and offered to come back and finish the job later that afternoon. Once again Jason returned within about 5 minutes of the time he told me he would be back. He replaced the valve and added a new face plate. In the end, everything looked good and the leak is gone. He was very professional and clean. He rinsed out the tub and wiped up the floor. I will likely be calling Extra Time again to help out with some other work.

Jason arrived on time, work done well, price fair, good cleanup afterwards. I am planning to use him on a larger job soon.

Jason came to house to provide a quote on the job described above. His quote was thorough and was one of the best rates quoted for the job, that included bonding which some of the plumbers did not even know was required by the town code. He was the first one to complete the quote and forward to me. WHen hired, he promptly provided a schedule to do the job and followed up with me prior to the day of the job as promised. He went to town hall and pulled permit, came and did the job as quoted. He was thorough and did a good job, including installation and adjusting the stove until everything was working perfect. He followed up with the inspector and scheduled him to come by to review the job and let me know when they would be coming by. His final price was exactly as quoted, even though it took him more time than expected when quoted. I was very pleased with Jason's work, price and professionallism, and with the job he did as a whole. I am glad that I chose him to do the job and will use him again and refer him to anyone looking for a licensed plumber. Thanks, Jason, for a job well done!

Jason was here as promised and took care of the problem in good time, explaining what was wrong and offering options. When I asked about another issue, he took a look at it and proposed a solution he could do that day. He did not have the special part needed, but said he could pick one up on his way to/from his next job and would be back later in the day. Sure enough, he returned a few hours later to finish the job. His rates were reasonable, and he was courteous, clean, and professional. I would not hesitate to call him again.

I had found him by checking Angie's list and reading some of the reviews. Living in a Senior community I will alert others of my satisfaction.

I found Extra Time Enterprises (Jason Thomas - Owner) on Angies List and called him to repair a leaking toilet. I had expected a week or two wait but he said he could come over later in the day. WOW...that doesn't happen anymore with out emergancy service fees! Jason showed up exactly as we scheduled and explained that water could be coming from anywhere, that it may not be the toilet. This was not an upsell, but an education! He said we would start with the toilet then go from there. He pulled the toilet, replaced the wax ring, re-bolted the flange to the floor and leveled the toilet. I think the bathroom was cleaner when he left than when he started...Sorry Jason....but he works cleanly, quickly and price was more than reasonable. We talked about future jobs and he took the time to educate me on options but was never pressuring me to do the work or schedule the work. I have already given his name out to others looking for plumbing work. I highly recommend Extra Time Enterprises and WILL use him again and will continue to refer him.

Two floors suddenly flooded this morning as all the water from the toilets, sinks and washing machine backed up into the house. Not fun. After mopping up the worst, I jumped on Angie's List and found Extra Time plumbing. Jason was helpful on the phone, made arrangements to come to the house this afternoon, and even tried to troubleshoot over the phone in order to save us some money. He arrived, figured out the issue (backed up septic line) and called a septic tank expert (Clean Drains) who arrived about an hour later and got the drains running again. Excellent price, timely, professional, and (most important) got our drains running again. Now I can finish the laundry. Very glad I called Extra Time, and I would definitely call again!

Jason answered the phone when I contacted him to schedule an appointment. That alone was impressive. He was about 10 days out, which was fine. Busy is good. Jason arrived 15 minutes early and started immediately. He uninstalled the old dishwasher and had the new one in all in less than an hour. Friendly, courteous, professional. Will hire again.

He was responsive, flexible on time and came back when the faucet I purchased was not functioning properly. He went above and beyond when, after learning I had thrown out the box the faucet came in, brought a box that had come from another customer who had purchased the same one. Very very pleased and beyond sorry that I did not post this before today! Highly recommend...

I am beyond grateful... Realized in the morning that my kitchen sink was leaking through the disposal. He answered my call, troubleshooted and said he would be out that afternoon, which he was. He was, again, responsive, efficient, thorough and professional. I will be calling again and have recommended to others.

Was having issues with my electric hot water heater (water not staying hot long and thermostats tripping out. Called Jason from Extra Time and explained the problem. He made an appointment that was convenient for me and asked for some information off the water heater so he could pick up the right parts and have them when came to do the job and not have to run out to the supply house which would have cost more time. He showed up on time and replace the bad parts within an hour and a half. He charged me $223, which was very reasonable compared to the other plumbers I checked out. He was very professional, organized and his truck was clean and well set up. I'm an electrician so I can tell when another tradesman has his S*** together. I plan on using him again to install a water softener system.

Mr. Thomas did an excellent job for us. Right from the beginning he was wonderful about communicating over the telephone and e-mail to set up an appointment. When he ended up being held up a few minutes by a prior job, he called ahead to let us know he was still coming but running about 1/2 hour behind schedule. He took all the time needed for our job and explained what he did. Prior to having him perform service, we could barely get through one warm shower. After he placed the mixing valve and adjusted the water temperature a little bit, we have been able to have warm showers. We are not plumbing experts but were able to easily understand what Mr. Thomas was telling us about our plumbing questions. He is extremely clean about all his work. We also liked that he has emergency services. We would call him again if we need a good plumber.

Originally searched Angie's List to find a reliable and professional plumber to service my daughter's home plumbing issues. Read most of the reviews for this contractor(of which there were many) , and couldn't believe his were so good. So gave his name and number to my daughter. She called him, told him what she needed, and he made an appointment for NINE DAYS out since it was not an emergency. He claimed this was the soonest he could come. On the day of the appointment, he called my daughter at 4:05 pm (the appt. was for 4:00 pm) to say he was running late and would be at least an hour(we would assume more due to traffic at this time of day) late. I was the one waiting for him to show, so I told her to tell him not to bother if this was any indication of what we could expect from him. This was very unprofessional of him and showed a tremendous lack of respect for our time. A call should have been made much sooner if he was expecting to be this late. I had planned on using this contractor in my own home if things went well. Unfortunately, now we both will have to look for someone else, Keeping in mind that even someone with all previous excellent reviews does not mean you will get the same great service. What did we do wrong?

We have always had issues with not having enough hot water. Our house was built with a tankless coil model water heater, which worked OK, but when running the shower, the water would turn cold and then you would get a surge of scalding hot water. Needless to say, we also could not run the washer or run hot water anywhere else in the house if someone was in the shower. Additionally, we never had good water pressure in the shower. Jason came to our house and after explaining our concerns, gave us a couple of options he felt would improve our situation. One was to replace the coils as there was probably sediment build up inside, which was more than likely restricting flow. Another option was to install an indirect hot water tank and eliminate the coils altogether. The first option was the less expensive of the two and while we struggled with the price difference, Jason assured us that by going with the tank, we would truly have endless hot water and it would more than likely improve the water pressure in the shower. We decided to go with the hot water tank and scheduled the installation. Jason showed up on time (he had the parts dropped off the evening before) and went right to work! I think the job took longer than he anticipated, due to some of our original pipes and fittings needing to be replaced. Regardless, he stayed until the job was complete (including 2 trips to hardware store for additional parts) and everything was functioning as he expected. We could not be happier with our new hot water tank, and, as Jason predicted we would say, ?I don?t know why we didn?t do this sooner!? We now have ample, steady hot water for the shower and can even run the dishwasher or washing machine while someone is in the shower! I would definitely recommend Jason and Extra Time Enterprises to anyone that is looking for a confident, thorough and hard-working plumber in the area!

Working with Jason went well. He took the time to explain things to me and gave me some choices. I am going to have him return to do another job. I would wholeheartedly recommend hiring Jason.

Like the prior reviews stated, Jason was accessible, flexible in coming to the house same day and quick to diagnose and fix a leak under our sink. While a relatively small fix, coupled with the prior reviews and our experience would definitely use Extra Time again. Thank you.

My husband and I were very pleased with Jason's work. We were experiencing a leak in our basement from a first-floor toilet. My husband discovered it when he came home from work one evening, and I used Angie's List to find Extra Time Enterprises. Extra Time's reviews were good and they were close by, so I called them the same evening. Jason called around 7 the next morning, and then stopped by our house on his way to another job. He found the problem and was able to stop the leaking, and then replaced the supply house. He didn't have the shut off valve with him, but promised to return another time to install the part, and only charged us for 1 service call. We were first time customers and the job was fairly easy. We were extremely impressed with receiving almost immediate service, and today he came back to finish the valve installation. We will use Extra Time again.

Very helpful, explained what was to be done, how it was going to be done, and potential problems. We ran into a few snags (fixtures were 40+ years old) but the job was completed on time and on budget. Very happy with level of service and competence. Highly recommended.
