Lew's Appliance & Refrigeration

Description of Work: This was a follow-up to a previous service call. I called Lew in the morning, and he went to my tenant's apartment, took care of the appliance problem and instructed my tenant on ways to avert any recurrence |I rely on Lew for punctual, reliable service at all of my eight apartments. His rates are always reasonable and I feel that He really knows what he is doing. I often rely on his advice when purchasing new equipment.

Description of Work: Repaired a leaking faucet in the downstairs half bath. Expensive, but very quick and very good repair.

Description of Work: Lewis came out and quickly figured out the washing machine had a broken pump. He ordered the pump and came back the next day to put everything back together. I'm very satisfied.

Description of Work: Dishwasher ejector pump was not working. Lewis did not dawdle, but worked diligently and found the problem. There was a piece of glass down IN the pump mechanism that was stopping the whole works. Lew got it, discovered that the glass had (surprisingly) caused no permanent damage to the unit. He then did a very thorough job of making sure there was no more glass hiding and making sure all other parts were in proper working order. He seemed very knowledgable and explained a lot to me while he was working. Exceedingly neat and professional. I will definitely call Lew's again.

Description of Work: Lewis diagnosed the problem with my refrigerator over the telephone. He was familiar with this 4-year old Samsung model as one that has many, many problems due to its design (different from most others). His recommendation was to NOT pour money into repairing this refrigerator. Our decision to purchase a new one did NOT make any money for this company. Thank-you for the free professional advice.

Description of Work: Lewis came same day as called and diagnosed fridge. Compressor was bad and he estimated cost of repairs, but we decided to just replace fridge. Seems like the quality in Fridges has gone way downhill since "Energy Star" while awaiting service and replacement used an old fridge that had been sitting in barn for over 20 years and it started right up in contrast to the junk they are putting out now .... they won't even warranty the stuff anymore so have to get an extended warranty with purchase or accept compressors dying after a few years .... but Lewis "done good" ......

Description of Work: The relay of our Maytag dryer failed. Lewis was prompt and professional to respond and diagnosis the problem. As it turned out the power cord was fried due to a defective wall outlet. He successfully repaired the relay and got the dryer running during the initial visit. Then returned, as promised, the next evening with the pieces to replace the power cord. (The wall outlet was replaced using other resources thanks to his diagnosis/recommendation) |We were very pleased with his service and will call on him again when the need arises.
