A Very Good Cleaning Co

It went very well. Mark was informative about the products he was uses for the cleaning. After much construction around the house, our staircase carpet was very, very dusty and dirty. The staircase took about 20 minutes to clean, 5 hours-6 hours to dry and it looked like new afterwards. In summary, it was a very stress-free, hassle-free experience, and he will be the first person I call in the future.

He confirmed by email/google calendar right after we talked on the phone. He re-confirmed the day before and arrived on time. He explained what he does and why and how long it would take for the upholstery to dry. He was friendly and professional. The job took about as long as he estimated. I gladly paid him. The furniture came out looking fantastic!

He showed up on time and did an excellent job of cleaning my old carpet. It came out better than I expected.

Borders of carpeting against walls were not cleaned, as he claimed that required extra effort and he did not have the correct tools. I was told I would have to get some special cleaner to clean the borders. had to run out to Home Depot to get similar product and a brush. Spent about 2 hrs cleaning the carpet-to-wall areas in all 4 rooms. Also, I was told the carpets would dry in roughly 6 hrs or so. They were very wet and required 3 days to dry. This was during days when the air was dry and t he windows were opened. Nice guy, but not thorough. Expected ALL the carpet to be cleaned, not just the areas he could get to easily.

I appreciated the fact that Mark called to tell me he might be a few minutes late but in the end he was on time. He's very easy to deal with and he did a great job cleaning my carpeting. He was able to remove several stubborn stains that had been there for some time including blood stains from my dog that are very had to remove. I thought his price was extremely reasonable in fact I fully expected to pay at least a hundred dollars more. I would hire him again in a minute.

What a great service! Owner Mark Acciard did a fantastic job. He quickly responded to my inquiry, followed up by email and called when he was on his way. Unlike some other carpet cleaning companies, he did not nickel and dime me. He removed a big 3 yr old stain that I had accepted as being permanent. Very professional and a nice guy too.

My appointment was for 10:am on Monday September 16th. His truck pulled up in front of my home at 9:55am, 5 minutes early. Great. He came in to survey the job to be done. Took my word for the approximate size of the job. His offer was for 600 sq ft of carpet cleaning for $100. I measured the rooms and came up with 605 sq ft. His comment was no problem the price was what he quoted. He even cleaned my front and rear entry rugs, at no additional charge. He was very friendly, professional and easy to work with. The entire cleaning process took about 1 hour. He explained the cleaning process and approximate drying time I should expect. I asked about Scotch Guard for the dining room (we had discussed on the phone prior to my booking) but he told me it was not necessary because we must vacuum frequently and keep our carpets so very clean. All in all this was a very good experience and I have already recommended him to one of our friends for their carpet cleaning.

I never thought I would find a decent priced/quality workmanship carpet cleaning business way out here in Strafford.. after leaving Milford a year ago and using a company that we used for ten years .(we have animals)Mark does wonderful work, my carpet is sanitized and my chairs look almost new again- which he saved me from reupholstering them!!! Thanks Mark !!! Well I am happy to say I have a trustworthy, dependable carpet cleaning business that I will definitely call back again!

Provider initially returned call to set a date for service. We set the date and he confirmed by email (+) Provider called to change time on same date and sent another confirm email. (+) Provider offered to give price for vent cleaning when I mentioned that certain rooms were dirtier/dustier than other. When I asked him about it during the service call, he did not price it out and no longer seemed interested in providing that service. (-) Provider cleaned rugs. I did not notice if he did any stain treatment. When I asked about the 2 stains that were still apparent, he suggested I let the rug dry, and that if the spots were still objectionable, he would return another day. (-) The stains in the rug are still noticeable, but my husband and I were equivocal about calling the provider to come back. We realize that it is a light colored rug and that it is 6+ years old. Pricing: the service provider cleaned the MB and adjacent dressing room, the hall and one BR for the $100. He charged an additional $90 for the other 2 BR. I agreed to it, but in truth, we are talking about the traffic area of each room, and the 2 additional rooms added up to about 30 square feet total.(-) The provider also told me about his other main job which means that rug cleaning is perhaps not his main job. I did feel that he was rushing, but was trying to do a good job. So 3 weeks out, the rug looks okay; the traffic areas are again dark so it may be time for a new rug. Nothing wrong with the service, but nothing stellar either.

Mark was punctual and courteous. He walked the house with me first to see the areas he would be cleaning and to check on areas that I wanted him to pay special attention to. He had all the equipment, cleaning supplies, and water to do the job. He got to work and cleaned all areas thoroughly. At one point, he stopped to show me the "before" and "after" on a carpet in one room. He answered all questions I had. We had moved most of the furniture out of the way so he could clean. He moved furniture that was too big to get out of the way--back and forth so that the entire carpet was cleaned.

My carpets looked very nice while he was cleaning, but most if not all the spots that were pre-treated, became visible again on the carpet. They became visible shortly after the steam cleaning was done.

Mark called to see if he could come early which was unexpected but appreciated. He looked around to find the best way to hook up his equipment and was especially considerate considering everything was just cleaned and prepped for my move-in the next day. He asked about any particular problem areas and I showed him where the painter got paint on the carpeting. He wasn't sure he'd be able to get it out but said he would try. He was able to get it out about 95% but I could only see it if I really looked hard and even my mother didn't notice it which was the real test! Mark was very nice & professional. The only reason I put B for quality is that after seeing the amazing before/after pix on his angie's list page I guess I was expecting a bit more of a difference. The stairs were in pretty bad shape and the painter had gotten paint on them too but they didn't look too much different when Mark was done. I could tell they were cleaned but I thought it might look more revived. Also, I had asked how long it took to dry and he told me where he started would be dry by time he finished but that was not the case even though I had air conditioning. It took pretty much 24 hrs to be totally dry. Overall though I would use Mark again and recommend him to others.

On time, very pleasant and professional. The off-white berber carpets look like new, which is not an easy thing to do in a camp setting, and a long history of multiple golden retrievers!

My carpet hadn't been cleaned in over 8 years. The stairs and traffic area of hallway were deeply dirty and stained where the kids had dropped food and splashed drinks. Bedroom carpet was very stained from food being eaten in bedroom. Carpet is a light cream color. I didn't think there was much hope of getting it clean. Mark arrived right when I was expecting him. He introduced himself and his company and gave me a couple of his business cards. He told me about the process he used and how long it would take to complete and how long to dry. I expressed my concern about being able to clean a carpet this dirty and he said it would definitely show an improvement even in the traffic areas and asked me what the stains were so he would know how to pretreat them. He brought in his equipment quickly, asked if we had a cat or any small pet that shouldn't be let ourdoors because he would have to leave the door open for the hose that attaches to his truck. He pretreated the stairs and all the problem areas quickly and went right to work steam cleaning. He finished quickly and we walked through to look at the finished results. The whole area looked brighter, smelled clean and the stains except for one or two that were very dark originally and were now only dimly noticeable, were all gone. The bedroom carpet looked new. He cleaned up his equipment quickly and I asked him about a couple of rugs that I would like cleaned and he looked at them before saying whether he was able to clean them or not. I also asked him about deep cleaning the tile and grout in my kitchen which he looked at and said he could do. I felt he did a wonderful job for a fair price and I was very satisfied. I was impressed with his professionalism and his work, as well as his pleasant manner and I felt he patiently answered all my questions about this job and future jobs. I am going to be calling him again to do the rugs and other bedrooms and to clean my kitchen tile.

Mark had some cool tools for finding 'problem areas' and treating and cleaning them appropriately.

Mark was very professional and arrived on time and went right to work. He was mindful of securing the vacuum hose carefully thru our front flower bed in order to get into the front door and upstairs. His worked quickly and bore up under massive thunderstorms and rain downpours to get the job done. Our couch was very stained and his cleaners really made a huge difference. The cleaners were not chemical-smelling but very pleasant and light. I highly recommend A Very Good Cleaning Company and will use them again.
