Mark was very responsive from the very beginning. He arrived on time and went right to work. There were a lot of rooms to clean, so this did take some time. He recommended keeping the air flowing to help dry things up quicker. Unfortunately, we were not yet living in the house, so were not able to do that. When we went back the next day, the carpets were still slightly damp in some rooms. Upon opening the house up a bit, they dried and were beautifully fresh and clean. Only exception to this was an upstairs bedroom that had a lingering musty smell to it. Upon calling Mark to ask for help, he came asap and was able to remove the odor completely. I was very pleased with the job done and would absolutely hire him again if needed. Thank you Mark!

Initially the carpet looked good/clean but the next day the stains were back. He was very personable and pleasant. I was just disappointed in the outcome of the cleaning.

The carpet cleaning went well, however, the person who did the cleaning, I had to go back after him and clean handprints off of walls. I had him clean the carpets in the TV room, upstairs hallway, and bedrooms.

My husband and I just bought a house and the previous owners had a dog and two cats. We decided to have the carpets professionally cleaned before we fully moved into the house, and we don't regret that decision at all. The cleaner took care of the musty dog smell and the carpets look 100% better (not that they were in terribly rough shape beforehand). The clean carpets somehow make the house feel more like our new home. I would highly recommend A Very Good Cleaning Company to anyone looking to get their carpets cleaned. The gentleman that came by was very personable and efficient. He was done before I realized he had even gone upstairs. He was about an hour early for my appointment, but he called beforehand to verify that that would work for me, which it did.

After the areas dried , there was one area that still looked stained. I contacted Mark a couple days later and we scheduled a time for him to come back to address that area. He came back , used a product to eliminate the stain and it was gone after drying. Very responsive and highly recommend.

Mark did a great job and I would use him again.' Had a small carpet mat that needed cleaning and he threw that in as well. When he was going to be a bit late he called to let me know.

This guy is fantastic! Very friendly, hard working, and he did a wonderful job.

He was punctual and very professional. Our carpets look so much better and helped us get a new tenant for the townhouse within a week of getting them cleaned. It had been listed for lease for about two months already.

Overall, it wasn't a great experience. They were expensive in comparison to their competitors, and I didn't receive prompt call backs. I was the one who had to follow up with them just to get their pricing. We've since found someone who does much better for about the half the price.

I can't believe how clean my houses carpets are now (and how dirty they were!). Highly recommend.

We purchased our carpeting about 7 years ago and had them cleaned once. Just my husband and me so not much traffic. I am very pleased with the results! When looking down from my upper level balcony as he was working I could really see the marked difference from the areas he had done and those he hadn't done yet. Our carpet looks wonderful and I have Mark's card and will call him next time. He was efficient, courteous, explained what he would do and accommodated my "pickiness" gracefully. For promptness I graded a B only because he was 15 min late. He was very apologetic. I had put off getting my carpet cleaned because I was't happy with the last person I used and just didn't know who to call until I went to Angies list. Thanks Angie!

I was doing some painting that I needed to finish before they could clean the carpets. They were accommodating to my schedule. The service was excellent.

It was not good at all. He was the worst cleaner that ever came in to do my carpets. He came in and I told him what needed to be done. He didn’t even move anything which I asked him what he would like me to move. He only cleaned the walkways. I also asked him to clean my powder room and he didn’t. He only cleaned the walkways and that was it. I told him I was very disappointed. He wanted to come back, but I told him “no,” and I would never use them again. The deal was not worth the $150 that I paid.

Good guy - very pleasant. Had to come twice- told me the first time that he had doubts as to how well the job had come out. When I called to say it still wasn't right, he came back, at no charge, and redid the job. Used a different cleaning product - much better this time. Offered to clean the carpet at no charge but I paid him anyway. Highly recommend!

Went well cleaned stains others could not clean

Thank god I did so much work to move so many things out of the house or pile stuff up because he barely moved anything. I had vacuumed the whole house so this could get an awesome cleaning but I ran out of time to vacume our sun room- note his service said that they vacume prior to cleaning as part of the servie, well when he was done there were still dead wasps on the now wet carpet in the sun room. I would say it looked 50% better in the easy spots for him to do and I was very disappointed that the house did not have a clean smell.

Outstanding job. they have never looked as good.

Unfortunately we weren't able to work out a time to get it done and I have tenants moving in and won't be able to use the Big Deal.

He did a good job. He wasn’t very good on getting back to us when we called him but overall he did a great job. There was some confusion on scheduling but it worked out and we were very pleased.

Mark was prompt, friendly, and very thorough in cleaning the carpets. Was able to tackle some tough stains that I had not been able to get out. A plus was that the products he used were "green" and did not pose any threats to humans and pets. Will call him again.

My husband and I are very pleased with the service we received from Mark, the owner. He was quick to respond to my online request, provided a very fair quote for the work, and did an excellent job on cleaning our sofa, loveseat and wing chair. I was looking for someone to clean our slipcovers without removing them from the sofa/loveseat, and Mark easily accomplished that. Our dog had rubbed her eyes and body along the bottom of the sofas, so there was a lot of dirt showing. It all came out!! Drink stains came out from the cushons as well. Mark moved all the furniture for us and put it back in place. He was in and out in probably about an hour. The only small glitch was that he didn't receive my confirmation email when we scheduled the appointment, so I sent him a friendly reminder when he didn't show up at the appointed day/time. He was right on it and came the next day. No problemo. We would definitely hire Mark again!

The rugs were cleaned in a rented mobile home. WHAT A CHANGE. Everything was done well. The cleaning was done on time and in a very professional manner. I will certainly use this company again!

Mark gave me a courtesy call to say he was on his way....I found that to be very professional right from the get go. We had a lot in common but he took the time to go over tough areas and listen to my concerns about other cleaners lack of cleaning. He helped me (or did himself) move some odd pieces of furniture that was left...he was extremely accommodating! He finished off by telling me if there were any problems etc to please call him. That was a super offer because we weren't sure of a couple stains (they did come out) I did forget one passageway but will hook back up with him in the new year after the craziness of the holidays pass. And I feel like I am comfortable with calling him and telling him of the missed area. There is no way he could have seen this area it was totally a brain cramp on my part. I would recommend. A very good cleaning to anyone that was looking for a professional, courteous, hardworking cleaner!

My "assumption" was that the price quoted was to clean the outside of the entire house, including the decks. Turns out, he cleaned the problem sections and some of the decks. The house looks nice, but I expected more.
