They were very responsive to our inquiry and came out quickly to give a bid. The father(the son owns the company) was very nice and treated us well. Their bid was towards the low end of the range for our neighborhood when we checked prices online. We had called several larger companies on Angie's list but either they did not call back, one gave our name and number to this company as they do not do chain link or were 50% higher than this company. Unfortunately, not many companies wanted this small of a job. I really liked these people and I wish I could give them a positive review but I just can't due to the poor communication and delays. They were very polite and considerate of our pet and our garden which was near the fence. We were originally told it would take 2.5 to 3 weeks before they could do the job. About two days after we gave them the 50% payment they called and said they could do it the next day. We hurriedly notified the neighbors. They came as indicated the next day and removed the fence then put in the posts. The crew leader (I believe it was the son/owner) said they would be back in 3 or 4 days to put up the fence. It was Friday so we expected them back Monday or Tuesday. We have a dog and so does our neighbor so we put up a cheap temporary fence to try to keep the dogs in the yard. By Wednesday, we had not heard from them and had no fence. We called them on Thursday, they indicated they had some equipment issues so it would be delayed. They were going to try to make it that day but the rain prevented it. They said they would be over Saturday. Saturday morning they called and said it would be Sunday right after lunch. We called them around 3:30 pm on Sunday and they said they started on the other side of town and were working our way. We expressed our frustration. They finished the fence on Sunday around 6 or 6:30 pm except the fence caps. They say they will be back tomorrow to put on the fence caps and pick up the final payment. They are a new company and trying to get started, however, having a dog and a neighbor with a dog we expected them to be more timely. We at least expected notification and not have to contact them repeatedly when they were not on schedule. They are nice and polite people but rather disorganized. I don't think they are prepared for all the business coming their way. The gate is rather cheap but I guess you get what you pay for and they were at the low end in the price range.
Description of Work: The previous homeowners had removed a section of the chain link fence and replaced it with a privacy fence. When the privacy fence needed to be replaced, we wanted to have the chain link put back in the to match the rest of the yard and neighborhood. We needed 56 feet of fence replaced then the gate/fence between the house and property line which was about 5 feet.
