Sharp Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning

We purchased an Angie's List Special for this company, where they would clean the carpet for a certain number of rooms and a set of stairs for a fixed price. We knew that the scope of services would exceed the limits of the coupon, and advised the owner that we knew that there would be additional rooms/square footage, and an additional set of stairs that exceed the terms of the certificate. We scheduled the service from this company approximately one week in advance of the work being performed, scheduling it for 1 PM in the afternoon. On the day of the service, the called and advised us that they had a cancellation and if we could meet them earlier. Since the house was vacant, they agreed to gain access through the garage using the keypad, and did not require someone to be there to perform the work. Upon arrival, they measured the space and noted the additional stairs, and quoted me the cost of additional overage on the phone. Since we purchased a Angie's List Service, they gave us a discounted price on the stairs, additional square footage, and some additional pre-treatment on heavily soiled areas, which we paid using a credit card over the phone. Overall. we were pleased with the overall service and quality of work performed by the company.

One gentleman showed up on time. I was surprised to find there was only 1 guy and he finished the cleaning by himself all in 1 hour! We paid for 6 areas! We were impressed but also skeptical about the quality of the cleaning. After the cleaning, I walked around and noticed some of my puppy's old urine stains. We asked about the pet treatment but he quickly said it would cost about $60 and up, left it at that, had us sign papers and quickly left. I was very excited until after the carpet dried. All of the carpet that was treated felt rough and dry even compared to the feel of it beforehand! I told my husband it felt like they simply washed it with water. Period. That's it. I called back and the owner of the business, I believe, agreed to come back and retreat open areas and do the pet treatment for $60. Same results. Dry, chapped, rough carpet with minimal change in the overall cleanliness of the carpet. I would suggest another company.

They came onsite for a quote within 2 days of initial call. They did a great job explaining what results to expect and didn't try to up sell me on stain guard or etc. Upholstery couch cleaning was $75, 7 area carpet was $199, whole house tile cleaning and sealing was $380. Availability to get work done was awesome and they got me in next week. Did a really great job and were here most of the day. Tile before and after could be used on an infomercial. They actually move things for carpet cleaning, which is awesome. I've been using Stanley Steamer for years and from now on will only use Sharp. Half the price and better quality.

They sent one service guy and he cleaned all the areas in roughly one hour. I thought it was a little fast but the cleaning looked good initially. The carpet was fine, my problem is with the tile and grout. Called Joel to complain and he wasn't the nicest. He said we should have complained sooner and let them come redo it. Well, if a company doesn't do a good job the first time, why would they do a good job cleaning the second time?

Excellent and efficient work. No mess left behind at all. Nice and pro workers explained details and answered my questions.

Came up as a "special" on AngiesList. There were several companies offering the same service (and at the same price). I'm glad I chose Sharp! This was the first time purchasing something directly via AL, so I wanted to speak w/someone directly. I spoke w/Joel who was very patient, answered all of my questions, and confirmed my purchase via AL. Was contacted by Jim the morning prior (appreciated the heads-up). Jim arrived on-time, did a thorough job, and even cleaned several stains I couldn't remove (and didn't charge me extra). By all measures, this is a well-managed group of professionals. I will certainly call upon them for any future work and encourage you readers to do the same.

The workers were great. I would recommend them. They were on time and did there job.

It seemed to be fine. They put down carpet deodorizer or something like that because we had several pets and so they charged us extra for that but that wasn't part of the original contract.

They did a fantastic job. When I had a question after, I was called back swiftly and options discussed. We never had to implement any of them. I would most certainly use their services again. Their quality was impeccable.

Sharp showed up pictures of before and after which was nice because we could see the difference. Prompt and courteous service.The only thing I would not do again is to have the ducts sanitized alot to pay for a few shots of spray.But overall the service was great they did their job and cleaned up after themselves.

Ducts were cleaned well, they did it quickly and professionally.

Sharp carpets cleaned our carpets around mid-march, 2015 during my kids' spring break. We had another company out that did a 'dry' clean where they basically grind some sort of a powdery chemical into the carpet and suck it back out - we felt Sharp did a much better job. The carpet was soft, smelled great and they were able to remove some of the problem areas we had due to pets. They did such a good job, we dog sat for some friends this past weekend (5/16/2015) -- and they were responsive (ie. came out the next day) to assist with a very large stain the Golden Retriever left behind, and did an amazing job with this as well. I've recommended Sharp since using them. I will continue to use them in the future. I feel on both occasions they were polite, professional, take the time to explain their process, do a great job and have reasonable prices. Thank you Sharp!

He did a wonderful job with the dryer vent. He cleaned it much better than others have done it in the past.

Very easy to communicate with, explained all the details of the different things that they could do so I would know what exactly I wanted done. I wanted a basic cleaning and deodorizing as a basic yearly cleaning. Very personable but professional.

Trying to get him to finally commit to a day when he would be there was tough.

Went well. The long dryer vent goes through the attic. I was shocked how much lent build up there was, probably a fire hazard. The only reason I gave "B" for quality was because the furnace cover wasn't secured. Two screws were out. The A/C air was blowing into the basement for a day. Not a concern for the next customer, just providing feedback why the "B". I would use them again.

It was good. I liked the price. Two technicians came out.

They did a good job. The only thing was when I told him that it was relatively new carpet, he said that it would take the scotch guard up, he said that he could put it back down but for an additional charge. So after thinking that I was paid up thru PayPal, I had to write another check for the scotch guard.
