Sharp Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning

They did what they were supposed to do, but didn't really seem to care about what they were doing. They cleaned 4 rooms, a staircase and a hallway in less than an hour. They did one pass, didn't seem to give any extra attention to problem areas. I'm satisfied, but not impressed.

Joel and Tim arrived right on time to clean the carpets which were very dirty. The process was explained to me before they started working. The results exceeded my expectations. Am very pleased with their work and would use them again.

Excellent service and professionalism. Joel walked around the house and explained in detail what his crew would be doing. They wore protective footwear and put pads on the floor to protect the carpeting. The crew was courteous, clean and professional. They cleaned up and made sure the furniture etc.. were put back in place before leaving. Setting up the appointment was done via email. Joel responded quickly to my emails. He called prior to coming and arrived on time. I was very pleased with the service and would use them again.

The customer service was very spot on, very friendly and cooperative, and very cordial. They were responsive, on time, called to let us know they were coming, the were very professional, they briefed my wife on what they were going to do ahead of time so she’d know what to expect. I called before they got to our home in order to ensure they the right tools so our flexible ducts didn’t get damaged. Very throrough!

John and his team with Sharp Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning were terrific. John was flexible with scheduling and performed the cleaning in less than two hours. They were thorough, professional, and prompt.

Purchased Angie's list deal for $199. They were able to get us in in a few days were fast and did a great job. I did pay and extra $75 to sanitize the ducts also but well worth it!

I guess they're okay they were really nice guys, when I purchased stuff, they were out a week later. They were prompt, courteous in answering my questions, they didn't just come in, get the job done and leave, they're customer service is good. They were a bit late and they didn't call me that they were gonna be late.

They called me 30 minutes before they arrived and were right on time. They told me that it would take 3-4 hours to first clean all ducts and then clean the carpet. They were done in under 4 hrs with the entire house and they explained how dirty the ducts were.

I bought an Angie's List coupon by this provider for $199.00. We liked this deal because it promised the cleaning with unlimited vents. The deal did not include cleaning the dryer vent which we included. That charge was an additional $50. Joel from Sharp called the same day that I bought the deal and explained that there would be further charges since we had two furnaces; but since both furnaces were side by side, the charges would not be much (this charge turned out to be $100). On the appointment day he arrived promptly, shortly followed by his assistant Tim. Joel wanted to bring the vacuum tube through the basement window; however, it does not open so he brought it through the garage and down the stairs. He told us that the ducts had never been cleaned as no access holes had been cut into the pipes. First, in the process of removing one of the cold air return covers in our kitchen hallway, Joel tore the drywall paper. He explained that he usually scores around the covers. Didn't do it this time! He apologized and offered to paint the wall, but finding the paint to match in the basement wasn't possible at the time. Next, all of our carbon monoxide detectors started going off, including one stored in a box of spare parts in the laundry room.. Joel and Tim had left only a crack open in the garage and the exhaust fumes from their trucks were leaking into the house. We had to find fans and open all doors and windows to exhaust the fumes. Joel tried to explain why this was happening..... Lastly, all of the shavings from cutting the access holes in the pipes were left on the floor of our basement and tracked on their shoes (which were not removed or covered) throughout the house. My husband and I spent the weekend cleaning and vacuuming up all the shavings, some of which scratched our hardwood floors. The $75 final expense in the bill was for a sanitizer/mold deterrent that is sprayed into the ducts.

They worked around my immediate need and schedule. Joel and his employee were very professional and accommodating. Process went fairly easy. I was hoping the vents in the wall would be cleaned but they didn't clean those.

Our family is small but we are on the move constantly, and we have three dogs. So you can imagine our carpet needs regular cleaning. Our current carpet is the carpet we purchased just prior to our child being born, so it's life expectancy in my mind is near if not imminent. Okay so Sharp Carpet was very responsive to my purchasing their "deal", $99 for four rooms. Joel and I were able to come to agreement on a date and I was given the customary four hour window ( a peeve of mine) but I was able to narrow him down to about two hours, something I could live with as well. They arrived on time with an advance call to let me know they were on their way. I had already moved the lighter furniture items and the gentlemen prepared his equipment and went to work. I am a bit of an over the shoulders guy, not to manage but to learn. He handled my constant presence well and answered questions along the way. We agreed they would do the living room, hallway and two small flights of stairs. The technician was polite, clean, professional and knowledgable regarding equipment performance specs, etc. The technician worked to remove a wax candle spill and did so to our pleasure, as well as some aged coffee stains on our stairwell. By the end of the visit I felt quite pleased at the result and now two days later am still satisfied with the job they performed for us. I will certainly call on Sharps again and recommend them to neighbors.

After finding the problem they told me what I needed to do to fix it. They only charged me a service fee and not anything more for finding out the problem. They were very courteous, prompt, and honest. I would use their services again if needed.

They called days before the appointment to let us know how to prepare the house and then arrived on time and explained each procedure before starting. We had several questions which were answered completely and professionally. They worked efficiently with little disruption to our daily activities and got done faster than we expected. At the end of the job they offered to clean some areas of our carpeting as long as they were there. They did that as well and we are very happy with all the work that was done that day. The price we paid was very reasonable and we would definitely use this company again or recommend them for any one who needs these services. Great job!

We were very pleased with every aspect of having Sharp Carpet/Air Duct Cleaning come into our home and clean the ducts. Joel was punctual and very pleasant to work with. He called to let us know they were coming, arrived on time and completed the job in the time frame promised. The cost was very reasonable for a quality job! If only everyone was as awesome to work with as Joel at Sharp Carpet/Air Duct Cleaning. We would absolutely recommend that you use Joel!

The guys that came out were awesome! Before performing any work, they walked me through everything that they were going to do and showed me how their setup worked. They had to run several hoses into the house from their truck to perform the work which left all the doors open but luckily the heat or A/C didn't need to be on and the bugs weren't out (Not complaining. There is no way around it. Just be aware). Again, they were great and I would recommend them to anyone.

It went pretty good. They didn't charge me more than the big deal purchase. We scheduled it pretty quickly and they came out pretty quickly. They took out the vent in each room and they vacuumed each vent in the house. I liked that. I've never seen that before. I thought the price was pretty reasonable because I know it's double that. I will refer them if anyone asks.

We will use the company again and will refer others to them.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Sharp Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning. After purchasing the service through Angie's List, we were promptly contacted by the provider and we were able to schedule a time that best fit our schedule. On the day of the service, the owner of the company called ahead to confirm the service and to let us know when they would be arriving. The owner was the first to arrive and he performed a quick survey and explained in detail the work they would be performing. Shortly thereafter the rest of the crew and the equipment arrived and they got right to work. While they worked, they took care to put down mats and coverings to minimize any mess and when they were done they even helped me move back some furniture that I had moved to provide easier access to the vents. I was very pleased with the service and will be recommending them to my friends and neighbors.

They arrived on time and got right to work. They removed all returns & registers very carefully as not to disturb the paint. They worked quickly and did a very thorough job. Joel explained every detail of what he was going to do. I chose to add the sanitizing in all the ducts since I had never had this done before. I was shocked at how bad the intakes were! The next morning was the first morning in years that I woke up without any sinus problems! I will definitely be doing this every 3 - 5 yrs with Sharp. I absolutely recommend Sharp to everyone. There were no Cons to this service

Tim and Jim were great. I just bought a 1960's house that had a one time owner. This was in Council Bluffs Iowa The guys got right after the job and explained to me afterwards what was coming out of the duct. I'm sure the ducts had never been cleaned. I also set the appointment for the guys to clean my carpet which had dark path markings I wasn't sure would come out or make a difference. I intended to tear out the carpet and put in wood floors, but after the cleaning, I decided to wait as the carpet looked great. Thank you Tim and Jim and Sharp Carpet and Air duct Cleaning. I was very pleased.

Joel arrived and explained how the process would work. Tech arrived and cleaned vents. It took about 2 hours. Only thing, they did not turn the furnace back on, I had to ask and they did not tell me to check the furnace filter after a day or so.

I saw the deal on Angie's List for the $199 duct cleaning. We have a larger home in the country, and this was desperately needed (especially hearing what critters they found in the ducts). We added the extra $100 sanitation.
