Work was completed in 2 day. Mean while after finishing some of the turf died. They came out and replaced it. The property is now so much more level. Love it.

Jay is more than a great designer. I had a modest job in a mid-scale neighborhood (Benson-CountryClub) reworking a landscaping job that simply didn't look professional. I'd seen Jay's work at 60th and Blondo, so wanted to go with him. Jay gave me a reasonable estimate. He did a beautiful job - placing boulders, much, plantings. I wanted a couple modifications. His response: "We"ll take care of that; I want you to be happy." The very next day, the modifications were made! He brought more boulders, removed some material, and did not charge me a cent more. I ended up with a brilliant design and could not be more happy I went with Jay Moore Landscaping

We had a good conversation. It was Thursday, June 22, 2013. He knew the work I needed done, and what I wanted. He was going to send me a layout on the following Monday. I called him on the July 2nd--no response, July 11--no response. Then on July 17, I called and said I hadn't received anything yet, and felt he owed me an explanation as to why. He called back that day and said that he couldn't e-mail the plans, they kept bouncing back. He had my phone number several times, and could have called me to tell me that. He said he'd email the plan that evening, and would call me first thing the next day and go over it. He did e-mail the plan, but it's been almost a year, and I have yet to get the phone call. In discussion with others, I've found that his feeling is that he gets enough "big" jobs that he doesn't have to call back on the little ones that aren't going to be as prosperous. I needed a retaining wall, landsaping, and potential sprinkler system "rearrangement" to accommodate the work he had been asked to do. I was also needing some trees pruned/trimmed. My neighbor was also going to have a tree removed, and other work done at the same time. He called, and never even got a phone call back from Jay Moore. I would just be very cautious. He advertises in a lot of Women's magazines, etc., in the Omaha area.

Excellent work. Best spring clean up of our yard by any landscape professional. Definitely not the cheapest, but perhaps you get what you pay for. They finished quickly. Jay guarantees his trees for two years which has been useful as our evergreens died over the winter. Jay is quick to answer emails or questions and sends is crew our quickly if any problems arise.

Contacted Jay Moore Landscaping and spoke with Jay Moore himself in some detail about grading and french drains to help solve basement moisture issues. Jay Moore was very polite and friendly, said he would come by and take a look at the area and get back to me. That was 3 weeks ago and I have never heard back. Unfortunately, this type of behavior is commonplace among all the trades in Omaha. It's rude, unprofessional, and extremely poor public relations. For anyone in the trades or any contractor to think this type of behavior doesn't negatively effect their reputations and future business opportunities is a mystery to me.

We called Jay Moore, a high school classmate of my husband's, to provide landscape services for our old house several years ago. That project was completed just fine. We then moved to a new, much more expensive home in June 2012. We again called Jay. He came out for one meeting and walk-around. And that's the last time we saw him. He had indicated that he would return with a plan and estimate in about two weeks, but despite repeated voicemails to him, there was no more communication. When we initially called him, we were not getting bids from anyone else. We planned to use his services. However, as it became clear that he had no intention of returning, we contacted another company who provided the design and service to our satisfaction (and much more affordably than it would have been with Jay Moore.) We are perplexed as to why he would completely ignore a customer with whom he has an established relationship. This was not a small project, at least to us. And our home is in a "Street of Dreams" new development where he would have most certainly garnered additional clientele in homeowners and high-end builders alike. As small business-owners ourselves, we know the value of customer relationships and referrals that mean so much to our success. It seems Jay Moore does not have this viewpoint. The moral of this story is: If you plan to hire Jay Moore, don't assume he will want your business!

He meet at our home and we told him of what we were thinking. We had to call the covenant people to ensure that it would be okay to proceed. Once we obtained permission to go ahead we called him and then he must have forgotten or got to busy. After a few more calls he returned them and once it stopped raining he proceeded and did a wonderful He has specializes in arborist, we were looking for a tree and bushes that can hold up to the Nebraska climate and he had a few that he suggested.

I had to call them back because they did not put down enough wood chips in some places. When they dug out a trench for the compost, it was crooked. They did come out and fix everything.

They gave an estimate and they were real professional and the prices were reasonable. We let them come up with the design and they did a really excellent job of coming up with the design. The owner really kept in contact with us the whole time on what he was doing. It was a really good experience. We would use them again.

Jay was a pleasure to work with. He actually answers his own phone and gets back very quickly if a message needs to be left. His crew was very professional and did great work, meticulously cleaning up every day. Never missed appts, always returned calls and crew always showed up when promised.

This was a fairly simple procedure -- they dug holes for the pipes and installed the pop-ups, then filled the holes and re-installed the original turf. It took them less than one afternoon to do it and we are delighted with the result. I think they were a little expensive but you get what you pay for -- and they simply couldn't have done a better job.

Workers quick and very efficient. Clean up was excellent. Planting was month late, but that was due to rainy weather.

They were flexible.

I was happy with their services and satisfied with all of the work they did. They were cooperative, nice, and hardworking and it seemed like they knew their work well. They were responsive to my phone call and they gave me an estimate of the work I wanted done.
