Description of Work: They did a variety of plumbing projects around my home. They replaced one outdoor faucet and troubleshot and replaced another, along with a backflow preventer. They also ran a line and installed an outlet for the water supply for a new refrigerator. |I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism with which it was accomplished. I am also happy with the cost. Eyman is not a "bargain basement" firm, but in this case you get what you pay for. The quality and professionalism is well worth what you pay. Also, unlike some other firms, they don't advertise low prices and then surprise you with extra charges. In our case, for example, they had to make two additional visits to the house. Even though the reasons were beyond their control,they only charged for one service call.

Description of Work: Called to find a leak. Mike immediately saw I needed a new faucet. After ordering a faucet, he returned, installed the faucet and cleaned up some other potential problems. He was on rime, courteous and did a great job!

+ 0 moreI've used Eyman plumbing for a variety of jobs over the years, and they've always done excellent work. Once I thought I needed a new water heater, and they brought one over. But upon inspecting my current unit, they told me that I didn't need a new one, and that all was needed was a simple repair. They could have replaced it and I wouldn't have known the difference! Such honesty is refreshing, and appreciated. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Overhauled 3 toilets. In the past they have repaired a water heater, installed several shut-off valves, and fixed a leaking shower drain.

Description of Work: We called them to get an estimate for a new bathroom in the basement. As is customary, I plan to get at least 3-4 estimates. All other plumbers I called have no issues coming out to provide an estimate. This company, however, charges $30 just to give an estimate. I politely told them no thank you. I'll take my business elsewhere. A major job like this requires multiple bids.

+ -1 moreThe estimate of number of days to perform the work was spot-on, as was the cost of the work. The employees were very helpful and courteous and even after hours when I had a question, I got an answer. The pipe bursting method was the least intrusive to my front yard. The only digging needed was where the new pipe met with the last 10 feet of pipe to the city sewer line. This method was also the best solution so that no unsafe tunneling under my front room addition was needed, or worse yet potentially having to break the front room floor and slab cement underneath, to be able to dig to the point where the cast iron pipe under the house met with the clay tile. The experience was exactly as they promised it would be and they even threw in a sump pump and installation when the sump pump in the crawl space also stopped working right before the sewer line replacement work started.
Description of Work: Performed replacement of my sewer line from street into the house. They did via the pipe bursting method. I have a crawl space to access the cast iron sewer line under my house and a front room addition built with no crawl space; therefore the cast iron sewer line coming out of my house is about 10 feet from the front of the front room addition, about 4 feet down. There is no easy way to access where the main sewer line (the cast iron pipe) meets the clay tile sewer line running to the street and into the city's sewer line. The pipe bursting method allowed access without having to dig up my front yard or tunnel under my front room addition to get to where the clay tile met the cast iron pipe coming out of the main part of the house.

+ -1 moreWe have been using them for a very long time. Every time we need a plumber, they are the ones we call because we know we can count on them to do a good job and not be over charged. They are very trustworthy and nice to their customers. I also like that they are local and can get here fast when there is a problem.
Description of Work: They unclogged the drain in my basement that had gotten something stuck in there and it was causing back flow.

+ -1 moreHe showed up with the tanks internal replacement kit and shut off the water to the tank to remove the old parts. They inspected the tank itself and then installed the new parts which took care of the problem we were dealing with. He was fast and thorough and did a great clean up.
