Description of Work: They repaired my microwave door. It now closes and opens properly.

Description of Work: Never got the chance to use Convenient Appliance. Turns out they didn't service the make of my appliance. But I got a response and suggestions within a few hours. Pretty impressive for being right around the holidays. Will definitely consider them if another appliance goes on the fritz.

Description of Work: |The fan in my refrigerator stopped working, so I called CAS and they sent a guy to my house first thing in the morning on a day that was convenient for me. He was very nice and he went right to work on my refrigerator, the part that I needed they had to order. The part came in within a couple of days they called me to let me know the part was in and scheduled a time when he could come back and fix it. He came one afternoon and fixed my refrigerator it took him less than an hour. He was very nice and they really tried to work around my schedule. I would definitely refer them to my friends. |

Description of Work: I had a washing machine repair completed. The technician called before arriving and arrived when he stated. Work was completed quickly. Very courteous and professional. Convenient Appliance also is good to have a technician call you in the afternoon and see if there are suggestions to help you self-diagnose/repair the problem before coming on site.

Description of Work: The door to my built-in microwave was broken. I removed the microwave and carried it into the shop, saving myself a $75.00 service call. Within a couple of hours of taking it in, they called to tell me I could pick it up. It has worked great and I am completely satisfied with the the experience.

Description of Work: Repair of Frigidaire washer. Replaced latch part. I found same part on internet site and price from this repair service was almost the same. Nice to see a repair service that is not jacking price of replacement parts. Service technician was professional and punctual. I recommend this service.

Description of Work: Our oven went out. The guy came and checked and found the bottom element was bad in less than a minute. He wrote down the part number, got a quote from his office (almost 80.00). I asked if I could get it cheaper at Lowes or Home Depot; "No, too specialized and odd". Can I get it at an appliance store? "I bet so", he said. So, I did and it cost less than $40.00. I'll use them again.

Description of Work: As small as the amount was for the parts, it's the service and reputation of Convenient that is more the point. Our older dryer (18 yrs)had stopped working and after some research, my husband had narrowed down some possible causes. In lieu of purchasing a completely new dryer which we were certain would be the case, we contacted Convenient to locate parts. Before ordering parts, the fuse was tested at the shop (it was bad) and instead of "pushing" unnecessary parts and service, the representative recommended trying the fuse and some regular maintenance to fix the problem. By starting with "the simplest fix" we were able to get the dryer working at minimal cost. As a precaution we had ordered extra parts for potential fixes but as soon as they were deemed unncessary, we were able to return them. A $10 fix is better than a $750 one any day in my book! Description of Work: my washing machine was making noise. He listened to it cycle and determined that it was suffering from old age. He didn't take anything apart. He then advised me on it's life expectancy.

Description of Work: They performed warranty work on my Amana refrigerator. Replaced the compressor and fixed a problem with the ice maker. They could have charged me for the icemaker work but did not. The tech was on time and professional.
